rpcs3 Git (2025/03/13)

EmuCR: rpcs3 rpcs3 Git (2025/03/13) is compiled. RPCS3 is an open-source Sony PlayStation 3 emulator and debugger written in C++ for Windows and Linux. The emulator has been in development since early 2011 and currently supports modern DirectX 12, Vulkan and OpenGL renderers. The emulator is capable of booting and playing a decent amount of commercial games and PlayStation 3 SDK samples. Many more titles are also becoming playable with future development by contributors.

ChonkyStation3 Git (2025/03/13)

ChonkyStation3 Git (2025/03/13) is complied. ChonkyStation3 is a work-in-progress emulator for the PlayStation 3 system. It can currently boot a few simple commercial games.

DuckStation Git (2025/03/13)

EmuCR: DuckStation DuckStation Git (2025/03/13) is compiled. DuckStation is an simulator/emulator of the Sony PlayStation(TM) console, focusing on playability, speed, and long-term maintainability. The goal is to be as accurate as possible while maintaining performance suitable for low-end devices. "Hack" options are discouraged, the default configuration should support all playable games with only some of the enhancements having compatibility issues.

Flycast Git (2025/03/13)

EmuCR: Flycast Flycast Git (2025/03/13) is compiled. Flycast is a multi-platform Sega Dreamcast, Naomi and Atomiswave emulator derived from reicast.

PCSX-Redux Git (2025/03/13)

EmuCR: PCSX-ReduxPCSX-Redux Git (2025/03/13) is compiled. This is yet another fork of the Playstation Emulator, PCSX. While the work here is very much in progress, the goal is roughly the following: Bring the codebase to more up to date code standards. Get rid of the plugin system and create a single monolithic codebase that handles all aspects of the playstation emulation. Write everything on top of SDL/OpenGL3+/ImGui for portability and readability. Improve the debugging experience. Improve the rendering experience.

Project64 Git (2025/03/13)

EmuCR: Project 64Project64 Git (2025/03/13) is compiled. Project 64 is a proprietary Nintendo 64 emulator for Windows. It employs a plug-in system that allows third-party software developers to create their own implementation of a specified component. Project64 allows the user to play Nintendo 64 games on a computer by reading ROM images, either dumped from the read-only memory of a Nintendo 64 cartridge or created directly on the computer as homebrew. Project64 started as an exercise by Jabo and zilmar in an attempt to see if they were capable of programming a Nintendo 64 emulator. It's open source now.

NooDS Git (2025/03/13)

EmuCR: NooDSNooDS Git (2025/03/13) is compiled. A (hopefully!) speedy NDS emulator. NooDS is available for Linux, macOS, Windows, and the Nintendo Switch. Automatic builds are provided; to use them, you'll need to install wxWidgets on Linux or macOS, or the latest Visual C++ runtime library on Windows. NooDS doesn't provide high-level emulation of the BIOS yet. To actually run games, you'll need BIOS files, named "bios7.bin" and "bios9.bin", and a firmware file, named "firmware.bin", placed in the same directory as the executable. On the Switch, you'll also need to have a ROM file named "rom.nds" in the directory, because there's no file browser yet.

FB Neo Git (2025/03/13)

EmuCR: FB AlphaFB Neo Git (2025/03/13) is compiled. FinalBurn Neo is an Emulator for Arcade Games & Select Consoles. It is based on the emulators FinalBurn and old versions of MAME.

OpenMSX Git (2025/03/13)

EmuCR:OpenMSX OpenMSX Git (2025/03/13) is compiled. OpenMSX is an open source MSX emulator which is free according to the Debian Free Software Guidelines, available under the GNU General Public License.For copyright reasons the emulator cannot be distributed with original BIOS ROM images. OpenMSX includes C-BIOS a minimal implementation of the MSX BIOS, allowing to play quite some games without the need to have an original MSX BIOS ROM image. You can also use your own BIOS ROM image if you please.

DOSBox-Staging Git (2025/03/13)

EmuCR: DOSBoxDOSBox-Staging Git (2025/03/13) is compiled. This repository attempts to modernize the DOSBox project by using current development practices and tools, fixing issues, adding features that better support today's systems, and sending patches upstream.

BizHawk Git (2025/03/13)

EmuCR: BizHawkBizHawk Git (2025/03/13) is compiled. BizHawk is a A multi-system emulator written in C#. BizHawk provides nice features for casual gamers such as full screen, and joypad support in addition to full rerecording and debugging tools for all system cores.

NintendulatorNRS (2025/03/12)

NintendulatorNintendulatorNRS (2025/03/12) is released. NintendulatorNRS is a Famicom/NES (and its derivate such as the VRT chipsets) emulator for Windows. It is a fork of Nintendulator (by Quietust) maintained by NewRisingSun which offers an extremly wide compatibility.

Xenia Git (2025/03/13)

EmuCR: XeniaXenia Git (2025/03/13) is compiled. Xenia is an experimental emulator for the Xbox 360. It does not run games (yet).

PCSX2 v2.3.218

EmuCR: PCSX2PCSX2 v2.3.218 is released. PCSX2 is a free and open-source PlayStation 2 (PS2) emulator. Its purpose is to emulate the PS2's hardware, using a combination of MIPS CPU Interpreters, Recompilers and a Virtual Machine which manages hardware states and PS2 system memory. This allows you to play PS2 games on your PC, with many additional features and benefits.

Mesen2 Git (2025/03/13)

EmuCR: MesenMesen2 Git (2025/03/13) is compiled. Mesen is a NES/Famicom emulator and NSF player. It is still a work in progress - some features are currently incomplete or may change in future versions.

DosPanel v1.7.7

DosPanel v1.7.7 is released. The program DosPanel is a graphical user interface for DOSBox. The user can make all required settings needed to start DOS applications in DOSBox without concern the somewhat crude syntax of the configuration file. Each DOS application can have its individual settings stored by the program.

zxian v24

zxian v24 is released. zxian is a ZX Spectrum emulator written in C, using SDL2 for graphics, input/output, and audio. As with my other projects, the source is available for download. I built it with Visual Studio Community 2019 (with C++ core features installed).

Gaseous Server v1.7.11-preview.2 is released. This is the server for the Gaseous system. It offers ROM and title management, as well as some basic in browser emulation of those ROMs.

RomM v3.8.1-beta.1

EmuCR: RomM RomM v3.8.1-beta.1 is released. RomM (ROM Manager) allows you to scan, enrich, browse and play your game collection with a clean and responsive interface. With support for multiple platforms, various naming schemes, and custom tags, RomM is a must-have for anyone who plays on emulators.

ArcadeManager v25.1

ArcadeManager v25.1 is released. ArcadeManager is a rom management tool that will work with any arcade emulator romset. It helps you filter your arcade rom collection (MAME/FBNeo) by removing unwanted, bad, and unplayable games. It also includes several selection of "best games", if you feel a bit lost among the several thousand games that full MAME romsets provide, and want a quick way to just keep the best ones. It also installs overlays/bezels, but only Retropie and Recalbox are currently supported.

Simple Launcher v3.11

Simple Launcher v3.11 is released. Simple Launcher is an emulator frontend that makes playing retro games a breeze.

Supermode Sinden v0.3a-5b2c589

EmuCR: SupermodelSupermode Sinden v0.3a-5b2c589 is released. This is a fork of model3emu-code to add native Sinden light gun support. This fork uses ManyMouse to provide 2 player gun support in Linux and MacOSX. Two player mouse input in Windows is currently unchanged (supported in the official release) via the Windows Raw Input system. A Windows package is provided for Sinden border support.
