SSF PreviewVer R2

EmuCR:SS EmulatorsSSF PreviewVer R2 is released. SSF is a Sega Saturn emulator for Windows systems using DirectX 9.0b. The current version claims near-complete implementation of the Sega Saturn hardware (not counting emulation bugs), and can emulate the Saturn based Sega Titan Video arcade hardware too. As with most emulators, CDs or disc images are not included and have to be owned separately. The BIOS is also not included; as of 0.07 Beta R3, games run without the BIOS however. The usage of BIOS files is optional but recommended for better compatibility, and needed for tasks such as management of the contents of the internal memory of the Sega Saturn, or setting the system clock.

  2. Whoa there's an Android port of this!
But the readme is in Japanese and I tried the apk on my phone and don't know what to do plus I can't choose any of the options in the black screen...

  3. ugh i have never seen the point of this emulator, as ps1 is better looking for starters and then is way easier to use and play games and more games and then the same games that play better etc etc... this has to be for those die hard saturn fans who just play fighter games that are the biggest attraction for this console. But in this knowing all the while u could play the same game that looks better on model2 emulator for ya virtua fighters and cops etc..(all you are doing is playing bastardised versions of the real thing) there is nothing else about it that is better than ps1 and ePSXe of psxfin or 205 or whatever.unfortunately this lies in the DC category of weaker versions rather than the proper arcade versions. you only need supermodel emu for this which is 10 times better looking in 4k and better cos simply they are the real thing and not crappy console versions. Dc sonic adventure? no GC version os also better and cleaner to play than DC emu. but i digress 🤣

    1. Sega Saturn hardware actually blows away the PS1. This is a known fact that you clearly don't know of.

The only reason the PS1 did better was because developers said although it blew away the PS1, the development tools were unnecessarily difficult to use.

You're spouting off a lot of BS LMAO

  5. The only problem I forgot to mention is that scanlines in full screen are messed up, this was an issue in most of the test versions as well...if anyone had found a solution to this it would be great!
