yuzu Git (2021/03/09)

EmuCR: yuzuyuzu Git (2021/03/09) is complied. yuzu is a work-in-progress Nintendo Switch emulator. yuzu is an open-source project, licensed under the GPLv2 (or any later version). yuzu has been designed with portability in mind, with builds available for Windows, Linux, and macOS. The project was started in spring of 2017 by bunnei, one of the original authors of the popular Citra 3DS emulator, to experiment with and research the Nintendo Switch. Due to the similarities between Switch and 3DS, yuzu was developed as a fork of Citra. This means that it uses the same project architecture, and both emulators benefit from sharead improvements. During the early months of development, work was done in private, and progress was slow. However, as Switch reverse-engineering and homebrew development became popular, work on yuzu began to take off as well.

Ryujinx Git (2021/03/09)

EmuCR: RyujinxRyujinx Git (2021/03/09) is complied. Ryujinx is an open source Nintendo Switch Emulator written in C# created by gdkchan. This emulator aims at providing good performance and accuracy, a friendly interface, and consistent builds. Ryujinx is currently available for Windows, Linux, and macOS.

rpcs3 Git (2021/03/09)

EmuCR: rpcs3 rpcs3 Git (2021/03/09) is compiled. RPCS3 is an open-source Sony PlayStation 3 emulator and debugger written in C++ for Windows and Linux. The emulator has been in development since early 2011 and currently supports modern DirectX 12, Vulkan and OpenGL renderers. The emulator is capable of booting and playing a decent amount of commercial games and PlayStation 3 SDK samples. Many more titles are also becoming playable with future development by contributors.

melonDS Git (2021/03/09)

EmuCR: melonDSmelonDS Git (2021/03/09) is complied. melonDS is an open source Nintendo DS(NDS) emulator. melonDS is part of a second wave of DS emulators. There are a few other emulator projects that are part of it, which you might have already heard of. Either way, check them out!

Vita3K Git (2021/03/09)

EmuCR: Vita3KVita3K Git (2021/03/09) is complied. Vita3K is an experimental PlayStation Vita emulator for Windows, Linux and macOS. The emulator currently runs a few homebrew programs in .vpk format. No commercial games are playable.

PCSX-Redux Git (2021/03/09)

EmuCR: PCSX-ReduxPCSX-Redux Git (2021/03/09) is complied. This is yet another fork of the Playstation Emulator, PCSX. While the work here is very much in progress, the goal is roughly the following: Bring the codebase to more up to date code standards. Get rid of the plugin system and create a single monolithic codebase that handles all aspects of the playstation emulation. Write everything on top of SDL/OpenGL3+/ImGui for portability and readability. Improve the debugging experience. Improve the rendering experience.

Play! Git (2021/03/09)

EmuCR: Play!Play! Git (2021/03/09) is complied. Play! is an attempt at creating an emulator for the PlayStation 2 (PS2) console on the Windows platform. It is currently written in C/C++. It uses an instruction caching/recompilation scheme to achieve better performance while emulating the CPU.

PPSSPP Git (2021/03/09)

EmuCR: PPSSPPPPSSPP Git (2021/03/09) is compiled. PPSSPP is a fast and portable PSP emulator for Android, Windows, Mac, and Linux, written in C++.

Flycast Git (2021/03/09)

EmuCR: Flycast Flycast Git (2021/03/09) is complied. Flycast is a multi-platform Sega Dreamcast, Naomi and Atomiswave emulator derived from reicast.

DuckStation Git (2021/03/09)

EmuCR: DuckStation DuckStation Git (2021/03/09) is complied. Fast-ish PlayStation 1 emulator for PC and Android.

FB Neo Git (2021/03/09)

EmuCR: FB AlphaFB Neo Git (2021/03/09) is complied. FinalBurn Neo is an Emulator for Arcade Games & Select Consoles. It is based on the emulators FinalBurn and old versions of MAME.

DOSBox SVN r4442

EmuCR: DOSBoxDOSBox SVN r4442 is released. DOSBox emulates an Intel x86 PC, complete with sound, graphics, mouse, joystick, modem, etc., necessary for running many old MS-DOS games that simply cannot be run on modern PCs and operating systems, such as Microsoft Windows XP, Windows Vista, Linux and FreeBSD. However, it is not restricted to running only games. In theory, any MS-DOS or PC-DOS (referred to commonly as "DOS") application should run in DOSBox, but the emphasis has been on getting DOS games to run smoothly, which means that communication, networking and printer support are still in early development.
