ParaJVE v0.7.0 is released. ParaJVE is an advanced emulator for the GCE Vectrex game console (created in 1982 by General Consumer Electric), written in Java 1.5. Its development started in early 2006, and the emulation is now mature enough to deliver a rendering close to the real machine, for you to enjoy most of the original games set (as well as some extra homebrew roms).

Game Categories Light v1.2 for 6.20 TN

Game Categories Light v1.2 for 6.20 TN is released. Game Categories Light is the successor to Game Categories Revised. It aims to provide a simple and well integrated category feature for 6.20 TN users, by applying the most hackish amount of patches this plugin ever had. It extends the original foldering feature (which is only capable of foldering everything by it's expiration date). A 'By Category' feature is introduced in to the options, and it is defaulted to whenever you enter the game menu. An 'Uncategorized' feature shows up for any uncategorized games/homebrew. As a nifty extra, it shows the type of game/homebrew it is, and it's current firmware limitations, as a subtitle.

PCSX4ALL v2 is released. PCSX4ALL is a port of PCSX Reloaded Playstation1 emulator for GameParkHoldings WIZ/CAANOO handheld consoles by Franxis and Chui. The main change is extensive use of new ARMv5 assembler code and a new GPU (Una-i based) and SPU.

Mupen64Plus is a plugin-based N64 emulator for Linux which is capable of accurately playing many games. Included are four MIPS R4300 CPU emulators, with dynamic recompilers for 32-bit x86 and 64-bit amd64 systems, and necessary plugins for audio, graphical rendering (RDP), signal co-processor (RSP), and input. There are 3 OpenGL video plugins included: glN64, RiceVideoLinux, and Glide64.

MESS SVN r9844

MESS SVN r9844 is released. MESS(Multi Emulator Super System) is an open source emulator which emulates a large variety of different systems. MESS is a source-available project which documents the hardware for a wide variety of (mostly vintage) computers, video game consoles, and calculators through software emulation, as MAME does for arcade games. As a nice side effect to this documentation, MESS allows software and games for these hardware platforms to be run on modern PCs.
