  3. damn, still not known what causes the elevator freeze in infinite space, the game itself it ain't for obvious reasons that it doesn't do it with other emulators.

Also, it runs now perfectly graphically on OpenGL,
and if im not mistaken even faster than with SoftRasterizer. So people you can now switch your 3d settings when playing infinite space to opengl.

If anyone has an idea as to what could cause the elevator freeze in DeSmuMe do share please.

  4. the fastest way to get it resolved is to post it as a bug in DeSmuME project page http://sourceforge.net/projects/desmume/ under develop>bugs section...

  5. that's develop>tracker>bugs - forgot that one, also you have to login to souceforge to report

  6. Thanks for this release.

I don't know if this may help, but the elevator freeze in infinite space lasts noticeably longer in SVN r3423 64bit than 32bit. Also, my game white screens after battles and save attempts with 64bit, but not with 32bit.

  7. Seems the same to me, some planets freeze time is shorter than others.

  8. One thing that does reduce the freeze by about a quarter is turning off Config > Frameskip > Limit Framerate.

  9. OK people
here is a quote that might be a step towards solving the problem because it might the localization.

" its not the actual elevator thats the problem, rather the planet surface being loaded as it does the same when exiting the tavern, shiprights etc." - Squall-Leonhart

    so, any ideas

  10. I'm telling you guys - the developers don't know about this bug, because noone posted it on souceforge, im not playing infinite space, but if you want to get it resolved fast inform the devs lol

  12. r3444 is available, but it's the first time the bug has been posted there so it may not contain a fix unless the devs read the forums.

  13. so, lets set up comments here as base of operations for fixing the bug lol

how do we draw the attention of devs to that topic ?

  14. Posting a bug on their bug tracker usually draws their attention to it. As has just been done.

  15. Ok, add to the bug that the sound is still a little off, with battles for instance,
and as seen in the command window lots of sound buffers appear (although i dont know hat that means lol), maybe its also the sound that bugs out the game when loading the surface by elevator (cant rule out the possibility)

  16. oh, and now i remembered something else, in softrasterizer and opengl, the space map is blue and graphically glitched in that matter
(this may also be the cause of frame rates dropping heavily when choosing planets and
going back and forth), it should be black for starters
