Pureikyubu Git (2026/07/27)

EmuCR: dolwinPureikyubu Git (2026/07/27) is compiled. pureikyubu is work-in-progress emulator of Nintendo GameCube console. The goal of the emulator is to research the hardware features of GameCube and reverse engineer technologies used to develop games for this platform. GameCube is the hardware masterpiece of Nintendo/ArtX engineers and it's a pleasure to explore this device and discover something new for yourself.

rpcs3 Git (2026/07/27)

EmuCR: rpcs3 rpcs3 Git (2026/07/27) is compiled. RPCS3 is an open-source Sony PlayStation 3 emulator and debugger written in C++ for Windows and Linux. The emulator has been in development since early 2011 and currently supports modern DirectX 12, Vulkan and OpenGL renderers. The emulator is capable of booting and playing a decent amount of commercial games and PlayStation 3 SDK samples. Many more titles are also becoming playable with future development by contributors.

OpenMSX Git (2026/07/27)

EmuCR:OpenMSX OpenMSX Git (2026/07/27) is compiled. OpenMSX is an open source MSX emulator which is free according to the Debian Free Software Guidelines, available under the GNU General Public License.For copyright reasons the emulator cannot be distributed with original BIOS ROM images. OpenMSX includes C-BIOS a minimal implementation of the MSX BIOS, allowing to play quite some games without the need to have an original MSX BIOS ROM image. You can also use your own BIOS ROM image if you please.

EmuCR: NxEmuNxEmu Dev v0.7.0-516-9270b8f is released. NxEmu is an experimental open-source emulator for the Nintendo Switch from N3xoX1.

NooDS Git (2026/07/27)

EmuCR: NooDSNooDS Git (2026/07/27) is compiled. A (hopefully!) speedy NDS emulator. NooDS is available for Linux, macOS, Windows, and the Nintendo Switch. Automatic builds are provided; to use them, you'll need to install wxWidgets on Linux or macOS, or the latest Visual C++ runtime library on Windows. NooDS doesn't provide high-level emulation of the BIOS yet. To actually run games, you'll need BIOS files, named "bios7.bin" and "bios9.bin", and a firmware file, named "firmware.bin", placed in the same directory as the executable. On the Switch, you'll also need to have a ROM file named "rom.nds" in the directory, because there's no file browser yet.

DuckStation Git (2026/07/27)

EmuCR: DuckStation DuckStation Git (2026/07/27) is compiled. DuckStation is an simulator/emulator of the Sony PlayStation(TM) console, focusing on playability, speed, and long-term maintainability. The goal is to be as accurate as possible while maintaining performance suitable for low-end devices. "Hack" options are discouraged, the default configuration should support all playable games with only some of the enhancements having compatibility issues.

DOSBox-X Git (2026/07/27)

EmuCR: DOSBoxDOSBox-X Git (2026/07/27) is compiled. DOSBox-x is a branch of DOSBox. DOSBox emulates an Intel x86 PC, complete with sound, graphics, mouse, joystick, modem, etc., necessary for running many old MS-DOS games that simply cannot be run on modern PCs and operating systems, such as Microsoft Windows XP, Windows Vista, Linux and FreeBSD.

EmuCR: DolphinDolphin Git 2606-222 is compiled. This is the trunk of Dolphin Project. Dolphin is the first Gamecube emulator able to run commercial games! Dolphin is a Gamecube, Wii and Triforce (the arcade machine based on the Gamecube) emulator which supports many extra features and abilities not present on the original consoles. It has a partial Wii support and plays most Gamecube games.

WinUAE v6.1.0 Beta 10

EmuCR:WinUAEWinUAE v6.1.0 Beta 10 is released. WinUAE is the commodore amiga emulator for Windows. WinUAE is a mostly complete software emulation of the hardware of the Commodore Amiga 500/1000/2000. A Commodore Amiga, for those who don’t know, is a 16/32 bit computer system based on the Motorola 680×0 CPU and a few specially designed custom chips that provide very good graphics and sound capabilities. Its first incarnation, the A1000, appeared in 1985, followed by the highly successful A500 and A2000 models. WinUAE is a port of the originally written for Unixish systems UAE; but over time, it seems the Windows port, WinUAE has become the best version available on any platform. WinUAE is free software: you are welcome to distribute copies of it and/or modify it, under certain conditions. There is no warranty of any kind for UAE. For more details concerning these issues, please read the GNU General Public License, which describes the terms under which WinUAE is distributed.

EmuCR: SDLVICE WinVICE r46189 is released. WinVICE is a program that executes programs intended for the old 8-bit computers. The current version emulates the C64, the C128, the VIC20, all the PET models (except the SuperPET 9000, which is out of line anyway), the PLUS4 and the CBM-II (aka C610).

Xenia Edge Git (2026/07/27)

EmuCR: XeniaXenia Edge Git (2026/07/23) is released. Xenia Edge is yet another experimental fork of the Xenia emulator, mainly based on Xenia Canary but with the aim of quicker iteration and improvements to Vulkan backend and Linux platform in particular. Windows of course remains fully supported as well and will benefit from changes made here especially with its Vulkan backend.

CloudpilotEmu v2.2.2

CloudpilotEmu v2.2.2 is released. CloudpilotEmu is an emulator for Dragonball-based PalmOS devices that runs in a web browser. In particular, the emulator works on iOS. The emulator is derived from the original POSE emulator. Please see below for the list of currently supported devices.

EmuCR: SupermodelSupermodel v0.3a-20260726 is released. Supermodel emulates Sega's Model 3 arcade platform, allowing you to relive state-of-the-art 3D arcade gaming as it existed from 1996 through 1999. It uses OpenGL, SDL2, and can run on Windows, Linux, and macOS. It also supports network play on low-latency network connections. The source code is freely available under the terms of the GNU General Public License.

Supermode Sinden v0.3a-24d2ffc

EmuCR: SupermodelSupermode Sinden v0.3a-24d2ffc is released. This is a fork of model3emu-code to add native Sinden light gun support. This fork uses ManyMouse to provide 2 player gun support in Linux and MacOSX. Two player mouse input in Windows is currently unchanged (supported in the official release) via the Windows Raw Input system. A Windows package is provided for Sinden border support.

SpeccySE v2.0a

SpeccySE v2.0a is released. SpeccySE is a ZX Spectrum 48K / 128K Emulator for the DS/DSi. To run requires one or both of the original ZX Spectrum BIOS ROMs. Place 48.ROM and 128.ROM (exactly so named) into the same directory as the emulator or else in /roms/bios or /data/bios

NgpCraft Emulator v2.7.1

NgpCraft Emulator v2.7.1 is released. A Neo Geo Pocket / Neo Geo Pocket Color emulator: a fast native C++ core (TLCS-900H + Z80 + K2GE video) driven by a PyQt6 desktop shell. Its timing is calibrated against real hardware — instruction-fetch wait-states on the cartridge flash, silicon-measured MUL/DIV and LDIR costs — so self-timed games (Cool Boarders Pocket, Densha de Go) run at their true 30 fps instead of the ~2× too fast that most emulators show.

CraziiEmu v0.29-alpha

EmuCR: craziiEmuCraziiEmu v0.29-alpha is released. CraziiEmu is an early-stage PlayStation 5 emulator intended for research, reverse engineering, and emulator development. Compatibility is currently limited, many kernel services remain incomplete, and crashes or missing functionality are expected.

Pom1 v1.9.4

Pom1 v1.9.4 is released. Pom1 is an Apple 1 emulator and is being ported to C from the original Java version. It uses the Simple DirectMedia Layer library and works on most platforms.
