Seta GX v0.4.1 is released. Seta GX is an experimental Sega Saturn emulator for the Wii. The original Yabause Wii port was heavily modified and simplified. A couple of improvements (namely CHD support and SCU emulation) come from devmiyax's Yaba Sanshiro. The main speed improvement comes from hardware accelerated rendering by using some tricks of the Hollywood GPU.
Features
CUE or CHD file support.
GameCube controller support.
SD and/or USB storage (FAT32).
Can save games.
Seta GX changelog:
Quick update to fix some issues with last release, changes are:
Better general video configuration support (PAL included), will probably still find issues since I can't test every TV setup.
Better error screen reporting on startup.
All controllers now work on error screens.
Fix loading the first game cover when loading the emulator.
Add Mode 2 CRAM conversion (e.g. Sonic Jam title screen correct colors).
Fix screens jumping around (e.g. Sonic R and Mega Man 8).
Add Multitap option, controllers considered for input now turn white, select between having 1 mutitap for 7 players or 2 multitaps for all 8 players. NOTE: some games don't work with a connected multitap, you can still return to the menu.
Additional important release notes
I will stop adding the additional folders to the .zip (vgames/covers/saves) since with the setagx.conf file you can specify whatever folders you want.
The Wii U Gamepad handling code is now joined into one release to avoid confusion.
I changed the name to the Wii Flow example .ini file (now called wiiflow_example.ini) to also avoid confusion.
If you have any issues please open an issue here directly so I can better keep track of them.
Thanks to everyone for your support!
