Cxbx Reloaded Git (2017/11/18) is compiled. Cxbx-Reloaded is an emulator for running Microsoft Xbox (and eventually, Chihiro) games on Microsoft Windows. The project began life as a fork of Cxbx with added 64-bit support. Work is currently underway to backport some of the improvements from Dxbx. Cxbx-Reloaded is still pretty unstable, don't expect it to run much at this point.

DeSmuME supports save states, the ability to increase the size of the screen and it supports filters to improve image quality. DeSmuME also supports microphone use on Windows and Linux ports, as well as direct video and audio recording. The emulator also features a built-in movie recorder.

Cogwheel v1.0.4.0

Cogwheel v1.0.4.0 is released.Cogwheel ia a software emulator primarily for 8-bit Sega hardware, such as the Sega Master System, Sega Game Gear and SG-1000. The ColecoVision is also supported.The project uses a modular design based around a Z80 core emulator class library. The rest of the Sega-specific emulation is implemented in another class library, and the user interface is implemented as a separate application. This would allow the main emulator to be easily adapted to different interfaces.The code is written in C# 3.0 (targetting .NET 2.0). The user interface uses Windows Forms, with SlimDX being used to render the graphical output to the form as quickly as possible.

CemUI v2.3.2 is released. CemUI is a Cemu frontend. CemUI is a simplistic, open source launcher "hub" for the Cemu WiiU emulator that stores your Cemu games in a nice easy-to-access fashion, developed and maintained by RedDucks and MrIlliteracy. CemUI is still in heavy development and may be unstable at times (mainly when using developer builds). There are many features planned not yet implemented.

PicoDrive v1.91.1 (2017/11/17) is released. PicoDrive is yet another Megadrive / Genesis / Sega CD / Mega CD / 32X / SMS emulator, which was written having ARM-based handheld devices in mind (such as smartphones and handheld consoles like GP2X and Pandora), but also runs on non-ARM little-endian hardware too. The emulator is heavily optimized for ARM, features assembly cores for 68k, Z80 and VDP chip emulation, also has dynamic recompilers for SH2 and SSP16 (for 32X and SVP emulation). It was started by Dave (aka fdave, finalburn author) as basic Genesis/Megadrive emulator for Pocket PC, then taken over and expanded by notaz.

QEMU v2.11.0-RC1

QEMU v2.11.0-RC1 is released. QEMU is a generic and open source machine emulator and virtualizer.When used as a machine emulator, QEMU can run OSes and programs made for one machine (e.g. an ARM board) on a different machine (e.g. your own PC). By using dynamic translation, it achieves very good performances.When used as a virtualizer, QEMU achieves near native performances by executing the guest code directly on the host CPU. A host driver called the QEMU accelerator (also known as KQEMU) is needed in this case. The virtualizer mode requires that both the host and guest machine use x86 compatible processors.
