DOSBox-X Git (2026/05/17) is compiled. DOSBox-x is a branch of DOSBox. DOSBox emulates an Intel x86 PC, complete with sound, graphics, mouse, joystick, modem, etc., necessary for running many old MS-DOS games that simply cannot be run on modern PCs and operating systems, such as Microsoft Windows XP, Windows Vista, Linux and FreeBSD.

DOSBox-X Changelog:
* Program base class: Accept a bitfield in the constructor, define a bitfield value that instructs the constructor not to read or handle the PSP segment nor to construct a PSP or CommandLine object. This is necessary for any case where external code, like the menu commands, construct instances of IMGMOUNT and call Run() and expect to carry out a function atop whatever DOS program or guest OS is running. This is necessary for something like that to work without corrupting DOS PSP segment structures or guest OS memory. If guest OS is running and the "no PSP" flag is not set, print a warning to the log.
