GBA.emu v1.4.29

EmuCR: GBA.emuGBA.emu v1.4.29 is released. Emulate the classic Gameboy Advance (GBA) hand-held on your Android device. Gameboy Advance emulator based on VBA-M r1097 (GPL), designed and tested on the Xoom, Galaxy S2, and Xperia Play, but works on many devices with similar specs. I have made a number of custom optimizations to increase speed while maintaining VBA-M's excellent compatibility and audio quality. You should have at least a 1GHz CPU for best results.

GBA.emu Features include:
* High-level BIOS emulation, no BIOS file needed
* Backup memory and save state support, auto-save and ten manual slots for save states. State files are interchangeable with the PC version of VBA-M.
* Supports games in .gba format, optionally in .zip files
* Configurable on-screen multi-touch controls & keyboard support (up to 4 touches supported at once), and an Xperia Play optimized button layout
* Wiimote + Classic Controller, iControlPad, and Zeemote JS1 support (no need to purchase a separate app, see website for full instructions)
* Portrait/Landscape auto-orientation support

  1. 4 Euros which no VBA-M dev ever asked for anyway. Explain again how it's a rip-off? Who exactly is losing out here?

    1. This is sadly common to charge for emulators on Android and other phone based platforms.

    1. It's not just a straight port though. The dev puts a lot of his own effort in to optimisation, support and updates, plus a high quality frontend with lots of Android-specific options. I see no problem with him charging a small amount for that extra work.

    2. keep lying to yourself the code was not make by him at all, imagine if i ask for money for byuu snes emulator, because i ported the thing to android, and i claim, i change it enough that is not the same, when in reality is tha same fucking code, and charge for money for something i didnt make in the first place, see the thing here.

    3. No, that's not what I said at all. I know this app contains the VBA-M code, wrapped up in an Android frontend. I also know the author has put lots of effort into the custom frontend, which is his own code, so why can't he charge for that? Your argument seems to be that because the app contains some code which was released for free, the whole app has to be free? Nonsense.

    4. Without the emulator code your frontend will be useless, the problem here sir and you obviously dont undertand, because you dont have more than 2 cell's in your brain,is that the main reason for your front end to exist is the emulator code from VBA-M, that im sure you didnt ask for permission to use in the first place, what about i grab your code for the front end,use it in my port of snes9x start asked for money, keep lying to yourself what you are doing is pure thievery.

  3. While that may be the case, it would have been common courtesy to at least be formally told of said port.

The porter did not even do, except me finding out on a emulator site where everyone wishes me death.

Me working on VBA-M was a mistake, me doing Glide64 work was a mistake, a lot of things were mistakes. None of which will be happening again.

    1. Oh you must mean the same 'common courtesy' you showed when harrassing the author on Twitter with 'Why the hell wasn't I informed about this port. And where is my cut?', before you knew the facts about him sharing the code on google.

And you wonder why people don't get on with you much.

  4. the matter has since been resolved so you people can argue among yourselves.
