yuzu Git (2023/08/24)

EmuCR: yuzuyuzu Git (2023/08/24) is compiled. yuzu is a work-in-progress Nintendo Switch emulator. yuzu is an open-source project, licensed under the GPLv2 (or any later version). yuzu has been designed with portability in mind, with builds available for Windows, Linux, and macOS. The project was started in spring of 2017 by bunnei, one of the original authors of the popular Citra 3DS emulator, to experiment with and research the Nintendo Switch. Due to the similarities between Switch and 3DS, yuzu was developed as a fork of Citra. This means that it uses the same project architecture, and both emulators benefit from sharead improvements. During the early months of development, work was done in private, and progress was slow. However, as Switch reverse-engineering and homebrew development became popular, work on yuzu began to take off as well.

Ryujinx Git (2023/08/24)

EmuCR: RyujinxRyujinx Git (2023/08/24) is compiled. Ryujinx is an open source Nintendo Switch Emulator written in C# created by gdkchan. This emulator aims at providing good performance and accuracy, a friendly interface, and consistent builds. Ryujinx is currently available for Windows, Linux, and macOS.

rpcs3 Git (2023/08/24)

EmuCR: rpcs3 rpcs3 Git (2023/08/24) is compiled. RPCS3 is an open-source Sony PlayStation 3 emulator and debugger written in C++ for Windows and Linux. The emulator has been in development since early 2011 and currently supports modern DirectX 12, Vulkan and OpenGL renderers. The emulator is capable of booting and playing a decent amount of commercial games and PlayStation 3 SDK samples. Many more titles are also becoming playable with future development by contributors.

Citra Git (2023/08/24)

EmuCR: CitraCitra Git (2023/08/24) is compiled. This is the trunk of Citra Project. Citra is an experimental open-source Nintendo 3DS emulator/debugger written in C++. At this time, it only emulates a very small subset of 3DS hardware, and therefore is only useful for booting/debugging very simple homebrew demos. Citra is licensed under the GPLv2. Refer to the license.txt file included.

Snes9x Git (2023/07/24)

EmuCR: Snes9xSnes9x Git (2023/07/24) is compiled. Snes9x is a portable, freeware Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES) emulator. It basically allows you to play most games designed for the SNES and Super Famicom Nintendo game systems on your PC or Workstation; which includes some real gems that were only ever released in Japan. Snes9x is the result of well over three years worth of part-time hacking, coding, recoding, debugging, divorce, etc. (just kidding about the divorce bit). Snes9x is coded in C++, with three assembler CPU emulation cores on the i386 Linux and Windows ports.

Play! Git (2023/08/24)

EmuCR: Play!Play! Git (2023/08/24) is compiled. Play! is an attempt at creating an emulator for the PlayStation 2 (PS2) console on the Windows platform. It is currently written in C/C++. It uses an instruction caching/recompilation scheme to achieve better performance while emulating the CPU.

Project64 Git (2023/08/24)

EmuCR: Project 64Project64 Git (2023/08/24) is compiled. Project 64 is a proprietary Nintendo 64 emulator for Windows. It employs a plug-in system that allows third-party software developers to create their own implementation of a specified component. Project64 allows the user to play Nintendo 64 games on a computer by reading ROM images, either dumped from the read-only memory of a Nintendo 64 cartridge or created directly on the computer as homebrew. Project64 started as an exercise by Jabo and zilmar in an attempt to see if they were capable of programming a Nintendo 64 emulator. It's open source now.

SkyEmu Git (2023/08/24)

EmuCR:SkyEmu SkyEmu Git (2023/08/24) is released. SkyEmu is a low level GameBoy, GameBoy Color and Game Boy Advance emulator. Its primary focus is to provide a good user experience through a good mixture of tradeoffs of accuracy, performance, features and usability.

DuckStation Git (2023/08/24)

EmuCR: DuckStation DuckStation Git (2023/08/24) is compiled. DuckStation is an simulator/emulator of the Sony PlayStation(TM) console, focusing on playability, speed, and long-term maintainability. The goal is to be as accurate as possible while maintaining performance suitable for low-end devices. "Hack" options are discouraged, the default configuration should support all playable games with only some of the enhancements having compatibility issues.

FB Neo Git (2023/08/24)

EmuCR: FB AlphaFB Neo Git (2023/08/24) is compiled. FinalBurn Neo is an Emulator for Arcade Games & Select Consoles. It is based on the emulators FinalBurn and old versions of MAME.

PPSSPP Git (2023/08/24)

EmuCR: PPSSPPPPSSPP Git (2023/08/24) is compiled. PPSSPP is a fast and portable PSP emulator for Android, Windows, Mac, and Linux, written in C++.

mGBA Git (2023/08/24)

EmuCR: mGBAmGBA Git (2023/08/24) is compiled. mGBA is a new emulator for running Game Boy Advance games. It aims to be faster and more accurate than many existing Game Boy Advance emulators, as well as adding features that other emulators lack.

DOSBox-Staging Git (2023/08/24)

EmuCR: DOSBoxDOSBox-Staging Git (2023/08/24) is compiled. This repository attempts to modernize the DOSBox project by using current development practices and tools, fixing issues, adding features that better support today's systems, and sending patches upstream.

EmuCR: Free42 Free42 v3.0.21 is released. Free42 is a complete re-implementation of the HP-42S scientific programmable RPN calculator,was made from 1988 until 1995 by Hewlett-Packard and the HP-82240 printer. Free42 was written from scratch, without using any HP code. You do not need any ROM images in order to use it, yet it is fully HP-42S compatible.

Panda3DS v0.4-beta

Panda3DS v0.4-beta is released. Panda3DS is an HLE, red-panda-themed Nintendo 3DS emulator written in C++ which started out as a fun project out of curiosity, but evolved into something that can sort of play games!

QEMU v8.1.0

EmuCR: QEMUQEMU v8.1.0 is released. QEMU is a generic and open source machine emulator and virtualizer.When used as a machine emulator, QEMU can run OSes and programs made for one machine (e.g. an ARM board) on a different machine (e.g. your own PC). By using dynamic translation, it achieves very good performances.When used as a virtualizer, QEMU achieves near native performances by executing the guest code directly on the host CPU. A host driver called the QEMU accelerator (also known as KQEMU) is needed in this case. The virtualizer mode requires that both the host and guest machine use x86 compatible processors.

EmuCR:Emu7800 Emu7800 v5.4.0.0 Preview 7 is released. EMU7800 was originally completed in 2003 as a .NET programming exercise, being ported to the litany of subsequent now defunct .NET platforms (Windows Phone, Silverlight, UWP, etc.). EMU7800 continues to be maintained to the present day as a non-commercial endeavor.

NINTV-DS v4.2 is released. NINTV-DS is an Intellivision console emulator running on the DS/DSi. The Intellivision is a home video game console released by Mattel Electronics in 1979.

PC6001VX v4.1.4

PC6001VX v4.1.4 is released. PC6001VX emulates the NEC PC-6001 under Windows. PC6001VX is a fork of Yumitaro's PC6001V NEC PC-6001 emulator geared towards Linux & Unix like operating with the added bonus being compilable for Windows.

EmuCR: EmuTosEmuTos CVS (2023/08/24) is released. EmuTos is a GEMDOS compatible operating system for Atari ST series computers. It is made from Digital Research's GPLed original sources and is a free and open source replacement for common TOS images for Atari ST emulators.

WinVICE r44444

EmuCR: SDLVICE WinVICE r44444 is released. WinVICE is a program that executes programs intended for the old 8-bit computers. The current version emulates the C64, the C128, the VIC20, all the PET models (except the SuperPET 9000, which is out of line anyway), the PLUS4 and the CBM-II (aka C610).
