rpcs3 Git (2020/02/10)

EmuCR: rpcs3 rpcs3 Git (2020/02/10) is compiled. RPCS3 is an open-source Sony PlayStation 3 emulator and debugger written in C++ for Windows and Linux. The emulator has been in development since early 2011 and currently supports modern DirectX 12, Vulkan and OpenGL renderers. The emulator is capable of booting and playing a decent amount of commercial games and PlayStation 3 SDK samples. Many more titles are also becoming playable with future development by contributors.

Citra Git (2020/02/10)

EmuCR: CitraCitra Git (2020/02/10) is released. This is the trunk of Citra Project. Citra is an experimental open-source Nintendo 3DS emulator/debugger written in C++. At this time, it only emulates a very small subset of 3DS hardware, and therefore is only useful for booting/debugging very simple homebrew demos. Citra is licensed under the GPLv2. Refer to the license.txt file included.

Xenia Git (2020/02/10)

EmuCR: XeniaXenia Git (2020/02/10) is compiled. Xenia is an experimental emulator for the Xbox 360. It does not run games (yet).

Project64 Git (2020/02/10)

EmuCR: Project 64Project64 Git (2020/02/10) is compiled. Project 64 is a proprietary Nintendo 64 emulator for Windows. It employs a plug-in system that allows third-party software developers to create their own implementation of a specified component. Project64 allows the user to play Nintendo 64 games on a computer by reading ROM images, either dumped from the read-only memory of a Nintendo 64 cartridge or created directly on the computer as homebrew. Project64 started as an exercise by Jabo and zilmar in an attempt to see if they were capable of programming a Nintendo 64 emulator. It's open source now.

PCSX2 Git (2020/02/10)

EmuCR: PCSX2PCSX2 Git (2020/02/10) is compiled. PCSX2 is an open source PlayStation 2 (PS2) emulator for the Microsoft Windows and Linux operating systems. With the most recent versions, many PS2 games are playable (although speed limitations have made play-to-completion tests for many games impractical), and several games are claimed to have full functionality.

Vvctre v6.11.0 is released. Vvctre is a Nintendo 3DS emulator based on Citra.

DuckStation Git (2020/02/10)

DuckStation Git (2020/02/10) is complied. Fast-ish PlayStation 1 emulator for PC and Android.

NooDS Git (2020/02/10)

NooDS Git (2020/02/10) is complied. A (hopefully!) speedy NDS emulator. NooDS is available for Linux, macOS, Windows, and the Nintendo Switch. Automatic builds are provided; to use them, you'll need to install wxWidgets on Linux or macOS, or the latest Visual C++ runtime library on Windows. NooDS doesn't provide high-level emulation of the BIOS yet. To actually run games, you'll need BIOS files, named "bios7.bin" and "bios9.bin", and a firmware file, named "firmware.bin", placed in the same directory as the executable. On the Switch, you'll also need to have a ROM file named "rom.nds" in the directory, because there's no file browser yet.

bsnes-plus Git (2020/01/10)

EmuCR:bsnes Emulatorsbsnes-plus Git (2020/01/10) is complied. bsnes-plus (or bsnes+) is a fork of bsnes (based on bsnes-classic) intended to introduce some new features and improvements, mostly aimed at debugging. bsnes is an emulator for the Super Famicom and SNES video game systems. The purpose of the emulator is a bit different from other emulators: it focuses on accuracy, debugging functionality, and clean code.

FCE Ultra GX v3.4.4

EmuCR: FCE Ultra GXFCE Ultra GX v3.4.4 is released. FCE Ultra GX is a modified port of the FCE Ultra 0.98.12 Nintendo Entertainment system for x86 (Windows/Linux) PC's. With it you can play NES games on your Wii/GameCube(NGC). Version 2 is a complete rewrite based on code from SNES9x GX.

EmuCR: FB AlphaFB Neo Git (2020/02/10) is complied. FinalBurn Neo is an Emulator for Arcade Games & Select Consoles. It is based on the emulators FinalBurn and old versions of MAME.

EmuCR: DS4WindowsDS4Windows v2.0.9 is released. DS4Windows is a portable program that allows you to get the best experience while using a DualShock 4 on your PC. By emulating a Xbox 360 controller, many more games are accessible.

Dolphin Git 5.0-11663

EmuCR: DolphinDolphin Git 5.0-11663 is compiled. This is the trunk of Dolphin Project. Dolphin is the first Gamecube emulator able to run commercial games! Dolphin is a Gamecube, Wii and Triforce (the arcade machine based on the Gamecube) emulator which supports many extra features and abilities not present on the original consoles. It has a partial Wii support and plays most Gamecube games.

PPSSPP Git (2020/02/10)

EmuCR: PPSSPPPPSSPP Git (2020/02/10) is compiled. PPSSPP is a fast and portable PSP emulator for Android, Windows, Mac, and Linux, written in C++.

DOSBox SVN r4318

EmuCR: DOSBoxDOSBox SVN r4318 is released. DOSBox emulates an Intel x86 PC, complete with sound, graphics, mouse, joystick, modem, etc., necessary for running many old MS-DOS games that simply cannot be run on modern PCs and operating systems, such as Microsoft Windows XP, Windows Vista, Linux and FreeBSD. However, it is not restricted to running only games. In theory, any MS-DOS or PC-DOS (referred to commonly as "DOS") application should run in DOSBox, but the emphasis has been on getting DOS games to run smoothly, which means that communication, networking and printer support are still in early development.

NSFPlay Git (2020/02/10)

NSFPlay Git (2020/02/10) is compiled. NSFPlay is an NSF player for Windows and plugin for Winamp. It is a fork of the original program by Brezza, intended to provide support for more recent Windows operating systems, and improve its accuracy and utility.

mGBA Git (2020/02/10)

EmuCR: mGBAmGBA Git (2020/02/10) is compiled. mGBA is a new emulator for running Game Boy Advance games. It aims to be faster and more accurate than many existing Game Boy Advance emulators, as well as adding features that other emulators lack.

Mesen-S Git (2020/02/10)

EmuCR: Mesen-SMesen-S Git (2020/02/10) is compiled. Mesen-S is a cross-platform SNES emulator for Windows & Linux built in C++ and C#.

WinVICE SVN r37452

EmuCR: SDLVICE WinVICE SVN r37452 is released. WinVICE is a program that executes programs intended for the old 8-bit computers. The current version emulates the C64, the C128, the VIC20, all the PET models (except the SuperPET 9000, which is out of line anyway), the PLUS4 and the CBM-II (aka C610).

GameEx v16.23

EmuCR:GameEx GameEx v16.23 is released. GameEx is a graphical DirectX based front-end for MAME, Zinc, Daphne, PC Games, and all command line based game emulators, along with being a good Home Theatre PC solution. It also makes a good CarPC and touchscreen frontend. The original goal was for it to be used on Windows XP Media Center and Arcade Cabinets although it will run on any version of Windows 98, ME, 2000, XP and Vista. For just $17 (USD) you can too unlock the full potential of the front end.

NPlayers.ini v0.218

EmuCR: NPlayers.iniNPlayers.ini v0.218 is released. NPlayers.ini fills the "Players" column of your favourite MAME / SDLMAME frontend letting you know how many players the game supports and if it's simultaneous play or not. You'll find more info in the text file included in the zip archive.

OpenTTD v1.10.0-RC1

EmuCR: OpenTTDOpenTTD v1.10.0-RC1 is released. OpenTTD is an open source simulation game based upon the popular Microprose game "Transport Tycoon Deluxe", written by Chris Sawyer. It attempts to mimic the original game as closely as possible while extending it with new features.
