EmuCR:DS2x86DS2x86 v0.10 Alpha is released. DS2x86 is a version of DSx86 for the SuperCard DSTwo flash cart. DSx86 is a PC emulator for Nintendo DS.

SSNES v0.5.1

EmuCR: SSNESSSNES v0.5.1 is released. SSNES is a simple frontend for the libsnes library. libsnes is the emulator core of bSNES, the most accurate SNES emulator to date, in library form. The libsnes API has been implemented by SNES9x as well, allowing multiple different cores to be used for an emulator that supports libsnes. This enables the possibility of custom front-ends for the emulator.

Project64k v0.26

EmuCR: Project64k Project64k v0.26 is released. Project64k is a version of the Project64 emulator that supports multiplayer games using the Kaillera network.

SSF Test Version (11/06/04)

EmuCR:SS EmulatorsSSF Test Version (11/06/04) is released. SSF is a Sega Saturn emulator for Windows systems using DirectX 9.0b. The current version claims near-complete implementation of the Sega Saturn hardware (not counting emulation bugs), and can emulate the Saturn based Sega Titan Video arcade hardware too. As with most emulators, CDs or disc images are not included and have to be owned separately. The BIOS is also not included; as of 0.07 Beta R3, games run without the BIOS however. The usage of BIOS files is optional but recommended for better compatibility, and needed for tasks such as management of the contents of the internal memory of the Sega Saturn, or setting the system clock.

DeSmuME SVN r4030

EmuCR:DeSmuMEDeSmuME SVN r4030 is released. DeSmuME is an open source Nintendo DS(NDS) emulator for Linux, Mac OS and Windows. DeSmuME supports save states, the ability to increase the size of the screen and it supports filters to improve image quality. DeSmuME also supports microphone use on Windows and Linux ports, as well as direct video and audio recording. The emulator also features a built-in movie recorder.

EmuCR: 19641964 SVN r93 is released. 1964 is a free Open Source N64 Emulator. It is one of the top Nintendo emulators arround that you can get with a high game compatibility rate.

Ville's Development Log (2011/06/04)

I have been implementing a lot more features of the Viper hardware. More specifically; the I2C interface and global timers on the MPC8240 and the DS2430 EEPROM.
Surprisingly enough, Tsurugi starts to show its attract mode, although eventually crashing after the scroll screen.

MESS SVN r11809

EmuCR: MESSMESS SVN r11809 is released. MESS(Multi Emulator Super System) is an open source emulator which emulates a large variety of different systems. MESS is a source-available project which documents the hardware for a wide variety of (mostly vintage) computers, video game consoles, and calculators through software emulation, as MAME does for arcade games. As a nice side effect to this documentation, MESS allows software and games for these hardware platforms to be run on modern PCs.
