EmuCR: SupermodelSupermodel SVN r375 is compiled. Supermodel is a Sega Model 3 arcade emulator. Supermodel emulates Sega's Model 3 arcade platform, allowing you to play a number of ground-breaking 3D classics on your PC.

Supermodel SVN Changelog:
Legacy engine: preliminary per-vertex fixed shading. Only limited testing with LA Machineguns (appears to work), Sega Rally 2 (appears okay), and Scud Race (fixes expert course bridge but not other mis-colored polygons).
read front buffer
Luminous bit is now also dumped in polygon header analysis because shading modes may depend on whether or not lighting is enabled
Legacy engine: extracting fixed shading component (but still can't use it because unsure of how to activate)
Fixed polygon header bit analysis code: was forgetting to swap GL buffer back to retrieve pixels from last rendered frame

  1. このたわごとをコンパイルストップ、何もあなたの臭いファイルで変化しません。Emucrファック、あなたファック!

  2. Emucr uses an outdated SDL file to produce such bad quality music in Daytona USA 2 and causes the cave music to mute all the sounds after the first 10 seconds of the song.

You should go to Supermodel forums and ask for someone to get a better compiled build of this version without sound issues.

    2. I try all SDL versions and does the same problem, it can be Supermodel.exe problem only.

    3. There is a .353 version on one of their forums that is flawless (from a sound standpoint), and was compiled by a non-team member. EmuCRs response time on these compiles is just awesome, so it's really just shame the the sound issue cannot be sorted out. Are your SVN and MSYS files compiled for multi-threading? Perhaps that is the problem.

    4. Correction - v335 and SDL, not SVN. And it was built with MinGW64, MT compiled MSYS, and MT compiled SDL. The result was the SuperModel emu needing 3 additional DLL files to run correctly.

    5. I just simple read the tutorial on Supermodel 3 Fórum and i got that error issue.

    6. Steps

      1. Check out the latest development version of Supermodel from the main trunk in the SourceForge SVN repository with a suitable SVN client, eg:

      Code: Select all
      svn co https://model3emu.svn.sourceforge.net/svnroot/model3emu/trunk trunk

      2. Download the SDL v1.2.14 source (http://www.libsdl.org/release/SDL-1.2.14.zip) and unpack into trunk\Libraries.

      3. Download the ZLib v1.2.4 source (http://sourceforge.net/projects/libpng/files/zlib/1.2.4/zlib124.zip/download) and unpack into trunk\Libraries.

      4. Download and install the Microsoft DirectX SDK (June 2010) (http://www.microsoft.com/download/en/details.aspx?displaylang=en&id=6812).

      5. a) Open the Visual Studio solution Supermodel.sln held in trunk\VS2008,

      5. b) Choose whether to build a Debug or Release version of Supermodel (the Debug version builds quicker but runs slower) and whether to target Win32 or x64 architecture,

      5. c) Start the build! It will take a while to compile everything but if all goes well you should end up with the following files and directories (amongst many others) in the output directory:

      Code: Select all

These files are all that are needed for Supermodel to run (you can ignore the others that are in there).

      5. d) If you want to run supermodel from within Visual Studio then before you do so you should go to the property pages of the Supermodel project and set the command arguments as required (ie to point to a ROM) and change the working directory to $(OutDir) (otherwise Supermodel won't be able to locate its Supermodel.ini config file).
