This emulator aims at providing good performance and accuracy, a friendly interface, and consistent builds. Ryujinx is currently available for Windows, Linux, and macOS.

yuzu Git (2022/03/28)

EmuCR: yuzuyuzu Git (2022/03/28) is compiled. yuzu is a work-in-progress Nintendo Switch emulator. yuzu is an open-source project, licensed under the GPLv2 (or any later version). yuzu has been designed with portability in mind, with builds available for Windows, Linux, and macOS. The project was started in spring of 2017 by bunnei, one of the original authors of the popular Citra 3DS emulator, to experiment with and research the Nintendo Switch. Due to the similarities between Switch and 3DS, yuzu was developed as a fork of Citra. This means that it uses the same project architecture, and both emulators benefit from sharead improvements. During the early months of development, work was done in private, and progress was slow. However, as Switch reverse-engineering and homebrew development became popular, work on yuzu began to take off as well.

rpcs3 Git (2022/03/28)

EmuCR: rpcs3 rpcs3 Git (2022/03/28) is compiled. RPCS3 is an open-source Sony PlayStation 3 emulator and debugger written in C++ for Windows and Linux. The emulator has been in development since early 2011 and currently supports modern DirectX 12, Vulkan and OpenGL renderers. The emulator is capable of booting and playing a decent amount of commercial games and PlayStation 3 SDK samples. Many more titles are also becoming playable with future development by contributors.

FB Neo Git (2022/03/28)

EmuCR: FB AlphaFB Neo Git (2022/03/28) is compiled. FinalBurn Neo is an Emulator for Arcade Games & Select Consoles. It is based on the emulators FinalBurn and old versions of MAME.

PCSX2 Git (2022/03/28)

EmuCR: PCSX2PCSX2 Git (2022/03/28) is compiled. PCSX2 is a free and open-source PlayStation 2 (PS2) emulator. Its purpose is to emulate the PS2's hardware, using a combination of MIPS CPU Interpreters, Recompilers and a Virtual Machine which manages hardware states and PS2 system memory. This allows you to play PS2 games on your PC, with many additional features and benefits. The PCSX2 project has been running for more than ten years. Past versions could only run a few public domain game demos, but newer versions can run most games at full speed, including popular titles such as Final Fantasy X and Devil May Cry 3.

Vita3K Git (2022/03/28)

EmuCR: Vita3KVita3K Git (2022/03/28) is compiled. Vita3K is an experimental PlayStation Vita emulator for Windows, Linux and macOS. The emulator currently runs a few homebrew programs in .vpk format. No commercial games are playable.

Xenia Git (2022/03/28)

EmuCR: XeniaXenia Git (2022/03/28) is compiled. Xenia is an experimental emulator for the Xbox 360. It does not run games (yet).

PCSX-Redux Git (2022/03/28)

EmuCR: PCSX-ReduxPCSX-Redux Git (2022/03/28) is compiled. This is yet another fork of the Playstation Emulator, PCSX. While the work here is very much in progress, the goal is roughly the following: Bring the codebase to more up to date code standards. Get rid of the plugin system and create a single monolithic codebase that handles all aspects of the playstation emulation. Write everything on top of SDL/OpenGL3+/ImGui for portability and readability. Improve the debugging experience. Improve the rendering experience.

Stella Git (2022/03/28)

EmuCR: StellaStella Git (2022/03/28) is compiled. Stella is a multi-platform Atari 2600 VCS emulator. The Atari 2600 Video Computer System (VCS), introduced in 1977, was the most popular home video game system of the early 1980's. Now you can enjoy all of your favorite Atari 2600 games on your PC thanks to Stella!

puNES Git (2022/03/28)

EmuCR: puNESpuNES Git (2022/03/28) is compiled. puNES is a NES emulator. Currently the program supports mappers 0, MMC1, UNROM, CNROM, and the sound is available. It uses the SDL libraries and it works on both Linux and Windows.

Play! Git (2022/03/28)

EmuCR: Play!Play! Git (2022/03/28) is compiled. Play! is an attempt at creating an emulator for the PlayStation 2 (PS2) console on the Windows platform. It is currently written in C/C++. It uses an instruction caching/recompilation scheme to achieve better performance while emulating the CPU.

NooDS Git (2022/03/28)

EmuCR: NooDSNooDS Git (2022/03/28) is compiled. A (hopefully!) speedy NDS emulator. NooDS is available for Linux, macOS, Windows, and the Nintendo Switch. Automatic builds are provided; to use them, you'll need to install wxWidgets on Linux or macOS, or the latest Visual C++ runtime library on Windows. NooDS doesn't provide high-level emulation of the BIOS yet. To actually run games, you'll need BIOS files, named "bios7.bin" and "bios9.bin", and a firmware file, named "firmware.bin", placed in the same directory as the executable. On the Switch, you'll also need to have a ROM file named "rom.nds" in the directory, because there's no file browser yet.

mGBA Git (2022/03/28)

EmuCR: mGBAmGBA Git (2022/03/28) is compiled. mGBA is a new emulator for running Game Boy Advance games. It aims to be faster and more accurate than many existing Game Boy Advance emulators, as well as adding features that other emulators lack.

Mesen-X Git (2022/03/28)

EmuCR: MesenMesen-X Git (2022/03/28) is compiled. Mesen X is a cross-platform (Windows & Linux) NES/Famicom emulator built in C++ and C#. This fork is meant to gather development efforts from different forks. Not under active development but pull requests are welcome.

EKA2L1 Git (2022/03/28)

EmuCR: EKA2L1 EKA2L1 Git (2022/03/28) is compiled. EKA2L1 is a Experimental Symbian OS emulator, written in C++ 17. The emulator currently emulates Symbian OS's EKA2 behavior (with planned EKA1 support), and reimplement most of its critical app servers. It can already boot many EKA2's apps and games, with EKA1 being worked on at the moment.

Dolphin Git 5.0-16193

EmuCR: DolphinDolphin Git 5.0-16193 is compiled. This is the trunk of Dolphin Project. Dolphin is the first Gamecube emulator able to run commercial games! Dolphin is a Gamecube, Wii and Triforce (the arcade machine based on the Gamecube) emulator which supports many extra features and abilities not present on the original consoles. It has a partial Wii support and plays most Gamecube games.

BizHawk Git (2022/03/28)

EmuCR: BizHawkBizHawk Git (2022/03/28) is compiled. BizHawk is a A multi-system emulator written in C#. BizHawk provides nice features for casual gamers such as full screen, and joypad support in addition to full rerecording and debugging tools for all system cores.

namDHC v1.06

namDHC v1.06 is released. namDHC is a windows frontend for CHDMAN. The program needs CHDMAN.exe in the same directory as namDHC.exe to run - Currently only versions "0.236", "0.237", "0.238", "0.239", "0.240" are supported.

NintendulatorNRS (2022/03/27)

NintendulatorNintendulatorNRS (2022/03/27) is released. NintendulatorNRS is a Famicom/NES (and its derivate such as the VRT chipsets) emulator for Windows. It is a fork of Nintendulator (by Quietust) maintained by NewRisingSun which offers an extremly wide compatibility.

SDLTRS v1.2.23

SDLTRS v1.1 is released. SDLTRS is a Radio Shack TRS-80 Model I/III/4/4P emulator for Macintosh OSX, Windows, and Linux. SDL(2)TRS is based on Tim Mann's excellent TRS-80 emulator xtrs and also has very low system requirements: it works on all platforms supported by the SDL library, even on machines with only a few hundred MHz of CPU speed.

BletchMAME v2.14

MAMEBletchMAME v2.14 is released. BletchMAME is a new experimental front end for MAME. Unlike existing front ends (which function as launchers, keeping MAME's internal UI), BletchMAME replaces the internal MAME UI with a more conventional point and click GUI to provide a friendlier experience in a number of areas (such as profiles, input configuration and a number of others). While BletchMAME is intended to support all machines supported by MAME, it should be particularly suitable to computer emulation.

EmuCR: DSP EmulatorDSP Emulator v0.20WIP7 (2022/03/27) is released. DSP Emulator is a new version of the ZX SPECTRUM +3, ZX Spectrum 128, ZX Spectrum 48, Arcade, Amstrad CPC 464, NES and Game Boy emulator.

QuickPlay v4.7.6

EmuCR: QuickPlayQuickPlay v4.7.6 is released. QuickPlay is a powerful universal emulator frontend, which has support for countless emulators and systems. QuickPlay is written in Delphi 2006 and is released under a BSD license which means its free AND you can take the source code and do whatever you want with it, as long as you leave our names in it somewhere.

EmuTos CVS (2022/03/27)

EmuCR: EmuTosEmuTos CVS (2022/03/27) is released. EmuTos is a GEMDOS compatible operating system for Atari ST series computers. It is made from Digital Research's GPLed original sources and is a free and open source replacement for common TOS images for Atari ST emulators.

WinVICE r42062

EmuCR: SDLVICE WinVICE r42062 is released. WinVICE is a program that executes programs intended for the old 8-bit computers. The current version emulates the C64, the C128, the VIC20, all the PET models (except the SuperPET 9000, which is out of line anyway), the PLUS4 and the CBM-II (aka C610).

Cxbx Reloaded (2022/03/28)

EmuCR:Xbox EmulatorsCxbx Reloaded (2022/03/28) is released. Cxbx-Reloaded is an emulator for running Microsoft Xbox (and eventually, Chihiro) games on Microsoft Windows. The project began life as a fork of Cxbx with added 64-bit support. Work is currently underway to backport some of the improvements from Dxbx. Cxbx-Reloaded is still pretty unstable, don't expect it to run much at this point.
