PCSX2 Git (2018/03/28)

EmuCR: PCSX2PCSX2 Git (2018/03/28) is compiled. PCSX2 is an open source PlayStation 2 (PS2) emulator for the Microsoft Windows and Linux operating systems. With the most recent versions, many PS2 games are playable (although speed limitations have made play-to-completion tests for many games impractical), and several games are claimed to have full functionality.

Cxbx Reloaded Git (2018/03/28)

EmuCR:Xbox EmulatorsCxbx Reloaded Git (2018/03/28) is compiled. Cxbx-Reloaded is an emulator for running Microsoft Xbox (and eventually, Chihiro) games on Microsoft Windows. The project began life as a fork of Cxbx with added 64-bit support. Work is currently underway to backport some of the improvements from Dxbx. Cxbx-Reloaded is still pretty unstable, don't expect it to run much at this point.

rpcs3 Git (2018/03/28)

EmuCR: rpcs3 rpcs3 Git (2018/03/28) is compiled. RPCS3 is an open-source Sony PlayStation 3 emulator and debugger written in C++ for Windows and Linux. The emulator has been in development since early 2011 and currently supports modern DirectX 12, Vulkan and OpenGL renderers. The emulator is capable of booting and playing a decent amount of commercial games and PlayStation 3 SDK samples. Many more titles are also becoming playable with future development by contributors.

yuzu Git (2018/03/28)

EmuCR: yuzuyuzu Git (2018/03/28) is complied. yuzu is a work-in-progress Nintendo Switch emulator. yuzu is an open-source project, licensed under the GPLv2 (or any later version). yuzu has been designed with portability in mind, with builds available for Windows, Linux, and macOS. The project was started in spring of 2017 by bunnei, one of the original authors of the popular Citra 3DS emulator, to experiment with and research the Nintendo Switch. Due to the similarities between Switch and 3DS, yuzu was developed as a fork of Citra. This means that it uses the same project architecture, and both emulators benefit from shared improvements. During the early months of development, work was done in private, and progress was slow. However, as Switch reverse-engineering and homebrew development became popular, work on yuzu began to take off as well.

Citra Git (2018/03/28)

EmuCR: CitraCitra Git (2018/03/28) is released. This is the trunk of Citra Project. Citra is an experimental open-source Nintendo 3DS emulator/debugger written in C++. At this time, it only emulates a very small subset of 3DS hardware, and therefore is only useful for booting/debugging very simple homebrew demos. Citra is licensed under the GPLv2. Refer to the license.txt file included.

Reicast Git (2018/03/28)

EmuCR: reicastReicast Git (2018/03/28) is compiled. reicast is a multi-platform Dreamcast emulator. The project is currently in Alpha, usability, performance and stability issues are to be expected. Cortex-A9 dualcore, 1ghz+ is the minimum hardware for decent speeds.

PPSSPP Git (2018/03/28)

EmuCR: PPSSPPPPSSPP Git (2018/03/28) is compiled. PPSSPP is a fast and portable PSP emulator for Android, Windows, Mac, and Linux, written in C++.

Dolphin Git 5.0-6766

EmuCR: DolphinDolphin Git 5.0-6766 is compiled. This is the trunk of Dolphin Project. Dolphin is the first Gamecube emulator able to run commercial games! Dolphin is a Gamecube, Wii and Triforce (the arcade machine based on the Gamecube) emulator which supports many extra features and abilities not present on the original consoles. It has a partial Wii support and plays most Gamecube games.

Stella Git (2018/03/28)

EmuCR: StellaStella Git (2018/03/28) is compiled. Stella is a multi-platform Atari 2600 VCS emulator. The Atari 2600 Video Computer System (VCS), introduced in 1977, was the most popular home video game system of the early 1980's. BizHawk Git (2017/03/28)

EmuCR: BizHawkBizHawk Git (2017/03/28) is compiled. BizHawk is a A multi-system emulator written in C#. BizHawk provides nice features for casual gamers such as full screen, and joypad support in addition to full rerecording and debugging tools for all system cores.

mGBA Git (2018/03/28)

EmuCR: mGBAmGBA Git (2018/03/28) is compiled. mGBA is a new emulator for running Game Boy Advance games. It aims to be faster and more accurate than many existing Game Boy Advance emulators, as well as adding features that other emulators lack.

Raine v0.64.15

RaineRaine v0.64.15 is released. RAINE is an Emulator for Arcade games. Raine is a M68000 and M68020 arcade game emulator. Raine emulates some M68000 and M68020 arcade games and is mainly focused on Taito and Jaleco games hardware. It started as an experiment with the Rainbow Islands romset, dumped by Aracorn/Romlist. Raine can emulate many nice games now, and new games (previously unemulated) are appearing weekly.

HalfNES v0.62

EmuCR: HalfNESHalfNES HalfNES v0.62 is released. HalfNES is an open-source emulator for the Nintendo Entertainment System, written in Java. Currently, it only runs as a standalone Java SE application.

fMSX v5.3

EmuCR: fMSXfMSX v5.3 is released. fMSX is a program that emulates MSX, MSX2, and MSX2+ 8bit home computers. It runs MSX/MSX2/MSX2+ software on many different platforms including Windows, Android, Symbian, MacOS, Unix, MSDOS, AmigaOS, etc. I started developing fMSX in 1993 when there were only two other MSX emulators available, both exclusively for MSDOS. From the very beginning, I developed fMSX as a portable program able to run on many different computers. The initial development, for example, was done on DEC Alpha workstations running Unix. Since then, fMSX has seen quite a lot of updates and been ported to many systems. It is still being developed, although not as actively as before because most features are pretty much complete now.

Emma 02 v1.26

EmuCR: Emma 02Emma 02 v1.26 is released. Emma 02 is an emulator for the relatively unknown COMX-35 computers from the early 80s. Emma 02 runs on Windows XP, Vista and Windows 7.

EmuCR: MESSMESSUI v0.196 is released. MESSUI is a unoffical builds of MESS with NEWUI. MESS is an open source project which documents the hardware for a wide variety of (mostly vintage) computers, video game consoles, and calculators through software emulation, as MAME does for arcade games. As a nice side effect to this documentation, MESS allows software and games for these hardware platforms to be run on modern PCs.

HBMAME v0.196

EmuCR: HBMAMEHBMAME v0.196 is released. HBMAME (HomeBrew MAME) is a derivate of MAME, and contains various hacks and homebrews that are not included in MAME. It is based on the latest MAME source from SVN at the time of release.

WinVICE SVN r34638

EmuCR: SDLVICE WinVICE SVN r34638 is compiled. WinVICE is a program that executes programs intended for the old 8-bit computers. The current version emulates the C64, the C128, the VIC20, all the PET models (except the SuperPET 9000, which is out of line anyway), the PLUS4 and the CBM-II (aka C610).

PinballX v2.67

EmuCR: PinballXPinballX v2.67 is released. PinballX is a free digital pinball front end designed for digital pinball cabinets developed by the author of GameEx. It is compatible with HyperPin media and databases. Credit to Bill E for creating the first digital pinball front end publicy available HyperPin.

GameEx v15.21

EmuCR:GameEx GameEx v15.21 is released. GameEx is a graphical DirectX based front-end for MAME, Zinc, Daphne, PC Games, and all command line based game emulators, along with being a good Home Theatre PC solution. It also makes a good CarPC and touchscreen frontend. The original goal was for it to be used on Windows XP Media Center and Arcade Cabinets although it will run on any version of Windows 98, ME, 2000, XP and Vista. EmuCR: SDLMAMESDLMAME v0.196 is released. SDLMAME is a port of the popular MAME™ emulator to the SDL library. It runs on many different platforms, including both 32- and 64-bit Linux.

Mameinfo.dat v0.196 is released. detailed mame game information (including version added, number of players, game status, cpu/audio chips, display info and maws hall of fame ratings). Provides Recommended Games for GameEx.

EmuTos CVS (2018/03/27)

EmuCR: EmuTosEmuTos CVS (2018/03/27) is released. EmuTos is a GEMDOS compatible operating system for Atari ST series computers. It is made from Digital Research's GPLed original sources and is a free and open source replacement for common TOS images for Atari ST emulators.
