MESS is a source-available project which documents the hardware for a wide variety of (mostly vintage) computers, video game consoles, and calculators through software emulation, as MAME does for arcade games. As a nice side effect to this documentation, MESS allows software and games for these hardware platforms to be run on modern PCs.

MAME Git (2015/02/04)

MAMEMAME Git (2015/02/04) is compiled. MAME stands for Multiple Arcade Machine Emulator. News: David Haywood's Homepage - Love before Loop (2015/02/04)

Manuel Assoni dumped a Korean game for which there was previously very little information about online.

The game is called ‘PuzzLove’ and it’s by Para (Paradise of Amusement) so it slotted into the driver we have for their other game (Silver Millennium) however there were some graphical errors with the sprites (wrong sizes, flickering). The Silver Millennium hardware is one of the many Korean hardware types using Tumble Pop style sprites as a base so I was a little surprised to see sprite glitches.

Jpcsp SVN r3697

EmuCR:JPcspJpcsp SVN r3697 is compiled. JPCSP is the most advanced PlayStation Portable(PSP) emulator, allowing you to play your PSP games on a PC. Even though Jpcsp is written in Java, it can already reach 100% PSP speed on a lot of commercial games... and the emulator performance is constantly increasing. Jpcsp takes full advantage of dual-core processors, matching the PSP dual-core architecture. Even a quad-core can give a small performance improvement by leaving free CPU cores for the Java JIT Compiler and the graphics cache.
