EmuCR:FceuxFceux SVN r2247 is released. FCEUX is a cross platform, NTSC and PAL Famicom/NES emulator that is an evolution of the original FCE Ultra emulator. Over time FCE Ultra had separated into many separate branches. The concept behind FCEUX is to merge elements from FCE Ultra, FCEU rerecording, FCEUXD, FCEUXDSP, and FCEU-mm into a single branch of FCEU. As the X implies, it is an all-encompassing FCEU emulator that gives the best of all worlds for the general player, the ROM-hacking community, and the Tool-Assisted Speedrun Community.

FBANext is a native port on the Xbox 360 Platform. A port to the PS3 console is currently underway. The goal is to have one source repository for both systems.

Altirra 2.0 Test 41

EmuCR:AltirraAltirra 2.0 Test 41 is released. Altirra is an Atari 8 bit Emulator on the Windows/DOS platform. Altirra emulates several models of the 8-bit Atari computers. This includes the the 800, 800XL, and 130XE versions. It has a lot of options, and compatibility is decent especially given the emulator's early stages. It also supports some copy protected games properly in emulation.

GameBoy Online (2011/09/28)

EmuCR: GameBoy OnlineGameBoy Online (2011/09/28) is released. GameBoy Online is a Game Boy and GameBoy Color emulator written in Javascript. It strives to be efficient and try to have a perfect compatibility. Currently the execution speed is not optimal even on browsers. For example on Chrome, which is nevertheless deemed to run Javascript faster on a PC running Windows 7 64-bit version with a double heart 2 CPUs at 2.2 GHz, games run at normal speed but almost skipping some frames.

EmuCR: MESSMESS SVN r12956 is released. MESS(Multi Emulator Super System) is an open source emulator which emulates a large variety of different systems. MESS is a source-available project which documents the hardware for a wide variety of (mostly vintage) computers, video game consoles, and calculators through software emulation, as MAME does for arcade games. As a nice side effect to this documentation, MESS allows software and games for these hardware platforms to be run on modern PCs.

EmuCR:MameUIMAMELOAD TNG Beta u48 is released. MAMELOAD TNG is a Frontend GUI for MAME. ML has pretty much all of the features that MAMELOAD had in the DOS days, but it attempts to be functional and fast with low memory usage. This program was always designed to simply be thrown in the MAME folder and executed. Since ML supports most command-line triggers - a MAME.ini is not required. It assumes you have a basic knowledge of MAME including a decent working knowledge of how to adjust your settings via MAME's command-line and .INI file.
