So, is MAME plus! keeping cavesh3.c driver working? Is it not removed in this version?

ReplyDeleteMame Devs didn't take out Cave3 just to piss everyone off for the sake of it you know.
ReplyDeleteThey had the very real threat of legal action hanging over them by Cave, if they didn't remove it.
Cave are a very small developer and would be hit alot harder than the giants like Capcom,Namco..etc because of any lost sales due to the games being in Mame.
Cut the Devs some slack, as i bet those of you complaining about losing free games, would hesitate when faced with legal action in the real world.
people needs to relax over the whole cave\mame thing.first off cave was threating legal action,and the last thing ANYONE wants is MAME involved in ANYTHING legal.

Of course we don't want trouble for MAME, Cave fans can simply not upgrade and keeping old versions
exactly anon 8.I wish more people were like you.but I guess most are to stupid to realize that they can just keep 143u9 and keep playing cave games.Hell I have the 143 source,u1-u9 diff patches in a folder inc ase I do want to play cave games in the future.

ReplyDelete@ 12 they are afraid of legal issues because MAME is well known.it does not matter where you upload from,they will sue MAMEdev,they arent hard to find
