MAME v0.143u5

MAMEMAME v0.143u5 is released. MAME stands for Multiple Arcade Machine Emulator. When used in conjunction with images of the original arcade game's ROM and disk data, MAME attempts to reproduce that game as faithfully as possible on a more modern general-purpose computer. MAME can currently emulate several thousand different classic arcade video games from the late 1970s through the modern era.

GameBoy Online (2011/09/06)

EmuCR: GameBoy OnlineGameBoy Online is a Game Boy and GameBoy Color emulator written in Javascript. It strives to be efficient and try to have a perfect compatibility. Currently the execution speed is not optimal even on browsers. For example on Chrome, which is nevertheless deemed to run Javascript faster on a PC running Windows 7 64-bit version with a double heart 2 CPUs at 2.2 GHz, games run at normal speed but almost skipping some frames.

NesDS v0.56a

EmuCR: NesDSNesDS v0.56a is released. NesDS is a public-domain NES emulator for the Nintendo DS. The code was originally written in the commercial Nintendo DS devkit. This project's first milestone is to port that code to the open-source devkit.

EmuCR: Free Heroes2 EngineFree Heroes2 Engine SVN r2521 is released. Free Heroes2 Engine is a free implementation of Heroes of the Might and Magic II engine. SDL is used.

OpenBOR v3.0 Build 3420

EmuCR:OpenBOR OpenBOR v3.0 Build 3420 is released. OpenBOR is an official port of the OpenBOR (aka Beats of Rage) beat em up game engine to the Wii. The initial port was done by SX and the current maintainer is Plombo.

iMAME4all v1.9

EmuCR:iMAME4all iMAME4all v1.9 is released. iMAME4all is a iOS universal app done by David Valdeita (Seleuco), port of MAME 0.37b5 emulator by Nicola Salmoria & TEAM for all jailbroken iOS devices (iPad HD, iPhone 4G , iPod touch and older) and it is based on GP2X, WIZ MAME4ALL 2.5 by Franxis. It emulates arcade games supported by original MAME 0.37b5 plus some additional games from newer MAME versions.

QMC2 SVN r3172

EmuCR: QMC2QMC2 SVN r3172 is released. QMC2 is a good GUI for MAME & MESS. QMC2(M.A.M.E. Catalog / Launcher II) is the successor of one of the first XMAME/MESS GUI frontends available, QMamecat (derived from MAMECAT, which was text-only). QMC2 has been rebuilt from scratch as a Qt 4 project. Parts of the design and code were inspired by its predecessor. The new design was made as flexible as possible to minimize dependencies from frontend- and CLI-related MAME changes, which was a major deficiency of QMamecat. QMC2 uses a template-based MAME configuration scheme, which can easily be enhanced with additional command line options (defined in an XML template file).

EmuCR:WiiMC WiiMC v1.2.0 is released. WiiMC is an open source media player for the Nintendo Wii. The GUI is powered by libwiigui.

1964mod v1.4.5 Beta v.5

EmuCR: 1964mod1964mod v1.4.5 Beta v.5 is released. 1964mod is a N64 emulator using the codes from original 1964 by Schibo & Rice. It is not created as a replacement to the original 1964 emulator. Hopefully, its enhancement will benefit people who loves the original 1964. 1964mod is currently at an early stage of experimentation & development. It is used as a learning platform to improve my programming knowledge and skills.

EmuCR: MESSMESS SVN r12799 is released. MESS(Multi Emulator Super System) is an open source emulator which emulates a large variety of different systems. MESS is a source-available project which documents the hardware for a wide variety of (mostly vintage) computers, video game consoles, and calculators through software emulation, as MAME does for arcade games. As a nice side effect to this documentation, MESS allows software and games for these hardware platforms to be run on modern PCs.

PCSX2 SVN r4912

EmuCR:PS2 emulatorPCSX2 SVN r4912 is released. PCSX2 is an open source PlayStation 2 (PS2) emulator for the Microsoft Windows and Linux operating systems. With the most recent versions, many PS2 games are playable (although speed limitations have made play-to-completion tests for many games impractical), and several games are claimed to have full functionality.

Fceux SVN r2226

EmuCR:FceuxFceux SVN r2226 is released. FCEUX is a cross platform, NTSC and PAL Famicom/NES emulator that is an evolution of the original FCE Ultra emulator. Over time FCE Ultra had separated into many separate branches. The concept behind FCEUX is to merge elements from FCE Ultra, FCEU rerecording, FCEUXD, FCEUXDSP, and FCEU-mm into a single branch of FCEU. As the X implies, it is an all-encompassing FCEU emulator that gives the best of all worlds for the general player, the ROM-hacking community, and the Tool-Assisted Speedrun Community.

EmuCR:DolphinDolphin Git 3.0-77 is released. This is the trunk of Dolphin Project. Dolphin is the first Gamecube emulator able to run commercial games! Dolphin is a great Gamecube(NGC) and Wii emulator. It has a partial Wii support and plays most Gamecube games. Dolphin has been changed SVN to Git recently.
