DeSmuME SVN r3935 is released. DeSmuME is an open source Nintendo DS(NDS) emulator for Linux, Mac OS and Windows. DeSmuME supports save states, the ability to increase the size of the screen and it supports filters to improve image quality. DeSmuME also supports microphone use on Windows and Linux ports, as well as direct video and audio recording. The emulator also features a built-in movie recorder.
PS3 NEWS - N64 Emulator Alpha Version on PS3 (2011/02/22)
An exciting new emulator project surfaced today. A team of three guys has taken on the challenge of porting a Nintendo 64 emulator to the PS3. The project seems to have been underway for sometime, as progress is quite far. The team has released three videos showcasing that the emulator is in playable form but still needs some work. Currently the emulator is 1 player only via keyboard, graphics work excellent for most games tried, and the emu has no audio support. The team has made no indications on when a release will occur, but it doesn't seem too far off.

nGlide v0.95
nGlide v0.95 is released. nGlide is a 3Dfx Voodoo Glide wrapper which means it 'emulates' 3Dfx Glide Library, so you don't need to have a 3Dfx Voodoo card to play games written for Glide API. Both versions of Glide API are supported, Glide2 (glide2x.dll) and Glide3 (glide3x.dll). nGlide translates all Glide callings to Direct3D, which is supported by almost all today's graphics cards.

Altirra 1.9 Test 19 is released. Altirra is an Atari 8 bit Emulator on the Windows/DOS platform. Altirra emulates several models of the 8-bit Atari computers. This includes the the 800, 800XL, and 130XE versions. It has a lot of options, and compatibility is decent especially given the emulator's early stages. It also supports some copy protected games properly in emulation.

MESS SVN r10546
MESS SVN r10546 is released. MESS(Multi Emulator Super System) is an open source emulator which emulates a large variety of different systems. MESS is a source-available project which documents the hardware for a wide variety of (mostly vintage) computers, video game consoles, and calculators through software emulation, as MAME does for arcade games. As a nice side effect to this documentation, MESS allows software and games for these hardware platforms to be run on modern PCs.
