This emulator born as a proof of concept of an emulator made in D. Now it's getting more and more compatible with homebrew, and gaining in features and speed. The emulator was based in it's first version on great Noxa's C# pspplayer emulator.

UME v0.147u2

EmuCR: UME UME v0.147u2 is released. UME (Universal Machine Emulator) combines the features of MAME and MESS into a single multi-purpose emulator. The project represents a natural course of development for the emulators which already share large amounts of code and is part of an ongoing effort to unify development efforts and provide a single emulation platform for users and developers alike.

Gekko Git (2012/10/31)

EmuCR: GekkoGekko Git (2012/10/31) is compiled. Gekko is an open source great Gamecube(NGC) emulator. Gekko is an experimental Nintendo GameCube (NGC) emulator started in 2006 by ShizZy and Lightning. It features a very advanced 32-bit dynamic recompiler and its own OpenGL graphics core, and is capable of booting many commercical titles.

renameSET.dat v0.147u2

renameSET.dat v0.147u2 is released. This project came about as a result of the continuous changes that mamedevs provide the names of the sets out whenever a new version of the executable. The reasons for these changes are manifold: correction of previous errors, addition of new games with similar names, etc.. By the time the project has expanded by collecting not only changes the name of the sets but also a kind of statistical data-base.

MAMErenSET v2.00

MAMErenSET v2.00 is released. Now available, thanks to Guy Peters, the first program that uses my renameSET.dat (version ". Ini") to re-order your set of images, renaming and deleting files, according to the changes to every MAME output are made. It's simple: download the file below, unzip and copy to the destination folder the latest renameSET. Start the program and indicate which version and from the directory containing the files to be processed. In this first version, you can specify only one folder at a time (which will be stored and recalled the next time you restart the program). Now, pressing "RUN" the program will do the necessary work and without using any dat files. I hope this new utility brings some advantages to all users of the MAME complete with all support files.

EmuCR: BizHawkBizHawk SVN r3596 is compiled. BizHawk is a A multi-system emulator written in C#. BizHawk provides nice features for casual gamers such as full screen, and joypad support in addition to full rerecording and debugging tools for all system cores.

MAME SVN r18793

MAMEMAME SVN r18793 is compiled. MAME stands for Multiple Arcade Machine Emulator. When used in conjunction with images of the original arcade game's ROM and disk data, MAME attempts to reproduce that game as faithfully as possible on a more modern general-purpose computer. MAME can currently emulate several thousand different classic arcade video games from the late 1970s through the modern era.

NESICIDE v.16

EmuCR: MameUIHiScoreNESICIDE v.16 is released. NESICIDE is an Integrated Development Environment for the 8-bit Nintendo Entertainment System (NES). NESICIDE is a NES development application written with MFC and works only on Windows. The goal of NESICIDE2 is to bring this application into the modern age; it will support all 3 major platforms, as well as feature an easier to use interface. It will also have a community element that will allow users to share code, multimedia, and even entire projects/games. This is a new project and much is left to be done.

EmuCR: MESSMESS SVN r18792 is compiled. MESS(Multi Emulator Super System) is an open source emulator which emulates a large variety of different systems. MESS is a source-available project which documents the hardware for a wide variety of (mostly vintage) computers, video game consoles, and calculators through software emulation, as MAME does for arcade games. As a nice side effect to this documentation, MESS allows software and games for these hardware platforms to be run on modern PCs.

MameUI [formerly Mame32] is the GUI version of the Multiple Arcade Machine Emulator, a program which seeks to document the internal hardware and code of all arcade games. Originally authored in 1997 by Chris Kirmse, it was the first port of Mame™ to the Windows platform.
