yuzu Git (2022/11/21)

EmuCR: yuzuyuzu Git (2022/11/21) is compiled. yuzu is a work-in-progress Nintendo Switch emulator. yuzu is an open-source project, licensed under the GPLv2 (or any later version). yuzu has been designed with portability in mind, with builds available for Windows, Linux, and macOS. The project was started in spring of 2017 by bunnei, one of the original authors of the popular Citra 3DS emulator, to experiment with and research the Nintendo Switch. Due to the similarities between Switch and 3DS, yuzu was developed as a fork of Citra. This means that it uses the same project architecture, and both emulators benefit from sharead improvements. During the early months of development, work was done in private, and progress was slow. However, as Switch reverse-engineering and homebrew development became popular, work on yuzu began to take off as well.

Ryujinx Git (2022/11/21)

EmuCR: RyujinxRyujinx Git (2022/11/21) is compiled. Ryujinx is an open source Nintendo Switch Emulator written in C# created by gdkchan. This emulator aims at providing good performance and accuracy, a friendly interface, and consistent builds. Ryujinx is currently available for Windows, Linux, and macOS.

PCSX2 Git (2022/11/21)

EmuCR: PCSX2PCSX2 Git (2022/11/21) is compiled. PCSX2 is a free and open-source PlayStation 2 (PS2) emulator. Its purpose is to emulate the PS2's hardware, using a combination of MIPS CPU Interpreters, Recompilers and a Virtual Machine which manages hardware states and PS2 system memory. This allows you to play PS2 games on your PC, with many additional features and benefits.

Citra Git (2022/11/21)

EmuCR: CitraCitra Git (2022/11/21) is compiled. This is the trunk of Citra Project. Citra is an experimental open-source Nintendo 3DS emulator/debugger written in C++. At this time, it only emulates a very small subset of 3DS hardware, and therefore is only useful for booting/debugging very simple homebrew demos. Citra is licensed under the GPLv2. Refer to the license.txt file included.

Vita3K Git (2022/11/21)

EmuCR: Vita3KVita3K Git (2022/11/21) is compiled. Vita3K is an experimental PlayStation Vita emulator for Windows, Linux and macOS. The emulator currently runs a few homebrew programs in .vpk format. No commercial games are playable.

PCSX-Redux Git (2022/11/21)

EmuCR: PCSX-ReduxPCSX-Redux Git (2022/11/21) is compiled. This is yet another fork of the Playstation Emulator, PCSX. While the work here is very much in progress, the goal is roughly the following: Bring the codebase to more up to date code standards. Get rid of the plugin system and create a single monolithic codebase that handles all aspects of the playstation emulation. Write everything on top of SDL/OpenGL3+/ImGui for portability and readability. Improve the debugging experience. Improve the rendering experience.

Stella Git (2022/11/21)

mGBA Git (2022/11/21)

EmuCR: mGBAmGBA Git (2022/11/21) is compiled. mGBA is a new emulator for running Game Boy Advance games. It aims to be faster and more accurate than many existing Game Boy Advance emulators, as well as adding features that other emulators lack.

EmuCR: DOSBoxDOSBox-Staging Git (2022/11/21) is compiled. This repository attempts to modernize the DOSBox project by using current development practices and tools, fixing issues, adding features that better support today's systems, and sending patches upstream.

EmuCR: DolphinDolphin Git 5.0-17891 is compiled. This is the trunk of Dolphin Project. Dolphin is the first Gamecube emulator able to run commercial games! Dolphin is a Gamecube, Wii and Triforce (the arcade machine based on the Gamecube) emulator which supports many extra features and abilities not present on the original consoles. It has a partial Wii support and plays most Gamecube games.

BizHawk Git (2022/11/21)

EmuCR: BizHawkBizHawk Git (2022/11/21) is compiled. BizHawk is a A multi-system emulator written in C#. BizHawk provides nice features for casual gamers such as full screen, and joypad support in addition to full rerecording and debugging tools for all system cores.

Ares Git (2022/11/21)

EmuCR: aresAres Git (2022/11/21) is compiled. ares is a multi-system emulator that began development on October 14th, 2004. It is a descendent of higan and bsnes, and focuses on accuracy and preservation.

StellaDS v5.9

EmuCR: Stella DSStellaDS v5.9 is released. StellaDS is an Atari 2600 (VCS) console emulator for your DS/DSi. To use this emulator, you must use compatibles rom with a26/bin format. Twilight Menu++ wants to see the file extension be .a26 (you can just rename .bin)

Cemu v2.0-17

EmuCR: WiiUCemu v2.0-17 is released. Cemu is a Nintendo Wii U emulator that runs commercial games. Highly experimental software to emulate Wii U applications on PC. It's written in C/C++ and is being actively developed with new features and fixes to increase compatibility, convenience and usability.

Supermodel Git (2022/11/20)

EmuCR: SupermodelSupermodel Git (2022/11/20) is released. Supermodel emulates Sega's Model 3 arcade platform, allowing you to relive state-of-the-art 3D arcade gaming as it existed from 1996 through 1999. It uses OpenGL, SDL2, and can run on Windows, Linux, and macOS. It also supports network play on low-latency network connections. The source code is freely available under the terms of the GNU General Public License.

WinVICE r42645

EmuCR: SDLVICE WinVICE r42645 is released. WinVICE is a program that executes programs intended for the old 8-bit computers. The current version emulates the C64, the C128, the VIC20, all the PET models (except the SuperPET 9000, which is out of line anyway), the PLUS4 and the CBM-II (aka C610).

Cxbx Reloaded (2022/11/21)

EmuCR:Xbox EmulatorsCxbx Reloaded (2022/11/21) is released. Cxbx-Reloaded is an emulator for running Microsoft Xbox (and eventually, Chihiro) games on Microsoft Windows. The project began life as a fork of Cxbx with added 64-bit support. Work is currently underway to backport some of the improvements from Dxbx. Cxbx-Reloaded is still pretty unstable, don't expect it to run much at this point.
