rpcs3 Git (2025/10/13) is compiled. RPCS3 is an open-source Sony PlayStation 3 emulator and debugger written in C++ for Windows and Linux. The emulator has been in development since early 2011 and currently supports modern DirectX 12, Vulkan and OpenGL renderers. The emulator is capable of booting and playing a decent amount of commercial games and PlayStation 3 SDK samples. Many more titles are also becoming playable with future development by contributors.

Snes9x Git (2025/10/13) is compiled. Snes9x is a portable, freeware Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES) emulator. It basically allows you to play most games designed for the SNES and Super Famicom Nintendo game systems on your PC or Workstation; which includes some real gems that were only ever released in Japan. Snes9x is the result of well over three years worth of part-time hacking, coding, recoding, debugging, divorce, etc. (just kidding about the divorce bit). Snes9x is coded in C++, with three assembler CPU emulation cores on the i386 Linux and Windows ports.

Project64 Git (2025/10/13) is compiled. Project 64 is a proprietary Nintendo 64 emulator for Windows. It employs a plug-in system that allows third-party software developers to create their own implementation of a specified component. Project64 allows the user to play Nintendo 64 games on a computer by reading ROM images, either dumped from the read-only memory of a Nintendo 64 cartridge or created directly on the computer as homebrew. Project64 started as an exercise by Jabo and zilmar in an attempt to see if they were capable of programming a Nintendo 64 emulator. It's open source now.

DuckStation Git (2025/10/13) is compiled. DuckStation is an simulator/emulator of the Sony PlayStation(TM) console, focusing on playability, speed, and long-term maintainability. The goal is to be as accurate as possible while maintaining performance suitable for low-end devices. "Hack" options are discouraged, the default configuration should support all playable games with only some of the enhancements having compatibility issues.

Dolphin is a Gamecube, Wii and Triforce (the arcade machine based on the Gamecube) emulator which supports many extra features and abilities not present on the original consoles. It has a partial Wii support and plays most Gamecube games.

NanoBoyAdvance Git (2025/10/13) is compiled. NanoboyAdvance is a Nintendo Game Boy Advance (TM) emulator written in C++17. The goal is to create a minimal, accurate and reasonably efficient Game Boy Advance emulator in modern C++. The emulator implements the core hardware completely and with high accuracy. Almost all games can be emulated without any known issues, even the 'Classic NES' titles which abuse a variety of edge-cases and undefined behaviour.

OpenMSX is an open source MSX emulator which is free according to the Debian Free Software Guidelines, available under the GNU General Public License.For copyright reasons the emulator cannot be distributed with original BIOS ROM images. OpenMSX includes C-BIOS a minimal implementation of the MSX BIOS, allowing to play quite some games without the need to have an original MSX BIOS ROM image. You can also use your own BIOS ROM image if you please.

A Commodore Amiga, for those who don’t know, is a 16/32 bit computer system based on the Motorola 680×0 CPU and a few specially designed custom chips that provide very good graphics and sound capabilities. Its first incarnation, the A1000, appeared in 1985, followed by the highly successful A500 and A2000 models. WinUAE is a port of the originally written for Unixish systems UAE; but over time, it seems the Windows port, WinUAE has become the best version available on any platform. WinUAE is free software: you are welcome to distribute copies of it and/or modify it, under certain conditions. There is no warranty of any kind for UAE. This emulator aims at providing excellent accuracy and performance, a user-friendly interface and consistent builds. It was written from scratch and development on the project began in September 2017. Ryujinx is available on GitHub under the MIT license. On October 1st 2024, Ryujinx was discontinued as the creator was forced to abandon the project. This fork is intended to be a QoL uplift for existing Ryujinx users. This is not a Ryujinx revival project. This is not a Phoenix project.

Test7800 v0.7.0 is released. Test7800 is an experimental emulator for the Atari 7800. It's not complete and is missing some important features but it plays many of the 7800 ROM files that are available. It supports a78 files and will emulate regular "flat" ROM files and also "supergame" ROM files. It does not yet emulate the POKEY chip and similar hardware. The 6502, TIA and RIOT emulation is taken from Gopher2600 and is therefore well tested. The implemenation of the MARIA is new to this project.

Oboromi v0.0.1-dynarmic is released. oboromi is a modular and work-in-progress emulator for the Nintendo Switch 2. It's built in Rust and focuses on correctness, clarity, and traceability rather than performance at this stage. The current implementation includes a functioning CPU core, a memory management unit (MMU) with basic paging, and a custom memory subsystem. oboromi is not yet playable and does not emulate any commercial firmware or games.
