DOSBox-X v2026.05.02 is released. DOSBox-x is a branch of DOSBox. DOSBox emulates an Intel x86 PC, complete with sound, graphics, mouse, joystick, modem, etc., necessary for running many old MS-DOS games that simply cannot be run on modern PCs and operating systems, such as Microsoft Windows XP, Windows Vista, Linux and FreeBSD.

Cube64 / Wii64 v1.4

Cube64 / Wii64 v1.4 are released. Wii64 & Cube64 are Mupen64 for the Gamecube/Wii. Port of the popular multi-OS N64 emulator, Mupen64, to the Nintendo Gamecube and Wii through the libOGC library. The emulator currently uses dynamic recompilation of the N64 machine code to PowerPC (the Gamecube/Wii's ISA) and full hardware accelerated graphics to achieve (near) full-speed emulation in most instances.

aPS3e v2.40 is released. aPS3e is an Android-based PS3 emulator built from the RPCS3 source code, adhering to the GPLv2 license .

RPCN v1.8.8

RPCN v1.8.8 is released. RPCN is a server that implements multiplayer functionality for RPCS3. It implements rooms which permit matchmaking, scoreboards, title user storage(ie cloud saves), etc. All the settings and their descriptions are in rpcn.cfg.

Xenia Edge Git (2026/07/03)

Xenia Edge Git (2026/07/03) is released. Xenia Edge is yet another experimental fork of the Xenia emulator, mainly based on Xenia Canary but with the aim of quicker iteration and improvements to Vulkan backend and Linux platform in particular. Windows of course remains fully supported as well and will benefit from changes made here especially with its Vulkan backend.

WinVICE r46156 is released. WinVICE is a program that executes programs intended for the old 8-bit computers. The current version emulates the C64, the C128, the VIC20, all the PET models (except the SuperPET 9000, which is out of line anyway), the PLUS4 and the CBM-II (aka C610).

Gentleman v1.6.4

Gentleman v1.6.4 is released. Gentleman is a MiSTer-inspired emulator frontend for PC. The goal is to bring the simple, fast, menu-driven feel of the MiSTer interface to a PC-based emulator setup. Instead of using a database-heavy frontend, Gentleman builds its menu from a normal menu/ folder. Folders become menu categories, and JSON files become launcher entries.
