DeSmuME supports save states, the ability to increase the size of the screen and it supports filters to improve image quality. DeSmuME also supports microphone use on Windows and Linux ports, as well as direct video and audio recording. The emulator also features a built-in movie recorder.

WarMUX v11.04

EmuCR: WarMUX WarMUX v11.04 is released. WarMUX is a free and open-source game in the genre of "turn-based artillery games" like Scorched Earth or Worms. The project was started in December 2002 by Lawrence Azzoug Moy as Wormux, and was renamed to Warmux in November 2010. Using at a time the ClanLib library, it now uses SDL; the game is multiplatform, available for Windows and Unix-like systems (including Linux, FreeBSD, Android, Maemo, Symbian^3 and Mac OS X).

EmuCR: MameXMMameXM v1.04.188 is released. MameXM is a port of MAME (Multiple Arcade Machine Emulator) for Symbian S60v5 OS. This emulator can run over 2000 games of 'golden' arcade era ('80 and '90) and NeoGeo games too. MameXM is freeware, released to public domain.

Fceux SVN r2183

EmuCR:FceuxFceux SVN r2183 is released. FCEUX is a cross platform, NTSC and PAL Famicom/NES emulator that is an evolution of the original FCE Ultra emulator. Over time FCE Ultra had separated into many separate branches.The concept behind FCEUX is to merge elements from FCE Ultra, FCEU rerecording, FCEUXD, FCEUXDSP, and FCEU-mm into a single branch of FCEU. As the X implies, it is an all-encompassing FCEU emulator that gives the best of all worlds for the general player, the ROM-hacking community, and the Tool-Assisted Speedrun Community.

CXMB for 6.38 ME

EmuCR: CXMBCXMB for 6.38 ME is released. CXMB is a custom firmware plugin that allows users to install custom XMB themes in CTF format straight from Memory Stick. An Asian developer known as Patpat has released a version of the popular plugin CXMB (Custom XMB) compatible with 6.20 TN-A. This plugin will allow users using the HEN to install custom .ctf themes instead of the regular old PSP theme or other official themes.

MESS SVN r11239

EmuCR: MESSMESS SVN r11239 is released. MESS(Multi Emulator Super System) is an open source emulator which emulates a large variety of different systems. MESS is a source-available project which documents the hardware for a wide variety of (mostly vintage) computers, video game consoles, and calculators through software emulation, as MAME does for arcade games. As a nice side effect to this documentation, MESS allows software and games for these hardware platforms to be run on modern PCs.
