The emulator is focused on readability of source code, but nevertheless it has good compatibility. A lot of effort has gone into this in order to follow OOP and keep it as simple as possible.

Fceux SVN r3078

EmuCR:FceuxFceux SVN r3078 is compiled. FCEUX is a cross platform, NTSC and PAL Famicom/NES emulator that is an evolution of the original FCE Ultra emulator. Over time FCE Ultra had separated into many separate branches. The concept behind FCEUX is to merge elements from FCE Ultra, FCEU rerecording, FCEUXD, FCEUXDSP, and FCEU-mm into a single branch of FCEU. As the X implies, it is an all-encompassing FCEU emulator that gives the best of all worlds for the general player, the ROM-hacking community, and the Tool-Assisted Speedrun Community.

EmuCR: BizHawkBizHawk SVN r7605 is compiled. BizHawk is a A multi-system emulator written in C#. BizHawk provides nice features for casual gamers such as full screen, and joypad support in addition to full rerecording and debugging tools for all system cores.

MAME SVN r31666

MAMEMAME SVN r31666 is compiled. MAME stands for Multiple Arcade Machine Emulator. When used in conjunction with images of the original arcade game's ROM and disk data, MAME attempts to reproduce that game as faithfully as possible on a more modern general-purpose computer. MAME can currently emulate several thousand different classic arcade video games from the late 1970s through the modern era.

MESS SVN r31668

EmuCR: MESSMESS SVN r31668 is compiled. MESS(Multi Emulator Super System) is an open source emulator which emulates a large variety of different systems. MESS is a source-available project which documents the hardware for a wide variety of (mostly vintage) computers, video game consoles, and calculators through software emulation, as MAME does for arcade games. As a nice side effect to this documentation, MESS allows software and games for these hardware platforms to be run on modern PCs.

EmuCR: DolphinDolphin Git 4.0-2593 is compiled. This is the trunk of Dolphin Project. Dolphin is the first Gamecube emulator able to run commercial games! Dolphin is a Gamecube, Wii and Triforce (the arcade machine based on the Gamecube) emulator which supports many extra features and abilities not present on the original consoles. It has a partial Wii support and plays most Gamecube games.

EmuCR: RiceVideoRiceVideo Git 2014/08/16) is compiled. RiceVideo is an open source video graphic plugin for N64 emulators. All windows-based emulators with plugin support (1964, Project64, Mupen64plus).

QMC2 SVN r6170

EmuCR: QMC2QMC2 SVN r6170 is compiled. QMC2 is a good GUI for MAME & MESS. QMC2 (M.A.M.E. Catalog / Launcher II) is the successor of one of the first XMAME/MESS GUI frontends available, QMamecat (derived from MAMECAT, which was text-only). QMC2 has been rebuilt from scratch as a Qt 4 project. Parts of the design and code were inspired by its predecessor. The new design was made as flexible as possible to minimize dependencies from frontend- and CLI-related MAME changes, which was a major deficiency of QMamecat. QMC2 uses a template-based MAME configuration scheme, which can easily be enhanced with additional command line options (defined in an XML template file).

GBA.js Git (2014/08/16)

EmuCR: GBA.jsGBA.js Git (2014/08/16) is released. Jeffrey Pfau released a new GameBoy Advance emulator. The project began last July. The first prototype took him five weeks. But it has worked for several weeks and several hours a day online prior to the first public version. The program runs on JavaScript. It is available online and works in a modern web browser. It runs on Chrome 20, Safari 6.0, Firefox 15 + (without sound) or Opera 12. It should also run on Internet Explorer 10. Firefox and Opera are particularly slow, it is better to use Safari or Chrome.
