EmuCR: yuzuyuzu Git (2023/02/27) is compiled. yuzu is a work-in-progress Nintendo Switch emulator. yuzu is an open-source project, licensed under the GPLv2 (or any later version). yuzu has been designed with portability in mind, with builds available for Windows, Linux, and macOS. The project was started in spring of 2017 by bunnei, one of the original authors of the popular Citra 3DS emulator, to experiment with and research the Nintendo Switch. Due to the similarities between Switch and 3DS, yuzu was developed as a fork of Citra. This means that it uses the same project architecture, and both emulators benefit from sharead improvements. During the early months of development, work was done in private, and progress was slow. However, as Switch reverse-engineering and homebrew development became popular, work on yuzu began to take off as well.

Ryujinx Git (2023/02/28)

This emulator aims at providing good performance and accuracy, a friendly interface, and consistent builds. Ryujinx is currently available for Windows, Linux, and macOS.

rpcs3 Git (2023/02/28)

EmuCR: rpcs3 rpcs3 Git (2023/02/28) is compiled. RPCS3 is an open-source Sony PlayStation 3 emulator and debugger written in C++ for Windows and Linux. The emulator has been in development since early 2011 and currently supports modern DirectX 12, Vulkan and OpenGL renderers. The emulator is capable of booting and playing a decent amount of commercial games and PlayStation 3 SDK samples. Many more titles are also becoming playable with future development by contributors.

EmuCR: PCSX2PCSX2 Git (2023/02/28) is compiled. PCSX2 is a free and open-source PlayStation 2 (PS2) emulator. Its purpose is to emulate the PS2's hardware, using a combination of MIPS CPU Interpreters, Recompilers and a Virtual Machine which manages hardware states and PS2 system memory. This allows you to play PS2 games on your PC, with many additional features and benefits.

PCSX-Redux Git (2023/02/28)

EmuCR: PCSX-ReduxPCSX-Redux Git (2023/02/28) is compiled. This is yet another fork of the Playstation Emulator, PCSX. While the work here is very much in progress, the goal is roughly the following: Bring the codebase to more up to date code standards. Get rid of the plugin system and create a single monolithic codebase that handles all aspects of the playstation emulation. Write everything on top of SDL/OpenGL3+/ImGui for portability and readability. Improve the debugging experience. Improve the rendering experience.

DeSmuME Git (2023/02/28)

EmuCR:DeSmuMEDeSmuME Git (2023/02/28) is compiled. DeSmuME is an open source Nintendo DS(NDS) emulator for Linux, Mac OS and Windows. DeSmuME supports save states, the ability to increase the size of the screen and it supports filters to improve image quality. DeSmuME also supports microphone use on Windows and Linux ports, as well as direct video and audio recording. The emulator also features a built-in movie recorder.

Vita3K Git (2023/02/28)

EmuCR: Vita3KVita3K Git (2023/02/28) is compiled. Vita3K is an experimental PlayStation Vita emulator for Windows, Linux and macOS. The emulator currently runs a few homebrew programs in .vpk format. No commercial games are playable.

EmuCR: puNESpuNES Git (2023/02/28) is compiled. puNES is a NES emulator. Currently the program supports mappers 0, MMC1, UNROM, CNROM, and the sound is available. It uses the SDL libraries and it works on both Linux and Windows.

Project64 Git (2023/02/28)

EmuCR: Project 64Project64 Git (2023/02/28) is compiled. Project 64 is a proprietary Nintendo 64 emulator for Windows. It employs a plug-in system that allows third-party software developers to create their own implementation of a specified component. Project64 allows the user to play Nintendo 64 games on a computer by reading ROM images, either dumped from the read-only memory of a Nintendo 64 cartridge or created directly on the computer as homebrew. Project64 started as an exercise by Jabo and zilmar in an attempt to see if they were capable of programming a Nintendo 64 emulator. It's open source now.

Dolphin is a Gamecube, Wii and Triforce (the arcade machine based on the Gamecube) emulator which supports many extra features and abilities not present on the original consoles. It has a partial Wii support and plays most Gamecube games.

SpecEmu v3.2 build 2022.02.18

SpecEmu v3.2 build 2022.12.06 is released. SpecEmu is a Spectrum emulator designed to run under Windows 95/98/ME and requires DirectX installed. It has been written in 100% assembler to give it the power to accurately emulate all of the native ZX Spectrum hardware.

SDLTRS v1.2.26

SDLTRS v1.2.26 is released. SDLTRS is a Radio Shack TRS-80 Model I/III/4/4P emulator for Macintosh OSX, Windows, and Linux. SDL(2)TRS is based on Tim Mann's excellent TRS-80 emulator xtrs and also has very low system requirements: it works on all platforms supported by the SDL library, even on machines with only a few hundred MHz of CPU speed.

Z64K (2023/02/28)

EmuCR: Z64K Z64K (2023/02/28) is released. Pixel exact emulation of the Commodore 64, VIC 20 and Atari 2600 written entirely in Java. The emulators should run on any platform with an updated java runtime environment installed.

HP-15C v4.5.00 Build 6308

HP-15C v4.5.00 Build 6308 is released. The Simulator mimics the behaviour of the real HP-15C. It does not emulate any hardware, like CPU, ROM or Memory, of the real HP-15C. That is why it is a Simulator and not an emulator. The Simulator is intended to be a useful RPN calculator for your PC desktop. It therefore makes use of the features of the underlying operating system and it's GUI: Programs can be saved in files, so that you need to key them in only once. Pop-up menus provide easy and fast access to many HP-15C functions and features. However, no new function, which is not supported by the real HP-15C, is added. The Simulator supports almost all functions and features of the real HP-15C. Differences between the real HP-15C and the Simulator are rather small.

EmuCR: GroovyMameGroovyMame v0.252 SwitchRes v2.002q is released. GroovyMame is a custom M.A.M.E. build mainly aimed at CRT monitors, as we are convinced CRT technology is a must when it comes to enjoying emulation in its full glory. However you can use GroovyMAME to alliviate some of the annoyances associated to emulation on LCD displays, specially for those models which are capable of refreshing at custom rates.

Command.dat v0.252

Command.dat v0.252 is released. The command.dat is a file that allows you to view, among other things, the individual command lists for your favorite fighting game characters. With the command.dat, you can have an in game instruction manual to essentially every game that MAME supports.

WinVICE r43354

EmuCR: SDLVICE WinVICE r43354 is released. WinVICE is a program that executes programs intended for the old 8-bit computers. The current version emulates the C64, the C128, the VIC20, all the PET models (except the SuperPET 9000, which is out of line anyway), the PLUS4 and the CBM-II (aka C610).
