DOSBox SVN r4049 is released. DOSBox emulates an Intel x86 PC, complete with sound, graphics, mouse, joystick, modem, etc., necessary for running many old MS-DOS games that simply cannot be run on modern PCs and operating systems, such as Microsoft Windows XP, Windows Vista, Linux and FreeBSD. However, it is not restricted to running only games. In theory, any MS-DOS or PC-DOS (referred to commonly as "DOS") application should run in DOSBox, but the emphasis has been on getting DOS games to run smoothly, which means that communication, networking and printer support are still in early development.
ThunderMAME32+ VER.0.106X (2017.09.11) is released. ThunderMAME32+ is a series of Japanese derivative versions of MAME emulators.
Dolphin Git 5.0-5485 is compiled. This is the trunk of Dolphin Project. Dolphin is the first Gamecube emulator able to run commercial games! Dolphin is a Gamecube, Wii and Triforce (the arcade machine based on the Gamecube) emulator which supports many extra features and abilities not present on the original consoles. It has a partial Wii support and plays most Gamecube games.
DS4Windows v1.4.94 is released. DS4Windows is a portable program that allows you to get the best experience while using a DualShock 4 on your PC. By emulating a Xbox 360 controller, many more games are accessible.
Cemu Loader v1.3.5 is released. Cemu Loader is a Cemu frontend. Cemu is a Nintendo Wii U emulator that runs commercial games. Highly experimental software to emulate Wii U applications on PC.
Pasofami v2.37 is released. Pasofami a japanese NES, SNES And GameBoy emulator.
fixGB Alpha v0.8 is released. This is still quite early in development so it cant do all that much, its essentially the GB version of my NES Emulator fixNES. If you want to check it out for some reason I do include a windows binary in the "Releases" tab, if you want to compile it go check out the "build" files. You will need freeglut as well as openal-soft to compile the project, it should run on most systems since it is fairly generic C code. Right now most standard GB titles using MBC1, 3 and 5 should work just fine and also save into standard .sav files. You can also listen to .gbs files by dragging them in, changing tracks works by pressing left/right.
Ishiiruka-Dolphin Custom Version (2017/09/10) is compiled. This Version complements Official Dolphin-Master giving support for legacy devices, and reducing cpu usage on the graphic thread. The focus is the gaming experience and speed. At the momment the focus is only in Windows DX9/DX11.
Ootake v2.84 is released. Ootake is a PC Engine emulator for Windows. Ootake is the most frequently updated PC Engine emulator available for windows, and Ootake is also one of the more complete. Also, Ootake is FREE unlike Magic Engine.
OpenMSX Git (2017/09/11) is complie. OpenMSX is an open source MSX emulator which is free according to the Debian Free Software Guidelines, available under the GNU General Public License.For copyright reasons the emulator cannot be distributed with original BIOS ROM images. OpenMSX includes C-BIOS a minimal implementation of the MSX BIOS, allowing to play quite some games without the need to have an original MSX BIOS ROM image. You can also use your own BIOS ROM image if you please.
mGBA Git (2017/09/11) is compiled. mGBA is a new emulator for running Game Boy Advance games. It aims to be faster and more accurate than many existing Game Boy Advance emulators, as well as adding features that other emulators lack.
EmulationStation (2017/09/10) is released. EmulationStation is a graphical and themeable emulator front-end that allows you to access all your favorite games in one place, even without a keyboard!
RetroMap v0.0.2 is released. RetroMap is an emulation front-end made in MonoGame.
WinVICE SVN r33702 is compiled. WinVICE is a program that executes programs intended for the old 8-bit computers. The current version emulates the C64, the C128, the VIC20, all the PET models (except the SuperPET 9000, which is out of line anyway), the PLUS4 and the CBM-II (aka C610).
XM7dash V1.2L77aR36/V2.9L77aR36/V3.4L77aR36 are released. XM7＇ is an eXcellent fujitsu Micro seven emulator for 7 platforms.
