A couple of weeks ago, I started a new driver with Grull Osgo for a very rare IGS platform.
The involved game is "Five Clown", and is running in a dual 6502 CPU + AY8910 + OKIM6295 system. Main program, graphics and sound samples are encrypted.
Fortunately, I managed to get the proper decryption algorithm for each part. The sound system is tied to quad and octal-latch IC's, so is not mapped to the CPU directly...
Except for some sound related misterious writes, that need to be figured out, the game is working properly. Here some snaps:
