yuzu Git (2023/10/16)

EmuCR: yuzuyuzu Git (2023/10/16) is compiled. yuzu is a work-in-progress Nintendo Switch emulator. yuzu is an open-source project, licensed under the GPLv2 (or any later version). yuzu has been designed with portability in mind, with builds available for Windows, Linux, and macOS. The project was started in spring of 2017 by bunnei, one of the original authors of the popular Citra 3DS emulator, to experiment with and research the Nintendo Switch. Due to the similarities between Switch and 3DS, yuzu was developed as a fork of Citra. This means that it uses the same project architecture, and both emulators benefit from sharead improvements. During the early months of development, work was done in private, and progress was slow. However, as Switch reverse-engineering and homebrew development became popular, work on yuzu began to take off as well.

rpcs3 Git (2023/10/16)

EmuCR: rpcs3 rpcs3 Git (2023/10/16) is compiled. RPCS3 is an open-source Sony PlayStation 3 emulator and debugger written in C++ for Windows and Linux. The emulator has been in development since early 2011 and currently supports modern DirectX 12, Vulkan and OpenGL renderers. The emulator is capable of booting and playing a decent amount of commercial games and PlayStation 3 SDK samples. Many more titles are also becoming playable with future development by contributors.

PCSX2 Git (2023/10/16)

EmuCR: PCSX2PCSX2 Git (2023/10/16) is compiled. PCSX2 is a free and open-source PlayStation 2 (PS2) emulator. Its purpose is to emulate the PS2's hardware, using a combination of MIPS CPU Interpreters, Recompilers and a Virtual Machine which manages hardware states and PS2 system memory. This allows you to play PS2 games on your PC, with many additional features and benefits.

Citra Git (2023/10/16)

EmuCR: CitraCitra Git (2023/10/16) is compiled. This is the trunk of Citra Project. Citra is an experimental open-source Nintendo 3DS emulator/debugger written in C++. At this time, it only emulates a very small subset of 3DS hardware, and therefore is only useful for booting/debugging very simple homebrew demos. Citra is licensed under the GPLv2. Refer to the license.txt file included.

PCSX-Redux Git (2023/10/16)

EmuCR: PCSX-ReduxPCSX-Redux Git (2023/10/16) is compiled. This is yet another fork of the Playstation Emulator, PCSX. While the work here is very much in progress, the goal is roughly the following: Bring the codebase to more up to date code standards. Get rid of the plugin system and create a single monolithic codebase that handles all aspects of the playstation emulation. Write everything on top of SDL/OpenGL3+/ImGui for portability and readability. Improve the debugging experience. Improve the rendering experience.

EmuCR: PPSSPPPPSSPP Git (2023/10/16) is compiled. PPSSPP is a fast and portable PSP emulator for Android, Windows, Mac, and Linux, written in C++.

Dolphin Git 5.0-20229

EmuCR: DolphinDolphin Git 5.0-20229 is compiled. This is the trunk of Dolphin Project. Dolphin is the first Gamecube emulator able to run commercial games! Dolphin is a Gamecube, Wii and Triforce (the arcade machine based on the Gamecube) emulator which supports many extra features and abilities not present on the original consoles. It has a partial Wii support and plays most Gamecube games.

DuckStation Git (2023/10/16)

EmuCR: DuckStation DuckStation Git (2023/10/16) is compiled. DuckStation is an simulator/emulator of the Sony PlayStation(TM) console, focusing on playability, speed, and long-term maintainability. The goal is to be as accurate as possible while maintaining performance suitable for low-end devices. "Hack" options are discouraged, the default configuration should support all playable games with only some of the enhancements having compatibility issues.

EmuCR: FB AlphaFB Neo Git (2023/10/16) is compiled. FinalBurn Neo is an Emulator for Arcade Games & Select Consoles. It is based on the emulators FinalBurn and old versions of MAME.

arKad v1.1 Beta

EmuCR: arKad arKad v1.1 Beta is released. ArKad is an emulator for the Capcom System 1,2 and 3 boards with support for Linux. ArKad is in the first step of emulation and it runs a few Capcom System III (cps3) roms. arKad continues to gain compatibility, performance, and new features to this day.

puNES Git (2023/10/16)

EmuCR: puNESpuNES Git (2023/10/16) is compiled. puNES is a NES emulator. Currently the program supports mappers 0, MMC1, UNROM, CNROM, and the sound is available. It uses the SDL libraries and it works on both Linux and Windows.

EmuCR: mGBAmGBA Git (2023/10/16) is compiled. mGBA is a new emulator for running Game Boy Advance games. It aims to be faster and more accurate than many existing Game Boy Advance emulators, as well as adding features that other emulators lack.

Pantheon v13.130

EmuCR: PantheonPantheon v13.130 is released. Pantheon is Windows desktop application with collection of games for video consoles and home computers from the past. The games are not the part of the application, instead they will be downloaded (with the game manual or review - if available) from the internet, after you activate the game. Downloaded files are stored on the local file system and will be available offline the next time you wish to play the game. Finally, the program file is loaded into the memory and executed inside the emulator. Current version has emulator of Atari 2600 with collection of 170 games, emulator of Atari 5200 with collection of 50 games and emulator of Atari 8-bit computers with collection of 26 games.

PC6001VX v4.2.2 is released. PC6001VX emulates the NEC PC-6001 under Windows. PC6001VX is a fork of Yumitaro's PC6001V NEC PC-6001 emulator geared towards Linux & Unix like operating with the added bonus being compilable for Windows.

XEMU v0.7.114

EmuCR:Xbox EmulatorsXEMU v0.7.114 is released. xemu is an open-source, cross-platform application that emulates the hardware of the original Xbox game console, allowing users to play their Xbox games on Windows, macOS, and Linux systems. This project is focused on making significant forward progress in terms of features, performance, stability, and user experience in Xbox emulation. This project is an active fork of the XQEMU project, which is based on the very popular and highly actively maintained QEMU full system emulator project.

EmuCR: Vita3KVita3K Git (2023/10/16) is compiled. Vita3K is an experimental PlayStation Vita emulator for Windows, Linux and macOS. The emulator currently runs a few homebrew programs in .vpk format. No commercial games are playable.

Supermodel Git (2023/10/16)

EmuCR: SupermodelSupermodel Git (2023/10/16) is released. Supermodel emulates Sega's Model 3 arcade platform, allowing you to relive state-of-the-art 3D arcade gaming as it existed from 1996 through 1999. It uses OpenGL, SDL2, and can run on Windows, Linux, and macOS. It also supports network play on low-latency network connections. The source code is freely available under the terms of the GNU General Public License.

Cxbx Reloaded (2023/10/16)

EmuCR:Xbox EmulatorsCxbx Reloaded (2023/10/16) is released. Cxbx-Reloaded is an emulator for running Microsoft Xbox (and eventually, Chihiro) games on Microsoft Windows. The project began life as a fork of Cxbx with added 64-bit support. Work is currently underway to backport some of the improvements from Dxbx. Cxbx-Reloaded is still pretty unstable, don't expect it to run much at this point.
