DOSBox-Staging Git (2026/07/06) is compiled. This repository attempts to modernize the DOSBox project by using current development practices and tools, fixing issues, adding features that better support today's systems, and sending patches upstream.

* Store longname as UTF-8 and shortname as codepage 437 in drive cache
* Remove stat use from localDrive::FileExists
* Replace stat with native functions in TestDir
* Replace use of stat in localDrive::FindNext with native function
* Use Windows wide functions for directory listing
* Move implementation of codepage437_to_utf16 to cpp file
* Remove longNameList from drive cache
* Only lock/unlock SDL surface when it is not already in that state
* Clear BIOS cursor type in EGA/VGA graphics modes
