EmuCR: rpcs3 rpcs3 Git (2025/03/12) is compiled. RPCS3 is an open-source Sony PlayStation 3 emulator and debugger written in C++ for Windows and Linux. The emulator has been in development since early 2011 and currently supports modern DirectX 12, Vulkan and OpenGL renderers. The emulator is capable of booting and playing a decent amount of commercial games and PlayStation 3 SDK samples. Many more titles are also becoming playable with future development by contributors.

DuckStation Git (2025/03/12)

EmuCR: DuckStation DuckStation Git (2025/03/12) is compiled. DuckStation is an simulator/emulator of the Sony PlayStation(TM) console, focusing on playability, speed, and long-term maintainability. The goal is to be as accurate as possible while maintaining performance suitable for low-end devices. "Hack" options are discouraged, the default configuration should support all playable games with only some of the enhancements having compatibility issues.

PCSX-Redux Git (2025/03/12)

EmuCR: PCSX-ReduxPCSX-Redux Git (2025/03/12) is compiled. This is yet another fork of the Playstation Emulator, PCSX. While the work here is very much in progress, the goal is roughly the following: Bring the codebase to more up to date code standards. Get rid of the plugin system and create a single monolithic codebase that handles all aspects of the playstation emulation. Write everything on top of SDL/OpenGL3+/ImGui for portability and readability. Improve the debugging experience. Improve the rendering experience.

NooDS Git (2025/03/12)

EmuCR: NooDSNooDS Git (2025/03/12) is compiled. A (hopefully!) speedy NDS emulator. NooDS is available for Linux, macOS, Windows, and the Nintendo Switch. Automatic builds are provided; to use them, you'll need to install wxWidgets on Linux or macOS, or the latest Visual C++ runtime library on Windows. NooDS doesn't provide high-level emulation of the BIOS yet. To actually run games, you'll need BIOS files, named "bios7.bin" and "bios9.bin", and a firmware file, named "firmware.bin", placed in the same directory as the executable. On the Switch, you'll also need to have a ROM file named "rom.nds" in the directory, because there's no file browser yet.

EmuCR: FB AlphaFB Neo Git (2025/03/12) is compiled. FinalBurn Neo is an Emulator for Arcade Games & Select Consoles. It is based on the emulators FinalBurn and old versions of MAME.

Play! Git (2025/03/12)

EmuCR: Play!Play! Git (2025/03/12) is compiled. Play! is an attempt at creating an emulator for the PlayStation 2 (PS2) console on the Windows platform. It is currently written in C/C++. It uses an instruction caching/recompilation scheme to achieve better performance while emulating the CPU.

OpenMSX Git (2025/03/12)

EmuCR:OpenMSX OpenMSX Git (2025/03/12) is compiled. OpenMSX is an open source MSX emulator which is free according to the Debian Free Software Guidelines, available under the GNU General Public License.For copyright reasons the emulator cannot be distributed with original BIOS ROM images. OpenMSX includes C-BIOS a minimal implementation of the MSX BIOS, allowing to play quite some games without the need to have an original MSX BIOS ROM image. You can also use your own BIOS ROM image if you please.

mGBA Git (2025/03/12)

EmuCR: mGBAmGBA Git (2025/03/12) is compiled. mGBA is a new emulator for running Game Boy Advance games. It aims to be faster and more accurate than many existing Game Boy Advance emulators, as well as adding features that other emulators lack.

DOSBox-Staging Git (2025/03/12)

EmuCR: DOSBoxDOSBox-Staging Git (2025/03/12) is compiled. This repository attempts to modernize the DOSBox project by using current development practices and tools, fixing issues, adding features that better support today's systems, and sending patches upstream.

Dolphin Git 2503-45

EmuCR: DolphinDolphin Git 2503-45 is compiled. This is the trunk of Dolphin Project. Dolphin is the first Gamecube emulator able to run commercial games! Dolphin is a Gamecube, Wii and Triforce (the arcade machine based on the Gamecube) emulator which supports many extra features and abilities not present on the original consoles. It has a partial Wii support and plays most Gamecube games.

Xenia Git (2025/03/12)

EmuCR: XeniaXenia Git (2025/03/12) is compiled. Xenia is an experimental emulator for the Xbox 360. It does not run games (yet).

XEMU v0.8.34

EmuCR:Xbox EmulatorsXEMU v0.8.34 is released. xemu is an open-source, cross-platform application that emulates the hardware of the original Xbox game console, allowing users to play their Xbox games on Windows, macOS, and Linux systems. This project is focused on making significant forward progress in terms of features, performance, stability, and user experience in Xbox emulation. This project is an active fork of the XQEMU project, which is based on the very popular and highly actively maintained QEMU full system emulator project.

PCSX2 v2.3.212

EmuCR: PCSX2PCSX2 v2.3.212 is released. PCSX2 is a free and open-source PlayStation 2 (PS2) emulator. Its purpose is to emulate the PS2's hardware, using a combination of MIPS CPU Interpreters, Recompilers and a Virtual Machine which manages hardware states and PS2 system memory. This allows you to play PS2 games on your PC, with many additional features and benefits.

Box64 v0.3.4

EmuCR: Box64 Box64 v0.3.4 is released. Box64 enables running x86_64 Linux programs, including games, on non-x86_64 Linux systems such as Arm (64-bit little-endian host system required).

Cemu for Android v0.1

EmuCR: WiiUCemu for Android v0.1 is released. Cemu is a Nintendo Wii U emulator that runs commercial games. Highly experimental software to emulate Wii U applications on PC. It's written in C/C++ and is being actively developed with new features and fixes to increase compatibility, convenience and usability.

WinUAE v6.0.0 Beta 14

EmuCR:WinUAEWinUAE v6.0.0 Beta 14 is released. WinUAE is the commodore amiga emulator for Windows. WinUAE is a mostly complete software emulation of the hardware of the Commodore Amiga 500/1000/2000. A Commodore Amiga, for those who don’t know, is a 16/32 bit computer system based on the Motorola 680×0 CPU and a few specially designed custom chips that provide very good graphics and sound capabilities. Its first incarnation, the A1000, appeared in 1985, followed by the highly successful A500 and A2000 models. WinUAE is a port of the originally written for Unixish systems UAE; but over time, it seems the Windows port, WinUAE has become the best version available on any platform. WinUAE is free software: you are welcome to distribute copies of it and/or modify it, under certain conditions. There is no warranty of any kind for UAE. For more details concerning these issues, please read the GNU General Public License, which describes the terms under which WinUAE is distributed.

Altirra v4.40 Test 9

EmuCR:AltirraAltirra v4.40 Test 9 is released. Altirra is an Atari 8 bit Emulator on the Windows/DOS platform. Altirra emulates several models of the 8-bit Atari computers. This includes the the 800, 800XL, and 130XE versions. It has a lot of options, and compatibility is decent especially given the emulator's early stages. It also supports some copy protected games properly in emulation.

JORIC v1.1.8

GameInit.dat v0.275

GameInit.dat v0.275 is released. This file lists the initialization procedures of some games emulated by MAME; in fact, some of them, the first time are not immediately playable.

Borked3DS v2025.03.11

EmuCR: Borked3DSBorked3DS v2025.03.11 is released. Borked3DS is yet another Citra-derived project that aims to continue Nintendo 3DS emulation development work after that project shut down. Its lineage is directly derived from PabloMK7's now archived fork, but also incorporates elements from Lime3DS (also now defunct) and Mandarine, as well as providing its own stuff.

clownmdemu v1.2.1

EmuCR: clownmdemuclownmdemu v1.2.1 is released. This is clownmdemu, a Sega Mega Drive (a.k.a. Sega Genesis) emulator. It is currently in the very early stages of development: it can run some games, but many standard features of the Mega Drive are unemulated (see clownmdemu-frontend-common/clownmdemu/TODO.md for more information).

ScePSX Beta v0.1.4

ScePSX Beta v0.1.4 is released. ScePSX is a new Sony Playstation 1 emulator for windows (Open-Source in C# from unknowall). The core-code is partially based on ProjectPSX.
