N64 Git (2026/09/17)

EmuCR: N64N64 Git (2026/09/17) is compiled. Experimental low-level N64 emulator written in C and a bit of C++. Still under heavy development and not ready for prime time. Compatibility is not high and performance is not great (yet.) The goals of this project are to create a low-level emulator with good compatibility, while learning a lot along the way.

Snes9x Git (2026/09/17)

EmuCR: Snes9xSnes9x Git (2026/09/17) is compiled. Snes9x is a portable, freeware Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES) emulator. It basically allows you to play most games designed for the SNES and Super Famicom Nintendo game systems on your PC or Workstation; which includes some real gems that were only ever released in Japan. Snes9x is the result of well over three years worth of part-time hacking, coding, recoding, debugging, divorce, etc. (just kidding about the divorce bit). Snes9x is coded in C++, with three assembler CPU emulation cores on the i386 Linux and Windows ports.

rpcs3 Git (2026/09/17)

EmuCR: rpcs3 rpcs3 Git (2026/09/17) is compiled. RPCS3 is an open-source Sony PlayStation 3 emulator and debugger written in C++ for Windows and Linux. The emulator has been in development since early 2011 and currently supports modern DirectX 12, Vulkan and OpenGL renderers. The emulator is capable of booting and playing a decent amount of commercial games and PlayStation 3 SDK samples. Many more titles are also becoming playable with future development by contributors.

Pureikyubu Git (2026/09/17)

EmuCR: dolwinPureikyubu Git (2026/09/17) is compiled. pureikyubu is work-in-progress emulator of Nintendo GameCube console. The goal of the emulator is to research the hardware features of GameCube and reverse engineer technologies used to develop games for this platform. GameCube is the hardware masterpiece of Nintendo/ArtX engineers and it's a pleasure to explore this device and discover something new for yourself.

OpenMSX Git (2026/09/17)

EmuCR:OpenMSX OpenMSX Git (2026/09/17) is compiled. OpenMSX is an open source MSX emulator which is free according to the Debian Free Software Guidelines, available under the GNU General Public License.For copyright reasons the emulator cannot be distributed with original BIOS ROM images. OpenMSX includes C-BIOS a minimal implementation of the MSX BIOS, allowing to play quite some games without the need to have an original MSX BIOS ROM image. You can also use your own BIOS ROM image if you please.

mGBA Git (2026/09/17)

EmuCR: mGBAmGBA Git (2026/09/17) is compiled. mGBA is a new emulator for running Game Boy Advance games. It aims to be faster and more accurate than many existing Game Boy Advance emulators, as well as adding features that other emulators lack.

FB Neo Git (2026/09/17)

EmuCR: FB AlphaFB Neo Git (2026/09/17) is compiled. FinalBurn Neo is an Emulator for Arcade Games & Select Consoles. It is based on the emulators FinalBurn and old versions of MAME.

Flycast Git (2026/09/17)

EmuCR: Flycast Flycast Git (2026/09/17) is compiled. Flycast is a multi-platform Sega Dreamcast, Naomi and Atomiswave emulator derived from reicast.

Dolphin Git 2606-374

EmuCR: DolphinDolphin Git 2606-374 is compiled. This is the trunk of Dolphin Project. Dolphin is the first Gamecube emulator able to run commercial games! Dolphin is a Gamecube, Wii and Triforce (the arcade machine based on the Gamecube) emulator which supports many extra features and abilities not present on the original consoles. It has a partial Wii support and plays most Gamecube games.

DuckStation Git (2026/09/17)

EmuCR: DuckStation DuckStation Git (2026/09/17) is compiled. DuckStation is an simulator/emulator of the Sony PlayStation(TM) console, focusing on playability, speed, and long-term maintainability. The goal is to be as accurate as possible while maintaining performance suitable for low-end devices. "Hack" options are discouraged, the default configuration should support all playable games with only some of the enhancements having compatibility issues.

DOSBox-Staging Git (2026/09/17)

EmuCR: DOSBoxDOSBox-Staging Git (2026/09/17) is compiled. This repository attempts to modernize the DOSBox project by using current development practices and tools, fixing issues, adding features that better support today's systems, and sending patches upstream.

PPSSPP Git (2026/09/17)

EmuCR: PPSSPPPPSSPP Git (2026/09/17) is compiled. PPSSPP is a fast and portable PSP emulator for Android, Windows, Mac, and Linux, written in C++.

Azahar Git (2026/09/17)

EmuCR: Azahar Azahar Git (2026/09/17) is compiled. An open-source 3DS emulator project based on Citra.

Xenia Edge Git (2026/09/17)

EmuCR: XeniaXenia Edge Git (2026/09/17) is released. Xenia Edge is yet another experimental fork of the Xenia emulator, mainly based on Xenia Canary but with the aim of quicker iteration and improvements to Vulkan backend and Linux platform in particular. Windows of course remains fully supported as well and will benefit from changes made here especially with its Vulkan backend.

KytyPS5 (2026/09/17)

KytyPS5 (2026/09/17) is released. KytyPS5 is a PlayStation 5 compatibility layer. The project is still in an early stage of development, so compatibility is limited and behavior may change quickly between builds.

MAME-NES v1.8

MAMEMAME-NES v1.8 is released. This branch contains a major NES/Famicom accuracy update for MAME. The main M6502/NES CPU timing path, APU, and PPU have been heavily reworked toward cycle-accurate behavior. The goal of this work is to improve hardware accuracy while keeping the implementation compatible with MAME's existing NES/Famicom architecture.

EmuCR: LazuliLazuli Nightly (2026/09/17) is released. GameCube emulator. lazuli is a work-in-progress GameCube emulator. lazuli is still very much a toy, but it's able to boot multiple commercial games and lots of homebrew.

OpenROM v2.7.3 is released. OpenROM is a free, open-source Universal ROM Conversion Suite built to replace every proprietary and fragmented ROM tool out there. Powered by a modern Flutter desktop UI with a gaming dashboard aesthetic, real-time terminal logging, batch processing, smart platform detection, and a full headless CLI for automation — all running 100% offline.

Nemulator v6.0

EmuCR:nemulatorNemulator v6.0 is released. Nemulator is win32 NES emulator.nemulator 2.0 uses DirectX 10, therefore Windows Vista or Windows 7 is required. If you receive an error message stating that d3dx10_33.dll is missing, please download the latest DirectX 10 update from Microsoft at microsoft.com. You need a lot of horsepower (probably a dual-CPU/core system) to run the menu at full speed.

EmuCR:MameMAME4droid 2026(0.289) v1.41 is released. MAME4droid is developed by David Valdeita (Seleuco) as a port of the MAME emulator by MAMEDev and contributors. It emulates arcade games and systems like ZX Spectrum, Amstrad CPC, MSX etc. This version of MAME support over 40000 different ROMs.

EmuCR: NESdNESd v0.20.0 is released. A NES Emulator written in Dart and Flutter. Supports macOS, Windows, Android and Linux (tested on Steam Deck).

Ruzu v0.0.9

EmuCR: RuzuRuzu v0.0.9 is released. ruzu is a Nintendo Switch emulator written in Rust and it began as an experiment nobody expected to work.
