EmuCR: PCSX2PCSX2 Git (2022/05/05) is compiled. PCSX2 is a free and open-source PlayStation 2 (PS2) emulator. Its purpose is to emulate the PS2's hardware, using a combination of MIPS CPU Interpreters, Recompilers and a Virtual Machine which manages hardware states and PS2 system memory. This allows you to play PS2 games on your PC, with many additional features and benefits. The PCSX2 project has been running for more than ten years. Past versions could only run a few public domain game demos, but newer versions can run most games at full speed, including popular titles such as Final Fantasy X and Devil May Cry 3.

  1. A long time ago, I thought the PCXS2 team said that it would require a major rewrite to add x64 compatibility and that allegedly there were no benefits to making an x64 version. Does anyone have any input, maybe I was wrong in what I had heard?

  2. Theres always some gain over32 bits. And the team has putting some efforts on 64bits side.
In the oficial site, you already van download x64 directly on nightly builds:

    1. Thats what I said, being able to access more RAM.
