yuzu Git (2023/06/19)

EmuCR: yuzuyuzu Git (2023/06/19) is compiled. yuzu is a work-in-progress Nintendo Switch emulator. yuzu is an open-source project, licensed under the GPLv2 (or any later version). yuzu has been designed with portability in mind, with builds available for Windows, Linux, and macOS. The project was started in spring of 2017 by bunnei, one of the original authors of the popular Citra 3DS emulator, to experiment with and research the Nintendo Switch. Due to the similarities between Switch and 3DS, yuzu was developed as a fork of Citra. This means that it uses the same project architecture, and both emulators benefit from sharead improvements. During the early months of development, work was done in private, and progress was slow. However, as Switch reverse-engineering and homebrew development became popular, work on yuzu began to take off as well.

Ryujinx Git (2023/06/19)

EmuCR: RyujinxRyujinx Git (2023/06/19) is compiled. Ryujinx is an open source Nintendo Switch Emulator written in C# created by gdkchan. This emulator aims at providing good performance and accuracy, a friendly interface, and consistent builds. Ryujinx is currently available for Windows, Linux, and macOS.

rpcs3 Git (2023/06/19)

EmuCR: rpcs3 rpcs3 Git (2023/06/19) is compiled. RPCS3 is an open-source Sony PlayStation 3 emulator and debugger written in C++ for Windows and Linux. The emulator has been in development since early 2011 and currently supports modern DirectX 12, Vulkan and OpenGL renderers. The emulator is capable of booting and playing a decent amount of commercial games and PlayStation 3 SDK samples. Many more titles are also becoming playable with future development by contributors.

PCSX2 Git (2023/06/19)

EmuCR: PCSX2PCSX2 Git (2023/06/19) is compiled. PCSX2 is a free and open-source PlayStation 2 (PS2) emulator. Its purpose is to emulate the PS2's hardware, using a combination of MIPS CPU Interpreters, Recompilers and a Virtual Machine which manages hardware states and PS2 system memory. This allows you to play PS2 games on your PC, with many additional features and benefits.

Citra Git (2023/06/19)

EmuCR: CitraCitra Git (2023/06/19) is compiled. This is the trunk of Citra Project. Citra is an experimental open-source Nintendo 3DS emulator/debugger written in C++. At this time, it only emulates a very small subset of 3DS hardware, and therefore is only useful for booting/debugging very simple homebrew demos. Citra is licensed under the GPLv2. Refer to the license.txt file included.

Vita3K Git (2023/06/19)

EmuCR: Vita3KVita3K Git (2023/06/19) is compiled. Vita3K is an experimental PlayStation Vita emulator for Windows, Linux and macOS. The emulator currently runs a few homebrew programs in .vpk format. No commercial games are playable.

Flycast Git (2023/06/19)

EmuCR: Flycast Flycast Git (2023/06/19) is compiled. Flycast is a multi-platform Sega Dreamcast, Naomi and Atomiswave emulator derived from reicast.

fpPS4 Git (2023/06/19)

EmuCR: fpPS4 fpPS4 Git (2023/06/19) is compiled. PS4 compatibility layer (emulator) on Free Pascal. This project is at the beginning and started for fun.

PCSX-Redux Git (2023/06/19)

EmuCR: PCSX-ReduxPCSX-Redux Git (2023/06/19) is compiled. This is yet another fork of the Playstation Emulator, PCSX. While the work here is very much in progress, the goal is roughly the following: Bring the codebase to more up to date code standards. Get rid of the plugin system and create a single monolithic codebase that handles all aspects of the playstation emulation. Write everything on top of SDL/OpenGL3+/ImGui for portability and readability. Improve the debugging experience. Improve the rendering experience.

Play! Git (2023/06/19)

EmuCR: Play!Play! Git (2023/06/19) is compiled. Play! is an attempt at creating an emulator for the PlayStation 2 (PS2) console on the Windows platform. It is currently written in C/C++. It uses an instruction caching/recompilation scheme to achieve better performance while emulating the CPU.

Fceux Git (2023/06/19)

EmuCR:FceuxFceux Git (2023/06/19) is compiled. FCEUX is a cross platform, NTSC and PAL Famicom/NES emulator that is an evolution of the original FCE Ultra emulator. Over time FCE Ultra had separated into many separate branches. The concept behind FCEUX is to merge elements from FCE Ultra, FCEU rerecording, FCEUXD, FCEUXDSP, and FCEU-mm into a single branch of FCEU. As the X implies, it is an all-encompassing FCEU emulator that gives the best of all worlds for the general player, the ROM-hacking community, and the Tool-Assisted Speedrun Community.

mGBA Git (2023/06/19)

EmuCR: mGBAmGBA Git (2023/06/19) is compiled. mGBA is a new emulator for running Game Boy Advance games. It aims to be faster and more accurate than many existing Game Boy Advance emulators, as well as adding features that other emulators lack.

SkyEmu Git (2023/06/19)

EmuCR:SkyEmu SkyEmu Git (2023/06/19) is released. SkyEmu is a low level GameBoy, GameBoy Color and Game Boy Advance emulator. Its primary focus is to provide a good user experience through a good mixture of tradeoffs of accuracy, performance, features and usability.

EmuCR: FB AlphaFB Neo Git (2023/06/19) is compiled. FinalBurn Neo is an Emulator for Arcade Games & Select Consoles. It is based on the emulators FinalBurn and old versions of MAME.

DOSBox-Staging Git (2023/06/19)

EmuCR: DOSBoxDOSBox-Staging Git (2023/06/19) is compiled. This repository attempts to modernize the DOSBox project by using current development practices and tools, fixing issues, adding features that better support today's systems, and sending patches upstream.

EmuCR: DolphinDolphin Git 5.0-19693 is compiled. This is the trunk of Dolphin Project. Dolphin is the first Gamecube emulator able to run commercial games! Dolphin is a Gamecube, Wii and Triforce (the arcade machine based on the Gamecube) emulator which supports many extra features and abilities not present on the original consoles. It has a partial Wii support and plays most Gamecube games.

EmuCR: PPSSPPPPSSPP Git (2023/06/19) is compiled. PPSSPP is a fast and portable PSP emulator for Android, Windows, Mac, and Linux, written in C++.

EmuCR: WiiUCemu v2.0-41 is released. Cemu is a Nintendo Wii U emulator that runs commercial games. Highly experimental software to emulate Wii U applications on PC. It's written in C/C++ and is being actively developed with new features and fixes to increase compatibility, convenience and usability.

Nintendulator 0.985 beta (2023/06/17)

NintendulatorNintendulator 0.985 beta (2023/06/17) is released. Nintendulator is an open source Win32 NES emulator written in C (plus some assembly optimization). The original goal was to emulate the NES down to its hardware quirks; though it's fallen behind over the years, recent builds have caught up once again and can emulate certain behaviors most other emulators neglect to handle. However, this emulation precision comes at a price - a 1500MHz (estimated) or faster CPU is required to emulate at full speed.

EmuCR: EmuTosEmuTos CVS (2023/06/18) is released. EmuTos is a GEMDOS compatible operating system for Atari ST series computers. It is made from Digital Research's GPLed original sources and is a free and open source replacement for common TOS images for Atari ST emulators.

WinVICE r44071

EmuCR: SDLVICE WinVICE r44071 is released. WinVICE is a program that executes programs intended for the old 8-bit computers. The current version emulates the C64, the C128, the VIC20, all the PET models (except the SuperPET 9000, which is out of line anyway), the PLUS4 and the CBM-II (aka C610).

XEMU v0.7.96

EmuCR:Xbox EmulatorsXEMU v0.7.96 is released. xemu is an open-source, cross-platform application that emulates the hardware of the original Xbox game console, allowing users to play their Xbox games on Windows, macOS, and Linux systems. This project is focused on making significant forward progress in terms of features, performance, stability, and user experience in Xbox emulation. This project is an active fork of the XQEMU project, which is based on the very popular and highly actively maintained QEMU full system emulator project.
