Luna's Project64 v3.6.5

Luna's Project64 v3.6.5 is released. This is a fork of Project64 3.0.1 that was made to have a Linux compatible alternative to 2.4 (Yes, it works on Windows too). It is not focused on accuracy or compatibility, but rather on functionality that improves the general gameplay experience on a select set of games. As such, it removes the nagware screen, and it contains the plugins that are necessary to play these games without issues.

EmuCR:WineWine v11.11 is released. Wine is a project to allow a PC running a Unix-like operating system and the X Window System to run x86 programs for Microsoft Windows. Alternately, those wishing to port a Windows application to a Unix-like system can compile it against the Wine libraries.

PCSX2x6 v0.0.17 is released. A fork of PCSX2 oriented to emulation of NAMCO System246 and System256 units.

MAME4droid 2026(0.288) v1.36.4

EmuCR:MameMAME4droid 2026(0.288) v1.36.4 is released. MAME4droid is developed by David Valdeita (Seleuco) as a port of the MAME emulator by MAMEDev and contributors. It emulates arcade games and systems like ZX Spectrum, Amstrad CPC, MSX etc. This version of MAME support over 40000 different ROMs.

Gentleman v1.2.0

EmuCR: Snes9xGentleman v1.2.0 is released. Gentleman is a MiSTer-inspired emulator frontend for PC. The goal is to bring the simple, fast, menu-driven feel of the MiSTer interface to a PC-based emulator setup. Instead of using a database-heavy frontend, Gentleman builds its menu from a normal menu/ folder. Folders become menu categories, and JSON files become launcher entries.

Amiberry v8.2.0

Amiberry v8.2.0 is released. Amiberry is an optimized Amiga emulator for ARM-based SoCs (such as the Raspberry Pi, Odroid XU4, ASUS Tinkerboard, etc.), that brings you the highest performance Amiga emulation. It’s an open-source project, build with the efforts of several people and based on previous work of others.

Xenia Edge Git (2026/06/13)

EmuCR: XeniaXenia Edge Git (2026/06/13) is released. Xenia Edge is yet another experimental fork of the Xenia emulator, mainly based on Xenia Canary but with the aim of quicker iteration and improvements to Vulkan backend and Linux platform in particular. Windows of course remains fully supported as well and will benefit from changes made here especially with its Vulkan backend.

Xenia Git (2026/06/13)

EmuCR: XeniaXenia Git (2026/06/13) is compiled. Xenia is an experimental emulator for the Xbox 360. It does not run games (yet).

Stella Git (2026/06/13)

EmuCR: StellaStella Git (2026/06/13) is compiled. Stella is a multi-platform Atari 2600 VCS emulator. The Atari 2600 Video Computer System (VCS), introduced in 1977, was the most popular home video game system of the early 1980's. Now you can enjoy all of your favorite Atari 2600 games on your PC thanks to Stella!

Vita3K Git (2026/06/13)

EmuCR: Vita3KVita3K Git (2026/06/13) is compiled. Vita3K is an experimental PlayStation Vita emulator for Windows, Linux and macOS. The emulator currently runs a few homebrew programs in .vpk format. No commercial games are playable.

PCSX2 v2.7.410

EmuCR: PCSX2PCSX2 v2.7.410 is released. PCSX2 is a free and open-source PlayStation 2 (PS2) emulator. Its purpose is to emulate the PS2's hardware, using a combination of MIPS CPU Interpreters, Recompilers and a Virtual Machine which manages hardware states and PS2 system memory. This allows you to play PS2 games on your PC, with many additional features and benefits.

ShadPS4 Pre (2026/06/12)

EmuCR: ShadPS4ShadPS4 Pre (2026/06/12) is released. An early PS4 emulator for Windows and Linux written in C++.

Snes9x Git (2026/06/13)

EmuCR: Snes9xSnes9x Git (2026/06/13) is compiled. Snes9x is a portable, freeware Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES) emulator. It basically allows you to play most games designed for the SNES and Super Famicom Nintendo game systems on your PC or Workstation; which includes some real gems that were only ever released in Japan. Snes9x is the result of well over three years worth of part-time hacking, coding, recoding, debugging, divorce, etc. (just kidding about the divorce bit). Snes9x is coded in C++, with three assembler CPU emulation cores on the i386 Linux and Windows ports.

rpcs3 Git (2026/06/13)

EmuCR: rpcs3 rpcs3 Git (2026/06/13) is compiled. RPCS3 is an open-source Sony PlayStation 3 emulator and debugger written in C++ for Windows and Linux. The emulator has been in development since early 2011 and currently supports modern DirectX 12, Vulkan and OpenGL renderers. The emulator is capable of booting and playing a decent amount of commercial games and PlayStation 3 SDK samples. Many more titles are also becoming playable with future development by contributors.

Project64 Git (2026/06/13)

EmuCR: Project 64Project64 Git (2026/06/13) is compiled. Project 64 is a proprietary Nintendo 64 emulator for Windows. It employs a plug-in system that allows third-party software developers to create their own implementation of a specified component. Project64 allows the user to play Nintendo 64 games on a computer by reading ROM images, either dumped from the read-only memory of a Nintendo 64 cartridge or created directly on the computer as homebrew. Project64 started as an exercise by Jabo and zilmar in an attempt to see if they were capable of programming a Nintendo 64 emulator. It's open source now.

FB Neo Git (2026/06/13)

EmuCR: FB AlphaFB Neo Git (2026/06/13) is compiled. FinalBurn Neo is an Emulator for Arcade Games & Select Consoles. It is based on the emulators FinalBurn and old versions of MAME.

DOSBox-X Git (2026/06/13)

EmuCR: DOSBoxDOSBox-X Git (2026/06/13) is compiled. DOSBox-x is a branch of DOSBox. DOSBox emulates an Intel x86 PC, complete with sound, graphics, mouse, joystick, modem, etc., necessary for running many old MS-DOS games that simply cannot be run on modern PCs and operating systems, such as Microsoft Windows XP, Windows Vista, Linux and FreeBSD.

DuckStation Git (2026/06/13)

EmuCR: DuckStation DuckStation Git (2026/06/13) is compiled. DuckStation is an simulator/emulator of the Sony PlayStation(TM) console, focusing on playability, speed, and long-term maintainability. The goal is to be as accurate as possible while maintaining performance suitable for low-end devices. "Hack" options are discouraged, the default configuration should support all playable games with only some of the enhancements having compatibility issues.

PPSSPP Git (2026/06/13)

EmuCR: PPSSPPPPSSPP Git (2026/06/13) is compiled. PPSSPP is a fast and portable PSP emulator for Android, Windows, Mac, and Linux, written in C++.

Citron-NEO Git (2026/06/13)

EmuCR: Citron Citron-NEO Git (2026/06/13) is released. A reincarnation of the now gone yuzu emulator; stripped down to the bare minimal requirements.

Ares Git (2026/06/13)

EmuCR: aresAres Git (2026/06/13) is compiled. ares is a multi-system emulator that began development on October 14th, 2004. It is a descendent of higan and bsnes, and focuses on accuracy and preservation.

3Beans (2026/06/13)

EmuCR: 3Beans3Beans (2026/06/13) is released. 3Beans emulates the 3DS at a low level, which means that it runs the entire OS as if it were on real hardware. It can boot the home menu and play cartridge-based games, but it's still young and has plenty of issues. It's currently fully interpreted and software-rendered, which makes it portable but slow. If the project matures enough, I might try to incorporate hardware acceleration or high-level elements to achieve reasonable speeds.
