emuze v0.59.0 is released. emuze is a graphical frontend for various emulators developed for Windows, Linux and Steam Deck.

emuze Changelog:
As you might now i love the simplicity of console gaming. You start the game and it just works. With emulation more often then not you have to provide more then just the game. You need things like a BIOS file, firmware or key files. I wanted to assist with this for a long time. With this release you can choose a folder where you can put your BIOS files and emuze will pick them up and configure the Emulators. Of course emuze will tell you if a required file is missing. On top of this emuze comes bundled with open source BIOS implementations for PlayStation, Game Boy Advance and NEO GEO. Of course you can use official BIOS files instead if you need by putting them in the BIOS folder. Sadly i was not able to achieve the same result for more complicated systems like PlayStation 3, WiiU and Switch. These systems require a installation of a firmware. I will try to tackle these in a future release.
Besides this i bundled and pre configured ScummVM and DOSBox Pure Unleashed.
Therefore the day is finally here: All 35 supported systems are pre configured and bundled now 🥳
No matter which system you want to play all connected gamepads will be configured for the specific Emulator and should just work without further tinkering.
In the past i already bundled and pre configured RMG as an alternative to ares to play N64 if your device is not capable to run ares N64 with 100% speed.
For similar reasons i bundled and pre configured Eden as an alternative to Ryujinx.
With this release you can activate RMG and Eden via Settings -> Advanced.

❗️ Breaking Changes
removed DOSBox Staging in favor of DOSBox Pure Unleashed
to support the mlc folder for WiiU, your games need to be in a subfolder "games"
because bios files are handled by emuze now, you have to put your bios files in a folder and set this folder under Settings -> General -> BIOS Path
