WinVICE SVN r31807 is compiled. WinVICE is a program that executes programs intended for the old 8-bit computers. The current version emulates the C64, the C128, the VIC20, all the PET models (except the SuperPET 9000, which is out of line anyway), the PLUS4 and the CBM-II (aka C610).
VirtualBox v5.1.6 is released. VirtualBox is a general-purpose full virtualizer for x86/x64 hardware. Targeted at server, desktop and embedded use, it is now the only professional-quality virtualization solution that is also Open Source Software.
Altirra 2.9 Test 4 is released. Altirra is an Atari 8 bit Emulator on the Windows/DOS platform. Altirra emulates several models of the 8-bit Atari computers. This includes the the 800, 800XL, and 130XE versions. It has a lot of options, and compatibility is decent especially given the emulator's early stages. It also supports some copy protected games properly in emulation.
Xenia Git (2016/09/12) is compiled. Xenia is an experimental emulator for the Xbox 360. It does not run games (yet).
Citra Git (2016/09/12) is compiled. This is the trunk of Citra Project. Citra is an experimental open-source Nintendo 3DS emulator/debugger written in C++. At this time, it only emulates a very small subset of 3DS hardware, and therefore is only useful for booting/debugging very simple homebrew demos. Citra is licensed under the GPLv2. Refer to the license.txt file included.
BizHawk Git (2016/09/12) is compiled. BizHawk is a A multi-system emulator written in C#. BizHawk provides nice features for casual gamers such as full screen, and joypad support in addition to full rerecording and debugging tools for all system cores.
GLideN64 Git (2016/09/12) is compiled. GLideN64 is a new generation, open-source graphics plugin for N64 emulators
ThunderMAME32UI+ VER.0.160X (2016.09.12) is released. ThunderMAME32UI is a series of Japanese derivative versions of MAME emulators.
Pasofami v2.29 is released. Pasofami a japanese NES, SNES And GameBoy emulator.
PPSSPP Git (2016/09/12) is compiled. PPSSPP is a fast and portable PSP emulator for Android, Windows, Mac, and Linux, written in C++.
FB Alpha Shuffle v2.4.0 (2016/09/10) is released. FB Alpha Shuffle is an unofficial version based on FBA with many features.
Dolphin Git 5.0-595 is compiled. This is the trunk of Dolphin Project. Dolphin is the first Gamecube emulator able to run commercial games! Dolphin is a Gamecube, Wii and Triforce (the arcade machine based on the Gamecube) emulator which supports many extra features and abilities not present on the original consoles. It has a partial Wii support and plays most Gamecube games.
OpenMSX Git (2016/09/12) is complie. OpenMSX is an open source MSX emulator which is free according to the Debian Free Software Guidelines, available under the GNU General Public License.For copyright reasons the emulator cannot be distributed with original BIOS ROM images. OpenMSX includes C-BIOS a minimal implementation of the MSX BIOS, allowing to play quite some games without the need to have an original MSX BIOS ROM image. You can also use your own BIOS ROM image if you please.
