Write everything on top of SDL/OpenGL3+/ImGui for portability and readability. Improve the debugging experience. Improve the rendering experience.

OpenMSX includes C-BIOS a minimal implementation of the MSX BIOS, allowing to play quite some games without the need to have an original MSX BIOS ROM image. You can also use your own BIOS ROM image if you please.

MAME-NES v1.9 is released. This branch contains a major NES/Famicom accuracy update for MAME. The main M6502/NES CPU timing path, APU, and PPU have been heavily reworked toward cycle-accurate behavior. The goal of this work is to improve hardware accuracy while keeping the implementation compatible with MAME's existing NES/Famicom architecture.

Cube64 / Wii64 v1.5.0 are released. Wii64 & Cube64 are Mupen64 for the Gamecube/Wii. Port of the popular multi-OS N64 emulator, Mupen64, to the Nintendo Gamecube and Wii through the libOGC library. The emulator currently uses dynamic recompilation of the N64 machine code to PowerPC (the Gamecube/Wii's ISA) and full hardware accelerated graphics to achieve (near) full-speed emulation in most instances.
Nextendo v1.8.8
Nextendo v1.8.8 is released. Nextendo is a fork of the open-source Ryujinx Nintendo Switch emulator. On top of Ryujinx's excellent accuracy and performance, Nextendo adds a first-class, built-in client for the Nextendo Network — a community-run replacement for the official online service — so supported games can be played online again without any manual configuration, custom hosts file, or SSL bypass on the user's part. The emulation core (CPU, GPU, audio, input, filesystem) is unchanged from upstream Ryujinx. Nextendo's additions are limited to the networking layer and the surrounding user experience.
