yuzu Git (2023/04/10)

EmuCR: yuzuyuzu Git (2023/04/10) is compiled. yuzu is a work-in-progress Nintendo Switch emulator. yuzu is an open-source project, licensed under the GPLv2 (or any later version). yuzu has been designed with portability in mind, with builds available for Windows, Linux, and macOS. The project was started in spring of 2017 by bunnei, one of the original authors of the popular Citra 3DS emulator, to experiment with and research the Nintendo Switch. Due to the similarities between Switch and 3DS, yuzu was developed as a fork of Citra. This means that it uses the same project architecture, and both emulators benefit from sharead improvements. During the early months of development, work was done in private, and progress was slow. However, as Switch reverse-engineering and homebrew development became popular, work on yuzu began to take off as well.

Ryujinx Git (2023/04/10)

EmuCR: RyujinxRyujinx Git (2023/04/10) is compiled. Ryujinx is an open source Nintendo Switch Emulator written in C# created by gdkchan. This emulator aims at providing good performance and accuracy, a friendly interface, and consistent builds. Ryujinx is currently available for Windows, Linux, and macOS.

PCSX2 Git (2023/04/10)

EmuCR: PCSX2PCSX2 Git (2023/04/10) is compiled. PCSX2 is a free and open-source PlayStation 2 (PS2) emulator. Its purpose is to emulate the PS2's hardware, using a combination of MIPS CPU Interpreters, Recompilers and a Virtual Machine which manages hardware states and PS2 system memory. This allows you to play PS2 games on your PC, with many additional features and benefits.

fpPS4 Git (2023/04/10)

EmuCR: fpPS4 fpPS4 Git (2023/04/10) is compiled. PS4 compatibility layer (emulator) on Free Pascal. This project is at the beginning and started for fun.

Citra Git (2023/04/10)

EmuCR: CitraCitra Git (2023/04/10) is compiled. This is the trunk of Citra Project. Citra is an experimental open-source Nintendo 3DS emulator/debugger written in C++. At this time, it only emulates a very small subset of 3DS hardware, and therefore is only useful for booting/debugging very simple homebrew demos. Citra is licensed under the GPLv2. Refer to the license.txt file included.

Xenia Git (2023/04/10)

EmuCR: XeniaXenia Git (2023/04/10) is compiled. Xenia is an experimental emulator for the Xbox 360. It does not run games (yet).

PCSX-Redux Git (2023/04/10)

EmuCR: PCSX-ReduxPCSX-Redux Git (2023/04/10) is compiled. This is yet another fork of the Playstation Emulator, PCSX. While the work here is very much in progress, the goal is roughly the following: Bring the codebase to more up to date code standards. Get rid of the plugin system and create a single monolithic codebase that handles all aspects of the playstation emulation. Write everything on top of SDL/OpenGL3+/ImGui for portability and readability. Improve the debugging experience. Improve the rendering experience.

PPSSPP Git (2023/04/10)

EmuCR: PPSSPPPPSSPP Git (2023/04/10) is compiled. PPSSPP is a fast and portable PSP emulator for Android, Windows, Mac, and Linux, written in C++.

mGBA Git (2023/04/10)

EmuCR: mGBAmGBA Git (2023/04/10) is compiled. mGBA is a new emulator for running Game Boy Advance games. It aims to be faster and more accurate than many existing Game Boy Advance emulators, as well as adding features that other emulators lack.

FB Neo Git (2023/04/10)

EmuCR: FB AlphaFB Neo Git (2023/04/10) is compiled. FinalBurn Neo is an Emulator for Arcade Games & Select Consoles. It is based on the emulators FinalBurn and old versions of MAME.

Stella Git (2023/04/10)

EmuCR: StellaStella Git (2023/04/10) is compiled. Stella is a multi-platform Atari 2600 VCS emulator. The Atari 2600 Video Computer System (VCS), introduced in 1977, was the most popular home video game system of the early 1980's. Now you can enjoy all of your favorite Atari 2600 games on your PC thanks to Stella!

Fceux Git (2023/04/10)

EmuCR:FceuxFceux Git (2023/04/10) is compiled. FCEUX is a cross platform, NTSC and PAL Famicom/NES emulator that is an evolution of the original FCE Ultra emulator. Over time FCE Ultra had separated into many separate branches. The concept behind FCEUX is to merge elements from FCE Ultra, FCEU rerecording, FCEUXD, FCEUXDSP, and FCEU-mm into a single branch of FCEU. As the X implies, it is an all-encompassing FCEU emulator that gives the best of all worlds for the general player, the ROM-hacking community, and the Tool-Assisted Speedrun Community.

BizHawk Git (2023/04/10)

EmuCR: BizHawkBizHawk Git (2023/04/10) is compiled. BizHawk is a A multi-system emulator written in C#. BizHawk provides nice features for casual gamers such as full screen, and joypad support in addition to full rerecording and debugging tools for all system cores.

Pantheon v12.556

EmuCR: PantheonPantheon v12.556 is released. Pantheon is Windows desktop application with collection of games for video consoles and home computers from the past. The games are not the part of the application, instead they will be downloaded (with the game manual or review - if available) from the internet, after you activate the game. Downloaded files are stored on the local file system and will be available offline the next time you wish to play the game. Finally, the program file is loaded into the memory and executed inside the emulator. Current version has emulator of Atari 2600 with collection of 170 games, emulator of Atari 5200 with collection of 50 games and emulator of Atari 8-bit computers with collection of 26 games.

SDLTRS v1.2.27

SDLTRS v1.2.27 is released. SDLTRS is a Radio Shack TRS-80 Model I/III/4/4P emulator for Macintosh OSX, Windows, and Linux. SDL(2)TRS is based on Tim Mann's excellent TRS-80 emulator xtrs and also has very low system requirements: it works on all platforms supported by the SDL library, even on machines with only a few hundred MHz of CPU speed.

WinVICE r43658

EmuCR: SDLVICE WinVICE r43658 is released. WinVICE is a program that executes programs intended for the old 8-bit computers. The current version emulates the C64, the C128, the VIC20, all the PET models (except the SuperPET 9000, which is out of line anyway), the PLUS4 and the CBM-II (aka C610).

Mesen2 Git (2023/04/10)

EmuCR: MesenMesen2 Git (2023/04/10) is compiled. Mesen is a NES/Famicom emulator and NSF player. It is still a work in progress - some features are currently incomplete or may change in future versions.
