EmuCR: NesDSNesDS v0.54a is released. NesDS is a public-domain NES emulator for the Nintendo DS. The code was originally written in the commercial Nintendo DS devkit. This project's first milestone is to port that code to the open-source devkit.

EmuCR: MESSMESS SVN r12171 is released. MESS(Multi Emulator Super System) is an open source emulator which emulates a large variety of different systems. MESS is a source-available project which documents the hardware for a wide variety of (mostly vintage) computers, video game consoles, and calculators through software emulation, as MAME does for arcade games. As a nice side effect to this documentation, MESS allows software and games for these hardware platforms to be run on modern PCs.

XM7'(DASH) v1.2L9.0 is released. XM7' is an eXcellent fujitsu Micro seven emulator for 7 platforms.

EmuCR: Q4Wine Q4Wine v0.121 is released. Q4Wine is a qt4 GUI for W.I.N.E. It will help you manage wine prefixes and installed applications. Q4Wine currently support for both Linux and FreeBSD platforms.

EmuCR:PS2 emulatorPCSX2 SVN r4801 is released. PCSX2 is an open source PlayStation 2 (PS2) emulator for the Microsoft Windows and Linux operating systems. With the most recent versions, many PS2 games are playable (although speed limitations have made play-to-completion tests for many games impractical), and several games are claimed to have full functionality.

EmuCR:DeSmuMEDeSmuME SVN r4055 is released. DeSmuME is an open source Nintendo DS(NDS) emulator for Linux, Mac OS and Windows. DeSmuME supports save states, the ability to increase the size of the screen and it supports filters to improve image quality. DeSmuME also supports microphone use on Windows and Linux ports, as well as direct video and audio recording. The emulator also features a built-in movie recorder.

EmuCR:iMAME4all iMAME4all experimental support for iCade Beta 2 is released. iMAME4all is a iOS universal app done by David Valdeita (Seleuco), port of MAME 0.37b5 emulator by Nicola Salmoria & TEAM for all jailbroken iOS devices (iPad HD, iPhone 4G , iPod touch and older) and it is based on GP2X, WIZ MAME4ALL 2.5 by Franxis. It emulates arcade games supported by original MAME 0.37b5 plus some additional games from newer MAME versions.

EmuCR: The Zod EngineThe Zod Engine 2011/07/07 is released. The Zod Engine is an open source remake of the 1996 game Z by the Bitmap Brothers written in C++ using the SDL library for Linux / Windows / Etc.

EmuCR: HalfNESHalfNES v0.037 is released. HalfNES is an open-source emulator for the Nintendo Entertainment System, written in Java. Currently, it only runs as a standalone Java SE application.

EmuCR:DolphinDolphin SVN r7670 is released. Dolphin is the first Gamecube emulator able to run commercial games! Dolphin is a great Gamecube(NGC) and Wii emulator. It has a partial Wii support and plays most Gamecube games. SSSE3 and SSE4 optimized are enabled in this build.

PSP Custom Firmware 6.39 ME-8 is now available to the homebrew community for PSP users running a hackable PSP 1000 and PSP 2000 models only. If you have one of those hackable PSP 1000 and 2000 models, Then this is the latest PSP CFW 6.39 ME-8 for your PSP system. PSP CFW 6.39 ME-8 was develop and release by PSP Developer Neur0n who has deicded to release his 8th version of his ME Custom Firmware to the homebrew community. Remember that all Neur0n Custom Firmware release are in beta stages and might not work as intended. EmuCR: IV/PlayIV/Play v1.5.1 is released. IV/Play (pronounced ‘Four Play’) is a new desktop oriented GUI front-end for MAME™. It was designed and commissioned by John IV as a familiar feeling alternative to MAMEUI. It has a narrow and particular feature-set, is keyboard driven, and utilises many of the navigation and short cuts of MAMEUI. It is available as a combo x64/x86 app and is targeted towards Windows 7 (or greater) with leveraged features like Jump List support. IV/Play is decoupled from setting MAME options directly in an effort to future proof against the continual core changes that impact MAMEUI.

EmuPack v1.8 is released. EmuPack is a collection of emulators that have been developed by the emulation communities. An emulator is software that duplicates the functions of the hardware that it is trying to emulate. Basically emulators make it possible, for example, to play Nintendo or Playstation games on your computer. EmuPack is an installer script and frontend that attempts to create an out of box solution for emulation of multiple consoles and file type associations.

EmuCR:AltirraAltirra 2.0 Test 10 is released. Altirra is an Atari 8 bit Emulator on the Windows/DOS platform. Altirra emulates several models of the 8-bit Atari computers. This includes the the 800, 800XL, and 130XE versions. It has a lot of options, and compatibility is decent especially given the emulator's early stages. It also supports some copy protected games properly in emulation.
