yuzu Git (2022/09/04)

EmuCR: yuzuyuzu Git (2022/09/04) is compiled. yuzu is a work-in-progress Nintendo Switch emulator. yuzu is an open-source project, licensed under the GPLv2 (or any later version). yuzu has been designed with portability in mind, with builds available for Windows, Linux, and macOS. The project was started in spring of 2017 by bunnei, one of the original authors of the popular Citra 3DS emulator, to experiment with and research the Nintendo Switch. Due to the similarities between Switch and 3DS, yuzu was developed as a fork of Citra. This means that it uses the same project architecture, and both emulators benefit from sharead improvements. During the early months of development, work was done in private, and progress was slow. However, as Switch reverse-engineering and homebrew development became popular, work on yuzu began to take off as well.

rpcs3 Git (2022/09/04)

EmuCR: rpcs3 rpcs3 Git (2022/09/04) is compiled. RPCS3 is an open-source Sony PlayStation 3 emulator and debugger written in C++ for Windows and Linux. The emulator has been in development since early 2011 and currently supports modern DirectX 12, Vulkan and OpenGL renderers. The emulator is capable of booting and playing a decent amount of commercial games and PlayStation 3 SDK samples. Many more titles are also becoming playable with future development by contributors.

Vita3K Git (2022/09/04)

EmuCR: Vita3KVita3K Git (2022/09/02) is compiled. Vita3K is an experimental PlayStation Vita emulator for Windows, Linux and macOS. The emulator currently runs a few homebrew programs in .vpk format. No commercial games are playable.

Citra Git (2022/09/04)

EmuCR: CitraCitra Git (2022/09/04) is compiled. This is the trunk of Citra Project. Citra is an experimental open-source Nintendo 3DS emulator/debugger written in C++. At this time, it only emulates a very small subset of 3DS hardware, and therefore is only useful for booting/debugging very simple homebrew demos. Citra is licensed under the GPLv2. Refer to the license.txt file included.

PCSX-Redux Git (2022/09/04)

EmuCR: PCSX-ReduxPCSX-Redux Git (2022/09/04) is compiled. This is yet another fork of the Playstation Emulator, PCSX. While the work here is very much in progress, the goal is roughly the following: Bring the codebase to more up to date code standards. Get rid of the plugin system and create a single monolithic codebase that handles all aspects of the playstation emulation. Write everything on top of SDL/OpenGL3+/ImGui for portability and readability. Improve the debugging experience. Improve the rendering experience.

PPSSPP Git (2022/09/04)

EmuCR: PPSSPPPPSSPP Git (2022/09/04) is compiled. PPSSPP is a fast and portable PSP emulator for Android, Windows, Mac, and Linux, written in C++.

Dolphin Git 5.0-17271

EmuCR: DolphinDolphin Git 5.0-17271 is compiled. This is the trunk of Dolphin Project. Dolphin is the first Gamecube emulator able to run commercial games! Dolphin is a Gamecube, Wii and Triforce (the arcade machine based on the Gamecube) emulator which supports many extra features and abilities not present on the original consoles. It has a partial Wii support and plays most Gamecube games.

FB Neo Git (2022/09/04)

EmuCR: FB AlphaFB Neo Git (2022/09/04) is compiled. FinalBurn Neo is an Emulator for Arcade Games & Select Consoles. It is based on the emulators FinalBurn and old versions of MAME.

Jpcsp Git (2022/09/04)

EmuCR:JPcspJpcsp Git (2022/09/04) is compiled. JPCSP is a PlayStation Portable(PSP) emulator, allowing you to play your PSP games on a PC. Even though Jpcsp is written in Java, it can already reach 100% PSP speed on a lot of commercial games... and the emulator performance is constantly increasing. Jpcsp takes full advantage of dual-core processors, matching the PSP dual-core architecture. Even a quad-core can give a small performance improvement by leaving free CPU cores for the Java JIT Compiler and the graphics cache.

mGBA Git (2022/09/04)

EmuCR: mGBAmGBA Git (2022/09/04) is compiled. mGBA is a new emulator for running Game Boy Advance games. It aims to be faster and more accurate than many existing Game Boy Advance emulators, as well as adding features that other emulators lack.

EmuCR:bsnes Emulatorsbsnes-plus Git (2022/09/04) is complied. bsnes-plus (or bsnes+) is a fork of bsnes (based on bsnes-classic) intended to introduce some new features and improvements, mostly aimed at debugging. bsnes is an emulator for the Super Famicom and SNES video game systems. The purpose of the emulator is a bit different from other emulators: it focuses on accuracy, debugging functionality, and clean code.

EmuCR: aresAres Git (2022/09/04) is compiled. ares is a multi-system emulator that began development on October 14th, 2004. It is a descendent of higan and bsnes, and focuses on accuracy and preservation.

EmuCR:GameEx GameEx v18.20 is released. GameEx is a graphical DirectX based front-end for MAME, Zinc, Daphne, PC Games, and all command line based game emulators, along with being a good Home Theatre PC solution. It also makes a good CarPC and touchscreen frontend. The original goal was for it to be used on Windows XP Media Center and Arcade Cabinets although it will run on any version of Windows 98, ME, 2000, XP and Vista. simple64 v2022.09.2

simple64 v2022.09.2 is released. simple64 uses simple64-gui, a brand new N64 frontend written in Qt6. It supports all of the things you’d expect from a frontend (savestate management, pausing, screenshots, etc.). simple64 comes bundled with paraLLEl-RDP for graphics, and a heavily modified version of mupen64plus-core. It should give you the best out-of-the-box experience available for N64 gaming.

EmuCR: SDLMAMESDLMAME v0.247 is released. SDLMAME is a port of the popular MAME™ emulator to the SDL library. It runs on many different platforms, including both 32- and 64-bit Linux.

EmuCR: WiiSX RXWiiSX RX 2022 v20220903 is released. A fork of the original WiiSX-RX (http://github.com/niuus/WiiSXRX), originally a port of PCSX-Reloaded, but with many changes from PCSX-ReARMed, for the Nintendo Wii/Wii U.

WinVICE r42519

EmuCR: SDLVICE WinVICE r42519 is released. WinVICE is a program that executes programs intended for the old 8-bit computers. The current version emulates the C64, the C128, the VIC20, all the PET models (except the SuperPET 9000, which is out of line anyway), the PLUS4 and the CBM-II (aka C610).

EmuTos CVS (2022/09/03)
