EmuCR:gpSPgpSP mod 20090329 is released.gpSP is the best GBA emulator released for the PSP with great compatibility and performance. Exophase has gained instant respect and love from the scene for his emulator.
Many games already run very fast at 200mhz with sound and some frameskip.

EmuCR:Xbox EmulatorsCxbx 0.8.1 Test Build is released.Cxbx is an Xbox emulator for the Microsoft Windows operating system developed by a group of programmers led by a hacker named Caustik and written in the C++ programming language. Cxbx's goal is to convert a game from an Xbox executable to a native Windows executable.

Okay, it's Sunday afternoon (at least here it is) and I've got the rest of the evening to do whatever I feel like today, so I'm doing a little work on Cxbx today. Now, I want you all to do me a favour... the latest build of Cxbx from my branch is attached below, and yes it does play Smashing Drive! There's also a mini game attached below (remember the old DirectDraw game Donuts from the old DirectX SDKs anyone?), so you can test it with that if you have no compatible games. What I want you all to do is test it for speed! You can test it for compatability if you want, but right now I'm more worried about speed issues.

Why am I worried about speed, you might ask? Let me explain... lately I've noticed that every Cxbx dev has been getting faster results than I am with their branches. For instance, Caustik's last release ran Turok at over 85 fps on my machine, my build only gives me a fraction of that speed. The same goes for other games and XDK samples, even the mini game attached below has speed problems when there are only a few sprites on the screen. I'm positive that Smashing Drive can run at full speed (or at least 30 fps) and that's my current goal for today. I don't know it it's just my machine(s) or my builds. Today, I just want to find out once and for all. So if you have Turok or Smashing Drive, I encourage you to try this build and let me know what speeds you get.

Last minute notes: I disabled the debug output to the console to increase speeds a bit, so don't worry about KrnlDebug output. If running Smashing Drive and you get a white screen, don't worry about it; It's just an alpha blending bug and it will go away once you get in game. I'm sure this build has lots of bugs in it so don't freak out over random crashes (Smashing Drive shouldn't crash at all).

Glide3x (09.03.24) is released.glide3x.dll is a process belonging to the Glide for Voodoo Banshee program . glide3x.dll is module which supports 3DFX (Voodoo) graphics devices with the Glide 3D drivers.

Glide3x (09.03.24) changelog:
* Modified all LFB reading code to use PBOs. Needs a video card which supports OpenGL 2.1-3.0
* Modified the LFB writing code to use dirty rects for texture writing. (only writes the portions of the texture that have changed, a usual optimization technique when writing to 2D surfaces) Depth buffer code still uses glDrawPixels normally.
Tested with Beetle Adventure Racing, got consistent 60FPS with REFB on. Still, dunno if its placebo or not, due to I having a PCIE card.

WinUAE is a mostly complete software emulation of the hardware of the Commodore Amiga 500/1000/2000. A Commodore Amiga, for those who don’t know, is a 16/32 bit computer system based on the Motorola 680×0 CPU and a few specially designed custom chips that provide very good graphics and sound capabilities. Its first incarnation, the A1000, appeared in 1985, followed by the highly successful A500 and A2000 models. WinUAE is a port of the originally written for Unixish systems UAE; but over time, it seems the Windows port, WinUAE has become the best version available on any platform. WinUAE is free software: you are welcome to distribute copies of it and/or modify it, under certain conditions. There is no warranty of any kind for UAE. - added CD32 controller type to gameports GUI, enables CD32 controller emulation. Now it is possible to emulate normal joysticks in CD32 emulation mode (without using input panel)
- parallel port joystick adapter configuration added to gameports panel (GUI lists all devices but only joystick/keyboard supported)
