EmuCR:SkyEmu SkyEmu Git (2023/09/09) is released. SkyEmu is a low level GameBoy, GameBoy Color and Game Boy Advance emulator. Its primary focus is to provide a good user experience through a good mixture of tradeoffs of accuracy, performance, features and usability.

yuzu Git (2023/09/09)

EmuCR: yuzuyuzu Git (2023/09/09) is compiled. yuzu is a work-in-progress Nintendo Switch emulator. yuzu is an open-source project, licensed under the GPLv2 (or any later version). yuzu has been designed with portability in mind, with builds available for Windows, Linux, and macOS. The project was started in spring of 2017 by bunnei, one of the original authors of the popular Citra 3DS emulator, to experiment with and research the Nintendo Switch. Due to the similarities between Switch and 3DS, yuzu was developed as a fork of Citra. This means that it uses the same project architecture, and both emulators benefit from sharead improvements. During the early months of development, work was done in private, and progress was slow. However, as Switch reverse-engineering and homebrew development became popular, work on yuzu began to take off as well.

Ryujinx Git (2023/09/09)

This emulator aims at providing good performance and accuracy, a friendly interface, and consistent builds. Ryujinx is currently available for Windows, Linux, and macOS.

PCSX2 Git (2023/09/09)

EmuCR: PCSX2PCSX2 Git (2023/09/09) is compiled. PCSX2 is a free and open-source PlayStation 2 (PS2) emulator. Its purpose is to emulate the PS2's hardware, using a combination of MIPS CPU Interpreters, Recompilers and a Virtual Machine which manages hardware states and PS2 system memory. This allows you to play PS2 games on your PC, with many additional features and benefits.

Citra Git (2023/09/09)

EmuCR: CitraCitra Git (2023/09/09) is compiled. This is the trunk of Citra Project. Citra is an experimental open-source Nintendo 3DS emulator/debugger written in C++. At this time, it only emulates a very small subset of 3DS hardware, and therefore is only useful for booting/debugging very simple homebrew demos. Citra is licensed under the GPLv2. Refer to the license.txt file included.

PCSX-Redux Git (2023/09/09)

EmuCR: PCSX-ReduxPCSX-Redux Git (2023/09/09) is compiled. This is yet another fork of the Playstation Emulator, PCSX. While the work here is very much in progress, the goal is roughly the following: Bring the codebase to more up to date code standards. Get rid of the plugin system and create a single monolithic codebase that handles all aspects of the playstation emulation. Write everything on top of SDL/OpenGL3+/ImGui for portability and readability. Improve the debugging experience. Improve the rendering experience.

Fceux Git (2023/09/09)

EmuCR:FceuxFceux Git (2023/09/09) is compiled. FCEUX is a cross platform, NTSC and PAL Famicom/NES emulator that is an evolution of the original FCE Ultra emulator. Over time FCE Ultra had separated into many separate branches. The concept behind FCEUX is to merge elements from FCE Ultra, FCEU rerecording, FCEUXD, FCEUXDSP, and FCEU-mm into a single branch of FCEU. As the X implies, it is an all-encompassing FCEU emulator that gives the best of all worlds for the general player, the ROM-hacking community, and the Tool-Assisted Speedrun Community.

EmuCR: FB AlphaFB Neo Git (2023/09/09) is compiled. FinalBurn Neo is an Emulator for Arcade Games & Select Consoles. It is based on the emulators FinalBurn and old versions of MAME.

EmuCR: DolphinDolphin Git 5.0-20107 is compiled. This is the trunk of Dolphin Project. Dolphin is the first Gamecube emulator able to run commercial games! Dolphin is a Gamecube, Wii and Triforce (the arcade machine based on the Gamecube) emulator which supports many extra features and abilities not present on the original consoles. It has a partial Wii support and plays most Gamecube games.

Play! Git (2023/09/09)

EmuCR: Play!Play! Git (2023/09/09) is compiled. Play! is an attempt at creating an emulator for the PlayStation 2 (PS2) console on the Windows platform. It is currently written in C/C++. It uses an instruction caching/recompilation scheme to achieve better performance while emulating the CPU.

DOSBox-Staging Git (2023/09/09)

EmuCR: DOSBoxDOSBox-Staging Git (2023/09/09) is compiled. This repository attempts to modernize the DOSBox project by using current development practices and tools, fixing issues, adding features that better support today's systems, and sending patches upstream.

EmuCR: BizHawkBizHawk Git (2023/09/09) is compiled. BizHawk is a A multi-system emulator written in C#. BizHawk provides nice features for casual gamers such as full screen, and joypad support in addition to full rerecording and debugging tools for all system cores.

EmuCR: ZEsarUXZEsarUX-X is released. ZEsarUX is a ZX Machines Emulator for Unix, including: ZX Spectrum ; ZX-Uno ; ZX80 ; ZX81 ; Z88 ; Jupiter Ace ; Chloe 140 SE, Chloe 280 SE ; Prism ; Timex TS 2068 ; Amstrad CPC 464. ZEsarUX is Open-Source and runs on Windows, Mac OS X and Linux.

EmuCR: mmSAPmmSAP v3.0.1 is released. mmSAP is SAP (Slight atari player) player based on ASAP library that uses ALSA for audio output and has GTK+ 3.0 based GUI. SAP is a special file format that is used to store POKEY-based Atari XL/XE music.

ASAP v5.3.0

ASAP v5.3.0 is released. ASAP is a player of 8-bit Atari music for modern computers. It emulates the POKEY sound chip and the 6502 processor. The project was initially based on the routines from the Atari800 emulator, but the current version has a completely new original emulation core.

C64-Archiv v4.4 is released. C64-Archiv is an easy to use file manager for C64-files on your PC. This program can work together with emulators such as VICE, CCS64, HOXS64 and EMU64 to start programs.

Cemu v2.0-48

EmuCR: WiiUCemu v2.0-48 is released. Cemu is a Nintendo Wii U emulator that runs commercial games. Highly experimental software to emulate Wii U applications on PC. It's written in C/C++ and is being actively developed with new features and fixes to increase compatibility, convenience and usability.

ColecoDS v8.7

ColecoDS v8.7 is released. ColecoDS is a Colecovision, ADAM, MSX1, Sord-M5, Memotech MTX, Spectravision SVI and SG-1000/SC-3000 for the Nintedo DS/DSi. To run requires a coleco.rom BIOS to be in the same directory as the emulator or else in /roms/bios or /data/bios.

simple64 v2023.09.2

simple64 v2023.09.2 is released. simple64 uses simple64-gui, a brand new N64 frontend written in Qt6. It supports all of the things you’d expect from a frontend (savestate management, pausing, screenshots, etc.). simple64 comes bundled with paraLLEl-RDP for graphics, and a heavily modified version of mupen64plus-core. It should give you the best out-of-the-box experience available for N64 gaming.

MAME v0.258 for Slackware

EmuCR: MAME for SlackwareMAME v0.258 for Slackware is released. These are MAME (and tools) packages for Slackware Linux (32-bit and 64-bit editions). MAME stands for Multiple Arcade Machine Emulator.

Vita3K Git (2023/09/09)

EmuCR: Vita3KVita3K Git (2023/09/09) is compiled. Vita3K is an experimental PlayStation Vita emulator for Windows, Linux and macOS. The emulator currently runs a few homebrew programs in .vpk format. No commercial games are playable.
