EmuCR: rpcs3 rpcs3 Git (2024/03/08) is compiled. RPCS3 is an open-source Sony PlayStation 3 emulator and debugger written in C++ for Windows and Linux. The emulator has been in development since early 2011 and currently supports modern DirectX 12, Vulkan and OpenGL renderers. The emulator is capable of booting and playing a decent amount of commercial games and PlayStation 3 SDK samples. Many more titles are also becoming playable with future development by contributors.

Project64 Git (2024/03/08)

EmuCR: Project 64Project64 Git (2024/03/08) is compiled. Project 64 is a proprietary Nintendo 64 emulator for Windows. It employs a plug-in system that allows third-party software developers to create their own implementation of a specified component. Project64 allows the user to play Nintendo 64 games on a computer by reading ROM images, either dumped from the read-only memory of a Nintendo 64 cartridge or created directly on the computer as homebrew. Project64 started as an exercise by Jabo and zilmar in an attempt to see if they were capable of programming a Nintendo 64 emulator. It's open source now.

EmuCR NanoBoyAdvanceNanoBoyAdvance Git (2024/03/08) is compiled. NanoboyAdvance is a Nintendo Game Boy Advance (TM) emulator written in C++17. The goal is to create a minimal, accurate and reasonably efficient Game Boy Advance emulator in modern C++. The emulator implements the core hardware completely and with high accuracy. Almost all games can be emulated without any known issues, even the 'Classic NES' titles which abuse a variety of edge-cases and undefined behaviour.

puNES Git (2024/03/08)

EmuCR: puNESpuNES Git (2024/03/08) is compiled. puNES is a NES emulator. Currently the program supports mappers 0, MMC1, UNROM, CNROM, and the sound is available. It uses the SDL libraries and it works on both Linux and Windows.

EmuCR: DuckStation DuckStation Git (2024/03/08) is compiled. DuckStation is an simulator/emulator of the Sony PlayStation(TM) console, focusing on playability, speed, and long-term maintainability. The goal is to be as accurate as possible while maintaining performance suitable for low-end devices. "Hack" options are discouraged, the default configuration should support all playable games with only some of the enhancements having compatibility issues.

OpenMSX Git (2024/03/08)

EmuCR:OpenMSX OpenMSX Git (2024/03/08) is compiled. OpenMSX is an open source MSX emulator which is free according to the Debian Free Software Guidelines, available under the GNU General Public License.For copyright reasons the emulator cannot be distributed with original BIOS ROM images. OpenMSX includes C-BIOS a minimal implementation of the MSX BIOS, allowing to play quite some games without the need to have an original MSX BIOS ROM image. You can also use your own BIOS ROM image if you please.

EmuCR: NPlayers.iniNPlayers.ini v0.263 is released. NPlayers.ini fills the "Players" column of your favourite MAME / SDLMAME frontend letting you know how many players the game supports and if it's simultaneous play or not. You'll find more info in the text file included in the zip archive.

simple64 v2024.03.1

simple64 v2024.03.1 is released. simple64 uses simple64-gui, a brand new N64 frontend written in Qt6. It supports all of the things you’d expect from a frontend (savestate management, pausing, screenshots, etc.). simple64 comes bundled with paraLLEl-RDP for graphics, and a heavily modified version of mupen64plus-core. It should give you the best out-of-the-box experience available for N64 gaming.

Gopher2600 Special ACE preview

Gopher2600 Special ACE preview is released. Gopher2600 is an emulator for the Atari 2600. Whilst the performance is not as efficient as some other emulators it is none-the-less suitable for playing games, on a reasonably modern computer, at the required 60fps. (The development machine for Gopher2600 has been an i3-3225, dating from around 2012.)
