yuzu Git (2024/02/24)

EmuCR: yuzuyuzu Git (2024/02/24) is compiled. yuzu is a work-in-progress Nintendo Switch emulator. yuzu is an open-source project, licensed under the GPLv2 (or any later version). yuzu has been designed with portability in mind, with builds available for Windows, Linux, and macOS. The project was started in spring of 2017 by bunnei, one of the original authors of the popular Citra 3DS emulator, to experiment with and research the Nintendo Switch. Due to the similarities between Switch and 3DS, yuzu was developed as a fork of Citra. This means that it uses the same project architecture, and both emulators benefit from sharead improvements. During the early months of development, work was done in private, and progress was slow. However, as Switch reverse-engineering and homebrew development became popular, work on yuzu began to take off as well.

Ryujinx Git (2024/02/24)

EmuCR: RyujinxRyujinx Git (2024/02/24) is compiled. Ryujinx is an open source Nintendo Switch Emulator written in C# created by gdkchan. This emulator aims at providing good performance and accuracy, a friendly interface, and consistent builds. Ryujinx is currently available for Windows, Linux, and macOS.

PCSX2 Git (2024/02/24)

EmuCR: PCSX2PCSX2 Git (2024/02/23) is compiled. PCSX2 is a free and open-source PlayStation 2 (PS2) emulator. Its purpose is to emulate the PS2's hardware, using a combination of MIPS CPU Interpreters, Recompilers and a Virtual Machine which manages hardware states and PS2 system memory. This allows you to play PS2 games on your PC, with many additional features and benefits.

PCSX-Redux Git (2024/02/24)

EmuCR: PCSX-ReduxPCSX-Redux Git (2024/02/24) is compiled. This is yet another fork of the Playstation Emulator, PCSX. While the work here is very much in progress, the goal is roughly the following: Bring the codebase to more up to date code standards. Get rid of the plugin system and create a single monolithic codebase that handles all aspects of the playstation emulation. Write everything on top of SDL/OpenGL3+/ImGui for portability and readability. Improve the debugging experience. Improve the rendering experience.

fpPS4 Git (2024/02/24)

EmuCR: fpPS4 fpPS4 Git (2024/02/24) is compiled. PS4 compatibility layer (emulator) on Free Pascal. This project is at the beginning and started for fun.

DuckStation Git (2024/02/24)

EmuCR: DuckStation DuckStation Git (2024/02/24) is compiled. DuckStation is an simulator/emulator of the Sony PlayStation(TM) console, focusing on playability, speed, and long-term maintainability. The goal is to be as accurate as possible while maintaining performance suitable for low-end devices. "Hack" options are discouraged, the default configuration should support all playable games with only some of the enhancements having compatibility issues.

BizHawk Git (2024/02/24)

EmuCR: BizHawkBizHawk Git (2024/02/24) is compiled. BizHawk is a A multi-system emulator written in C#. BizHawk provides nice features for casual gamers such as full screen, and joypad support in addition to full rerecording and debugging tools for all system cores.

Play! Git (2024/02/24)

EmuCR: Play!Play! Git (2024/02/24) is compiled. Play! is an attempt at creating an emulator for the PlayStation 2 (PS2) console on the Windows platform. It is currently written in C/C++. It uses an instruction caching/recompilation scheme to achieve better performance while emulating the CPU.

FB Neo Git (2024/02/24)

EmuCR: FB AlphaFB Neo Git (2024/02/24) is compiled. FinalBurn Neo is an Emulator for Arcade Games & Select Consoles. It is based on the emulators FinalBurn and old versions of MAME.

Fceux Git (2024/02/24)

EmuCR:FceuxFceux Git (2024/02/24) is compiled. FCEUX is a cross platform, NTSC and PAL Famicom/NES emulator that is an evolution of the original FCE Ultra emulator. Over time FCE Ultra had separated into many separate branches. The concept behind FCEUX is to merge elements from FCE Ultra, FCEU rerecording, FCEUXD, FCEUXDSP, and FCEU-mm into a single branch of FCEU. As the X implies, it is an all-encompassing FCEU emulator that gives the best of all worlds for the general player, the ROM-hacking community, and the Tool-Assisted Speedrun Community.

DOSBox-Staging Git (2024/02/24)

EmuCR: DOSBoxDOSBox-Staging Git (2024/02/24) is compiled. This repository attempts to modernize the DOSBox project by using current development practices and tools, fixing issues, adding features that better support today's systems, and sending patches upstream.

Tsugaru (2024/02/23)

Tsugaru (2024/02/23) is released. It is an emulator of legendary Fujitsu FM TOWNS computer. The goal is to emulate model II MX, which was the last computer I pledged allegiance. Also I am trying to find and document undocumented features of FM TOWNS system as much as possible while writing the emulator.

Wine v9.3

EmuCR:WineWine v9.3 is released. Wine is a project to allow a PC running a Unix-like operating system and the X Window System to run x86 programs for Microsoft Windows. Alternately, those wishing to port a Windows application to a Unix-like system can compile it against the Wine libraries.

Xenia Git (2024/02/24)

EmuCR: XeniaXenia Git (2024/02/24) is compiled. Xenia is an experimental emulator for the Xbox 360. It does not run games (yet).

Vita3K Git (2024/02/24)

EmuCR: Vita3KVita3K Git (2024/02/24) is compiled. Vita3K is an experimental PlayStation Vita emulator for Windows, Linux and macOS. The emulator currently runs a few homebrew programs in .vpk format. No commercial games are playable.

Ares v136

EmuCR: aresAres v136 is released. ares is a multi-system emulator that began development on October 14th, 2004. It is a descendent of higan and bsnes, and focuses on accuracy and preservation.
