PCSX2 Git (2022/04/27)

EmuCR: PCSX2PCSX2 Git (2022/04/26) is compiled. PCSX2 is a free and open-source PlayStation 2 (PS2) emulator. Its purpose is to emulate the PS2's hardware, using a combination of MIPS CPU Interpreters, Recompilers and a Virtual Machine which manages hardware states and PS2 system memory. This allows you to play PS2 games on your PC, with many additional features and benefits. The PCSX2 project has been running for more than ten years. Past versions could only run a few public domain game demos, but newer versions can run most games at full speed, including popular titles such as Final Fantasy X and Devil May Cry 3.

DeSmuME Git (2022/04/27)

EmuCR:DeSmuMEDeSmuME Git (2022/04/27) is compiled. DeSmuME is an open source Nintendo DS(NDS) emulator for Linux, Mac OS and Windows. DeSmuME supports save states, the ability to increase the size of the screen and it supports filters to improve image quality. DeSmuME also supports microphone use on Windows and Linux ports, as well as direct video and audio recording. The emulator also features a built-in movie recorder.

PCSX-Redux Git (2022/04/27)

EmuCR: PCSX-ReduxPCSX-Redux Git (2022/04/27) is compiled. This is yet another fork of the Playstation Emulator, PCSX. While the work here is very much in progress, the goal is roughly the following: Bring the codebase to more up to date code standards. Get rid of the plugin system and create a single monolithic codebase that handles all aspects of the playstation emulation. Write everything on top of SDL/OpenGL3+/ImGui for portability and readability. Improve the debugging experience. Improve the rendering experience.

Play! Git (2022/04/27)

EmuCR: Play!Play! Git (2022/04/27) is compiled. Play! is an attempt at creating an emulator for the PlayStation 2 (PS2) console on the Windows platform. It is currently written in C/C++. It uses an instruction caching/recompilation scheme to achieve better performance while emulating the CPU.

Mesen-X Git (2022/04/27)

EmuCR: MesenMesen-X Git (2022/04/27) is compiled. Mesen X is a cross-platform (Windows & Linux) NES/Famicom emulator built in C++ and C#. This fork is meant to gather development efforts from different forks. Not under active development but pull requests are welcome.

NanoBoyAdvance Git (2022/04/27)

EmuCR NanoBoyAdvanceNanoBoyAdvance Git (2022/04/27) is compiled. NanoboyAdvance is a Nintendo Game Boy Advance (TM) emulator written in C++17. The goal is to create a minimal, accurate and reasonably efficient Game Boy Advance emulator in modern C++. The emulator implements the core hardware completely and with high accuracy. Almost all games can be emulated without any known issues, even the 'Classic NES' titles which abuse a variety of edge-cases and undefined behaviour.

Project64 Git (2022/04/27)

EmuCR: Project 64Project64 Git (2022/04/27) is compiled. Project 64 is a proprietary Nintendo 64 emulator for Windows. It employs a plug-in system that allows third-party software developers to create their own implementation of a specified component. Project64 allows the user to play Nintendo 64 games on a computer by reading ROM images, either dumped from the read-only memory of a Nintendo 64 cartridge or created directly on the computer as homebrew. Project64 started as an exercise by Jabo and zilmar in an attempt to see if they were capable of programming a Nintendo 64 emulator. It's open source now.

Dolphin Git 5.0-16359

EmuCR: DolphinDolphin Git 5.0-16359 is compiled. This is the trunk of Dolphin Project. Dolphin is the first Gamecube emulator able to run commercial games! Dolphin is a Gamecube, Wii and Triforce (the arcade machine based on the Gamecube) emulator which supports many extra features and abilities not present on the original consoles. It has a partial Wii support and plays most Gamecube games.

Fceux Git (2022/04/27)

EmuCR:FceuxFceux Git (2022/04/27) is compiled. FCEUX is a cross platform, NTSC and PAL Famicom/NES emulator that is an evolution of the original FCE Ultra emulator. Over time FCE Ultra had separated into many separate branches. The concept behind FCEUX is to merge elements from FCE Ultra, FCEU rerecording, FCEUXD, FCEUXDSP, and FCEU-mm into a single branch of FCEU. As the X implies, it is an all-encompassing FCEU emulator that gives the best of all worlds for the general player, the ROM-hacking community, and the Tool-Assisted Speedrun Community.

EmuCR: EKA2L1 EKA2L1 Git (2022/04/27) is compiled. EKA2L1 is a Experimental Symbian OS emulator, written in C++ 17. The emulator currently emulates Symbian OS's EKA2 behavior (with planned EKA1 support), and reimplement most of its critical app servers. It can already boot many EKA2's apps and games, with EKA1 being worked on at the moment.

EmuCR: aresAres Git (2022/04/27) is compiled. ares is a multi-system emulator that began development on October 14th, 2004. It is a descendent of higan and bsnes, and focuses on accuracy and preservation.

HBMAME v0.243

EmuCR: HBMAMEHBMAME v0.243 is released. HBMAME (HomeBrew MAME) is a derivate of MAME, and contains various hacks and homebrews that are not included in MAME. It is based on the latest MAME source from SVN at the time of release.

DOSee v1.7.1

EmuCR: DOSBoxDOSee v1.7.1 is released. DOSee is a front-end for an MS-DOS emulation ecosystem to use on the web. The text-based MS-DOS was the dominant personal computer platform for much of the 1980s. Up until the mid-1990s before being superseded by Microsoft Windows. Emulating this platform allows tens of thousands of games, demos and applications from this era to run on a web browser both online or offline as a desktop web-app! DOSee is only a user interface and installation process for an incredible emulation ecosystem. Many remarkable people created it over many years. DOSee itself is a fork of The Emularity project started by the Internet Archive. EM-DOSBox, the core of this emulation, is a JavaScript port of DOSBox, the world's most popular MS-DOS emulator.

Altirra v4.10 Test 9

EmuCR:AltirraAltirra v4.1 Test 9 is released. Altirra is an Atari 8 bit Emulator on the Windows/DOS platform. Altirra emulates several models of the 8-bit Atari computers. This includes the the 800, 800XL, and 130XE versions. It has a lot of options, and compatibility is decent especially given the emulator's early stages. It also supports some copy protected games properly in emulation.

MADrigal CD Collection v61.2

MADrigal CD Collection v61.2 is released. MADrigal CD Collection specifically combines all simulators Madrigal. This set is in addition to the "Handheld Remakes (Simulators)" to comply with the original name Madrigal simulators.

XEMU (2022/04/27)

This project is focused on making significant forward progress in terms of features, performance, stability, and user experience in Xbox emulation. This project is an active fork of the XQEMU project, which is based on the very popular and highly actively maintained QEMU full system emulator project.
