QMC2 SVN r3447

QMC2 SVN r3447 is released. QMC2 is a good GUI for MAME & MESS. QMC2(M.A.M.E. Catalog / Launcher II) is the successor of one of the first XMAME/MESS GUI frontends available, QMamecat (derived from MAMECAT, which was text-only). QMC2 has been rebuilt from scratch as a Qt 4 project. Parts of the design and code were inspired by its predecessor. The new design was made as flexible as possible to minimize dependencies from frontend- and CLI-related MAME changes, which was a major deficiency of QMamecat. QMC2 uses a template-based MAME configuration scheme, which can easily be enhanced with additional command line options (defined in an XML template file).

Pcejin SVN r205

Pcejin SVN r205 is released. Pcejin is a PC Engine / PCE CD-ROM / SuperGrafx Emulator. pcejin takes the accurate PCE emulation core in Mednafen and gives it a native Win32 interface and additional features. Mednafen-rr .mcm files can be loaded and converted with the Convert MCM menu item in the Tools menu, or the "Play Movie" hotkey. A mc2 file will be placed in the same directory as the mcm.

DeSmuME SVN r4172

DeSmuME SVN r4172 is released. DeSmuME is an open source Nintendo DS(NDS) emulator for Linux, Mac OS and Windows. DeSmuME supports save states, the ability to increase the size of the screen and it supports filters to improve image quality. DeSmuME also supports microphone use on Windows and Linux ports, as well as direct video and audio recording. The emulator also features a built-in movie recorder.

Bsnes-SX2 v006

Bsnes-SX2 v006 is released. Bsnes-SX2 (originally called Bsnes-Bsx) is a modified version of bsnes 0082 to improve the use of BS-X files, programs used by the X-Satellaview.

MESS SVN r14102

MESS SVN r14102 is released. MESS(Multi Emulator Super System) is an open source emulator which emulates a large variety of different systems. MESS is a source-available project which documents the hardware for a wide variety of (mostly vintage) computers, video game consoles, and calculators through software emulation, as MAME does for arcade games. As a nice side effect to this documentation, MESS allows software and games for these hardware platforms to be run on modern PCs.

PCSX2 SVN r5076

PCSX2 SVN r5076 is released. PCSX2 is an open source PlayStation 2 (PS2) emulator for the Microsoft Windows and Linux operating systems. With the most recent versions, many PS2 games are playable (although speed limitations have made play-to-completion tests for many games impractical), and several games are claimed to have full functionality.

Pantheon v0.400

Pantheon v0.400 is released. Pantheon is Windows desktop application with collection of games for video consoles and home computers from the past. The games are not the part of the application, instead they will be downloaded (with the game manual or review - if available) from the internet, after you activate the game. Downloaded files are stored on the local file system and will be available offline the next time you wish to play the game. Finally, the program file is loaded into the memory and executed inside the emulator. Current version has emulator of Atari 2600 with collection of 170 games, emulator of Atari 5200 with collection of 50 games and emulator of Atari 8-bit computers with collection of 26 games.

JACE 2012-01-19 is released. JACE is a java-based apple computer emulator. It is a faithful cycle-accurate emulation of an apple //e computer. The modular framework allows additional features to be swapped in without any massive rearchitecting of the codebase.
