PCSX2 Git (2018/10/16)

EmuCR: PCSX2PCSX2 Git (2018/10/16) is compiled. PCSX2 is an open source PlayStation 2 (PS2) emulator for the Microsoft Windows and Linux operating systems. With the most recent versions, many PS2 games are playable (although speed limitations have made play-to-completion tests for many games impractical), and several games are claimed to have full functionality.

Citra Git (2018/10/16)

EmuCR: CitraCitra Git (2018/10/15) is released. This is the trunk of Citra Project. Citra is an experimental open-source Nintendo 3DS emulator/debugger written in C++. At this time, it only emulates a very small subset of 3DS hardware, and therefore is only useful for booting/debugging very simple homebrew demos. Citra is licensed under the GPLv2. Refer to the license.txt file included.

yuzu Git (2018/10/16)

EmuCR: yuzuyuzu Git (2018/10/16) is complied. yuzu is a work-in-progress Nintendo Switch emulator. yuzu is an open-source project, licensed under the GPLv2 (or any later version). yuzu has been designed with portability in mind, with builds available for Windows, Linux, and macOS. The project was started in spring of 2017 by bunnei, one of the original authors of the popular Citra 3DS emulator, to experiment with and research the Nintendo Switch. Due to the similarities between Switch and 3DS, yuzu was developed as a fork of Citra. This means that it uses the same project architecture, and both emulators benefit from shared improvements. During the early months of development, work was done in private, and progress was slow. However, as Switch reverse-engineering and homebrew development became popular, work on yuzu began to take off as well.

Snes9x Git (2018/10/16)

EmuCR: Snes9xSnes9x Git (2018/10/16) is compiled. Snes9x is a portable, freeware Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES) emulator. It basically allows you to play most games designed for the SNES and Super Famicom Nintendo game systems on your PC or Workstation; which includes some real gems that were only ever released in Japan. Snes9x is the result of well over three years worth of part-time hacking, coding, recoding, debugging, divorce, etc. (just kidding about the divorce bit). Snes9x is coded in C++, with three assembler CPU emulation cores on the i386 Linux and Windows ports.

Dolphin Git 5.0-8909

EmuCR: DolphinDolphin Git 5.0-8909 is compiled. This is the trunk of Dolphin Project. Dolphin is the first Gamecube emulator able to run commercial games! Dolphin is a Gamecube, Wii and Triforce (the arcade machine based on the Gamecube) emulator which supports many extra features and abilities not present on the original consoles. It has a partial Wii support and plays most Gamecube games.

Play! Git (2018/10/16)

EmuCR: Play!Play! Git (2018/10/16) is complied. Play! is an attempt at creating an emulator for the PlayStation 2 (PS2) console on the Windows platform. It is currently written in C/C++. It uses an instruction caching/recompilation scheme to achieve better performance while emulating the CPU.

PPSSPP Git (2018/10/16)

EmuCR: PPSSPPPPSSPP Git (2018/10/16) is compiled. PPSSPP is a fast and portable PSP emulator for Android, Windows, Mac, and Linux, written in C++.

m64p (2018/10/16)

m64p (2018/10/05) is released. m64p uses mupen64plus-gui, a brand new mupen64plus frontend written in Qt5. It supports all thing things you’d expect from a frontend (savestate management, pausing, screenshots, etc..). m64p comes bundled with GLideN64 for the graphics plugin. It should give you the best out-of-the-box experience available for N64 gaming.

MAME-NX Release 2.1

MAMEMAME-NX Release 2.1 is released. MAME 0.72 for the Nintendo Switch. Roms go into /roms subfolder. You need MAME 0.72 roms for this to work. Source code included.

jGameBase v0.68-3

jGameBase v0.68-3 is released. jGameBase is a Java port of GameBase, a fully-featured retro-gaming emulator frontend and game database utility (e.g. GB64 Collection of C64 games). It supports virtually any emulator for any system and has versatile database searching and filtering. There are databases for Apple II, Atari ST, Coleco ColecoVision, Commodore Amiga, Commodore C64, Commodore VIC20, Nintendo NES, Nintendo SNES, and Sinclair ZXSpectrum.

Z64K Beta (2018/10/17)

EmuCR: Z64K Z64K Beta (2018/10/17) is released. Pixel exact emulation of the Commodore 64, VIC 20 and Atari 2600 written entirely in Java. The emulators should run on any platform with an updated java runtime environment installed.

Classic99 v399.4

EmuCR:Classic99 Classic99 v399.4 is released. Classic99 is a freeware TI-99/4A emulator for Windows 9x.

WinVICE SVN r35605

EmuCR: SDLVICE WinVICE SVN r35605 is compiled. WinVICE is a program that executes programs intended for the old 8-bit computers. The current version emulates the C64, the C128, the VIC20, all the PET models (except the SuperPET 9000, which is out of line anyway), the PLUS4 and the CBM-II (aka C610).

LaunchBox v8.9

EmuCR: LaunchBox LaunchBox v8.9 is released. LaunchBox is a relatively easy to set up frontend for DOSBox. It has plenty of options and is very pleasing to the eyes.
